The riding in Sedona, Arizona, is some of my favorite around, and I was extra excited to try out my new Ibis Ripmo Carbon V2 with the Trust Shout fork on these red trails. My wife’s extended family has a house in Sedona, so we visit quite often. During our last trip, back in February, I ran my GoPro on a quick lap on one of my fave trails. It didn’t all go quite to plan!

Ever notice that PNW logo on my handlebars? No, I’m not repping my locale that hard- or wait, maybe I am- but that’s actually a company that my friend Aaron runs! PNW Components makes some high end controls, including bars, stems, grips, dropper posts, levers, and a few other awesome items. Have a peek at their beautiful site through my affiliate link here: bit.ly/PNWComp...
Sedona, AZ, has some really unique riding. It’s not the gnarliest, fastest, most extreme bike style stuff, but instead, it’s just really pretty with some very interesting tech. The uphills are just as fun as the downhills! Check all the Sedona trails at Trailforks. My route here is Thunder Mountain to Teacup:

Awesome! "Have a good night" breaks into Spanish! Casual mannies and wheelies on trail and simple 360 (270) drops - you are a freaking animal! Your daughter rippin!
If you would take a shot every time you said have a goodnight lol Great videos man!!🤘🏽
Your daughter is fearless she wanted to send it!!!
Ugh, people who wear full headphones while hiking on singletrack annoy me so much. They're so clueless.
I got stuck behind someone doing that during an XC race on trails that were still open to the public and i couldn’t get past. i lost so much time
Because of COVID lots of people have been out hiking/walking that normally would never do it so many of them lack etiquette because they have zero clue and are entitled. I was biking and coming up behind a mom, her teenage daughter and their dog, I said "hi there, excuse me", the daughter turns around, looks at me directly, and doesn't budge. I then say it again, they don't move, and continue to walk 3 wide, so I had to basically almost hit them as I biked on their right and turns out they refused to move over for my dad who was behind me too. Complete idiots.
Just bump them lightly with your front wheel.
Rattlesnakes love those people!
Ted Striker agree 100%, at least just use one side, it shows safety and respect and you still get to listen to your fave crime podcast about the single trail walker that went missing in moab 😉👍
Great stuff Jeff 🤙🚴 Jeff your a Spring chicken 35 I'm 48 age just a number lol 🤙🚴 enjoyed the Video buddy 😉👌
Loved the ending!!!
Girlfriend just said "I left the remote on your side of the bed so you can watch Jeff Wingle Weed before you go to sleep" 🤣. Kendall / Wingle, same thing right? 🚴♂️🚴♂️
I'm literally going to the garage right now to remove and grease my freehub body just to make sure it never sounds like that
Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh, I thought Galbi was busy! LOL
Such a good ambassador for the sport, thank you! Wicked Endo 360s until that front wheel decided to get hung up!
Jeff got more out of breath for saying ‘have a good night’...😂
Was part of the training 😅
Wow! Trail was crowded (thanks for showing). Are Sedona Trails always that packed with people?
Awesome 360s. Bummer on the last one. Hope you are okay.
Love how your daughter kept going for the jump lines.
Ooooohh cringe... Glad to to see you walk away from that off relatively unscathed. I don't think it matters what age you are. I am sure you will feel it the next morning. Given my age, I would feel it for the next couple of weeks. :)
Edit... Just got to the end of the video. So awesome to see your daughter out on the big pump track.
Most parents have a home movie of their child's first steps. I bet you can't wait for her first manual. :)
I don't even think there IS a hole in that fence anymore? There used to be a gate there but the land owners decided they didn't want that anymore. I've ridden BACK on that trail and got lost because of the changes.
oohhh she sooo cooool
I started playing a drinking game for every person you passed on teh tral and I mdae it 2 abo.....zzzzzzzzzzzz. Cool video as always, and your daughter is cut as a button man. Phenomenal to see you and your family out there!! I can't believe you weren't hurt more from that slam. I bet your right shoulder didn't feel very good for at least a few days. Looking forward to the next JKW vid!!!
Actually,...you could really use two bells. One that goes 'Ding Ding', and one that goes 'Have a good night,...thankyou'
#JKW “Life's not about how hard of a hit you can give... it's about how many you can take, and still keep moving forward.”
― Sylvester Stallone, Rocky Balboa that’s what I thought after your 360 slam. I’m 35 and feeling the fittest I’ve been. You do inspire people without trying. Thanks
DO NOT SHOW THIS VIDEO TO YOUR WIFE!!!! She may not let you play Mt. Bikes anymore.
You are one skilful dude Jeff. Those manuals and the 360’s off that drop - amazing to watch and you bounce pretty good too haha! You must be the most patient and polite guys I’ve seen too. Top video. Thanks.
Hot damn that was a gnarly bail. I used to run around and bike with my brothers alone on these trails growing up in Sedona. Hardly a soul. There were barely any developed trails back then. Crazy how busy all the trails are nowadays. CoVID traffic is off the hook.
Enjoyed the vid Jeff, your daughters a chip off the old block ! Did you feel any pain in your pelvis when you crashed ?
Another great vid and glad you were ok on that 360😱
Okay, the Fam thing is the cutest ever...my daughter is about to turn 13. Cherish these times!!
Is it the handlebars creaking? Some are hard to isolate.
I think putting emphasis on your age limits you and your riding potential
Headphones and ear buds... Pet peeves of mine...
That looked freaking painful!
Hey Jeff, my shimano cassette creaks like mad. Is it kind of normal to need to grease the freehub body? Are you running the new microspline freehub?
What language u speaking with some of the folks there?
Wow what would happen if you did break your hip in da middle of nowhere.
thats about 26 " have a good night " greetings:)
Another brilliant edit Jeff, NEVER EVER take advantage of all the amazing and amazingly insane trail system you get to ride.. Hows the hip?
Trail advocate says have a good night.
🤣🤣🤣 your kid will be a biker soon wow
Never got to teach my daughter how to ride. Very jealous. Someday, she'll be faster than dad.
🤘
Looks amazing!!! Are you still running cushcore in those tires??? If yes worth the weight??? Thx
Hey Jeff, got a question: How do you keep your feet on the pedals when going over roots or rock gardens? How do you keep your feet from basically bouncing off the pedals. I've found that dropping heels helps, but anything else?
This is exactly what I'm talking about! This is what I'm experiencing at my local trails!!....
So frustrating but have to be patient....LOL.
Quick question: Does the dinger on your bell lock into place? Or does it move around while riding? I tried to glue mine into place and destroyed it :-(. Another one is on the way.
My two granddaughters have flow bikes like your daughter. We went camping this past weekend and they road the trails and had a blast. But never thought to try a pump track with them.
Super rad rock-walk 🔥your not old because if you were I'd need a walker😂so cool your getting your daughter into riding 😍
Nice come back! I cringed when you fell.. glad you were ok. How was the weather out there in Feb?.. thinking of going there for my Bday next year
Awesome video as always. Love to see families out riding together!
Jeff sack of potatoes. Holy smokes dude. That was epic.
OMG! OUCH! Did that incident remind you why you haven't done 360's for long time?
I was in Sedona in early March and the trails were exactly like this, even during the weekdays. It's nice to see people out and enjoying the nature but I did miss the solidarity of my home trails in Idaho.
The elevation really does make a difference, usually you aren't winded in your videos, or is it from all the talking to the hikers!
Great video. I ride in sedona a lot in the winter and its rough when its so crowded. I try to be on the trail while its still cold. Its a lot less crowded then.
hope that noise is your cam-mmount showing my age but i keep expecting to stop and hhhave a fight with a gorn!
Nice Woom strider! Looks like she was ready to jump it. Did you ever create review for the Trust fork?
ooouuuchaa felt thhhat did the same thing yesterday but luckily had my new pads on!
💛
Thanks for showing the rest of us that our heroes are human! Nice video man.
She’s gonna be a sender!!!! Bet your a very proud pop. 😎
Wow trails were super crowded that day.
That fall looked tough. Glad you walked away.
Want to see you on some propain bikes.
Damn, I felt that fall...
glad you good lmao
Any plans to ride with Steve at Hardtail Party?!
this was in feb...
Duuuuuude, your daughter's the cutest haha epic
She's ready to send the jumps :D
First
Well done Mr. Wong
WTF Sedona hikers have to be the biggest hypocrites on earth. I’d love to see their reaction if us mountain bikers where riding horses in downtown Sedona while they are going grocery getting. 🙄🤔😳🙃
