As a 90's kid , I just want a remake of Kanto and Johto regions where I can play straight through both regions. That would be my perfect pokemon game. Let's go Pikachu was so close except for that catch system. DID not like that.

I know australis just means south in Latin, and as such, there are many animals with "australis" in their scientific name, but I still think it might point to G10 being set in Australia.

A remake that didn't fix the level curve, lock some gen 2 pokemon to kanto, gym leaders and elite four still using gen 1 over gen 2 pokemon, both regions dragging each other down with Kanto feeling more empty is somehow decent. You may consider it decent but I consider it the worst remake in the franchise.
the dolphin could simply be hinting at getting gamecube pokemon games like XD Gale of Darkness. Rumors have been floating about gamecube being added as a nintendo online feature, paired with a possible bluetooth gamecube controller for it. Dolphin being the code name for the gamecube seems fairly straight forward. Only thing that hurts that idea, both of the gamecube games were more so considered spin offs instead of main series.
I realize this might never happen but I would love them to make a Pokemon battle revolution game for the Nintendo switch where you can use all the mechanics following the master class tournament rules and every single Pokemon to ever exist can be put into the game
I Personally Hope That It doest feel to much like the Players boxed into one place thats always a risk with letting player be in one major place and like others said Hopefully it bug checked before its out it really says a lot that i even need to say the latter Games should be bug tested by default before release i dream of Being a Game Developer myself so i don’t get how they have no since of pride in release it without bugs.
For some reason when i saw the picture of the dolphin, i immediately thought of 'Codename Dolphin', which was the internal name for Nintendo Gamecube during its production. But i don't know any 'mainline' Pokemon titles on Gamecube that they could be referring to. Unless they mean a Pokemon Colosseum remake. I would love that but i don't consider those games as 'mainline'.

I just hope they spend adequate amounts of time on the newer games they release. Scarlet and Violet released so unfinished and clunky, after all the updates and fixes it has turned into a phenomenal set of games, super fun dlc too, but it's just difficult to think of S&V without having the bad taste of the release condition.
it is not a leak. It is a rumor and Riddler Khu is a liar. We not getting another game in 2025. And we are not getting BW remakes in gen 9 and on the Switch. Pokemon fans need to give it up and stop asking for multiple games in one year. That is what we call being greedy and ungrateful. BDSP is the best remake while HGSS and ORAS are terrible remakes. Gen 10 is not releasing in 2027. We are not getting remakes this year. End of discussion.
