When Beaver's parents go away for the day, Beaver and Gilbert decide to pretend to be parents and take their children for a car ride. But when Beaver 'stops' the car, the brake slips which makes the car roll into the middle of the street. - Комедії
I love how there's barely ever any traffic on the street, until this. Then all these cars appear from nowhere.
They are soooo high!
I love this show. It was one of the few shows of the time that showed kids as people, not always good and cheery but not always bad. Ward was a decent guy, but shown as flawed on occasion. Maybe Mama June was the only one that didn't take any slings.... still a funny show.

That Gilbert pretending to be the mother is hilarious
Notice how when they are in the car in the driveway, it's a pillared sedan but when it's in the street the car is a hardtop with fake cardboard pillars added?

Your right! if you look at the car as the boys first run up to it, ITS A HARD TOP...then as they play it has pillars..BUT! ..as the car is in the street those ARE NOT factory pillars..they DO look like cardboard!
Chrome strips on the roof liner once they're in the car rolling into the street, too. The driveway close-ups are in a prop car with cut-aways for easier filming.

Did you also notice that while they were in the car, no cars passed by, but when it coasts into the street, its an interstate.

Typical Gilbert behavior. When the chips are down Gilbert will leave you out there all by your yourself. He ALWAYS abandon ship when the going gets tough. But he is your "friend", eh Beaver?

he left the show because his parents moved to the EAST coast...many years later a reporter came to his door while he was at work and asked to speak..when he got home his wife laughed and told him "they thought you were Larry from beaver"....I am he told her....He had NEVER told her in all the years they were married!

That doumb getting a ticket for parking a car in the drive way if you don't have a license and asking someone to drive it back to the driveway he should of ask the police to get it up there United of wally doing it
