Any suggestions for a 16 gig or larger graphics card.i need 1 that's running at least 16 GB or higher and ironically not for gaming but it needs to be a 16 or higher for running language model programs locally.
The 1 in particular I'm looking at is xoxta and i u want to run it and most others locally you need a 16 gig or higher graphics card. I know they don't call and graphics cards anymore but you get my point I'm so old I still call and graphics cards I think nowadays do you guys call and Graphics processors.

Considering your niche in PC building I am shocked this is the first video you’ve made on the 6600m. I had thought you would have talked about these last year. They were right around $160 even early 2023.
I have 6 of the Sapphire Pulse 5700xt cards that have been hammered by mining (corrosion in the radiators as well as other issues). I paid 436 for all 6 (I bought the first three 14 months ago) and all they needed was pads, paste, 2 new fans (out of 12 fans-you don't even have to take the cards apart to replace the fans) and one needed one of the fan connectors reset. My children and I are still gaming and using them as media servers. Some run a little under average spec and some are well over average spec (Passmark and Heaven). The only thing I do differently when running them is I use a more aggressive fan profile (not that it is screaming but if the hot spot gets to 70C the fans are at 85% as I recall and go to 100% pretty quickly) than the default bios setting for the fan profile.

Still a great card. I still use my Asus STRIX 1080ti in my second PC.

The whole point in buying new as opposed to used is to have something reliable with a warranty and you know newer drivers. I'm not entirely sure this fits the bill

I'm happy with my 15$ rx 580 8gb saphire nitro that I purchased from someone who said the gpu is broken but when I got it it worked with artifacts and I simply switched its bios and now I'm rocking a decent gpu 👍👍

You can actually drag the power slider to the max inside amd software to get a bit more performance for the 6600m
the problem is only aftersales because the seller usually gone after order is finished

My current RX 6800 was an ex-mining GPU bought it last year in July and still going strong. It replaced my old 1080ti. Can't wait to see the performance for the RX 8800 or 9800 when they come out, also keen to check out Intel's Battlemage too. My current CPU is the 5800X3D
I think AMD is doing great work Since the beginning even after a downfall and joining Lisa Su as leader, not only that the approach has made competition healthier than previous markings. I when got hand on AMD based desktop working, my first experience is the Energy Efficiency and performance gains yet cooler operation, while my first intel cpu was a power hogger. We need to see much more from AMD
@@ScientificZoom my Corsair TX 850M PSU is still doing well from when I bought it back in 2018. Its currently powering my RX 6800, 5800X3D and my X570s motherboard.

I had the option of buying a 3060, arc a750 and 6600xt and I ended up going with the arc (in Australia at the time it was significantly better value) and I'm actually very happy with it. out of curiosity, how would this 6600m compete with the intel arc a750
This is a great video and I really enjoyed the detailed explanation on the 6600m. So it would be great to see a video on a core i3 14100f because that is a cheaper CPU like the 6600m is a cheaper GPU

My Minisforum HX77G has a 6600m in it. It can play triple-A titles. It is the 8GB of VRAM that seems to hold it back.
Just a heads up, when buying a Soyo GPU check the VBIOS version, sometimes they still have a mining bios that runs underclocked and undervolted, I had to flash a stock bios on my 5700xt to get the performance back.

Radeon in general is a subpar choice because its video encoder falls behind in clarity (measure of a recording's accuracy to real display output) at _every_ bitrate compared to NVENC v7+ (Turing onwards) and Quick Sync v8+ (UHD 600 onwards). For affordable streaming/recording, I would emphasize an Intel Arc 700-series GPU. AV1 support, exceptional encode power and solid price/performance besides makes it an excellent entry-level content creation card.
Soyo made my favorite motherboard of all time, with the 440BX chipset for Pentium II. It was a victim of the Great Fake Electrolytic Capacitor issue around 2000. My ASUS and Abit motherboards died as well.
With the exception of Product Key Cards (PKC’s) distributed with COA’s, Microsoft does not distribute products keys as standalone products. I'd recommend the Creative Pebble 2.0 speakers. I've had mine for about 6 months now and I haven't had any issues so far. There are USB-A and USB-C versions. They're really small and clean looking too, if looks matter to you lol. I have the USB-A version and it was about $25 on Amazon.

Hey Zach. What do you think about the Tom's Hardware GPU Hierarchy chart? Specifically, the part where 4090 leaves a huge gap behind every card behind, even its own 4080 Super. The 3090 didn't have that big of a gap with its 3080 brothers.

Hey zach, just realized i’ve been losing performance on the computer i’ve built recently because i put my gpu in the wrong (gen 3) pcie slot. Some games especially helldivers and Fortnite ran way worse because of that. Also wanted to note that i also used an amd 7800xt in that slot and had no issues, maybe its only the nvidia 40 series that really takes advantage of gen 4. Just thought it might be worth a psa.
Do the mobile chips have lower power consumption? I have access to some HP computers with 4000 series ryzen processors, but they only have 180 watt power supplies. If these were low power cards, they'd make great budget gaming computers.
Good God, I haven't heard the name Soyo for decade+. Had a MB from them with a K6-2 back in the day, day long gone.
The only brand of that 6600m available on my country, well at least at the moment, is from Aisurix. And I kinda feeling sketchy about that particular brand since a lot of people have a problem with dead or artifact GPU after only about a month of usage.

I typically buy a lot of lightsabers and stuff and I can confirm that pretty much all the sellers try their best to aid you if anything goes wrong and it always ends up well since they always send a replacement without need to return the defective product too. I believe it's mostly how chinese customer service is because the service there is better than anything I had on amazon or anywhere else really.
looking to buy a new setup: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X and Montech Sky Two ATX Gaming Mid Tower Computer Case. My concern is what CPU cooler to run? Ram clearance seems to be an issue with larger CPU fan coolers and case maybe tight for water cooling. Any suggestions?

Can you compare the arc a580 againist three of the cards mentioned in the video ? They goes for around the same price
Considering the A580 is $180 and you can get an RX6600 that is a much better GPU for $200, it really isn't worth buying, especially when it still struggles in numerous titles because of driver issues. Also, you absolutely have to have reBAR support to use one, whereas a 6600 will still perform quite well without it. Sure, the 5700XT might be a little more powerful without reBAR but the 5700XT and 1660 Super don't support DX12U which will be significant moving forward. the 3050 shouldn't be purchased by anyone. It is just an objectively bad value for money.
The Power Color RX6600 I just tested with a humble Ryzen 5500 would have outperformed the 5700XT tested here, let alone the 6600 he tested. I can pretty much guarantee he tested that 6600 without reBar or it was a particularly bad example of a 6600.

Well considering last time I bought Radeon my PC was out of commission on a yearly basis as the gpu had to be sent back for repairs every year until one time I ran out of the warranty time by a hair, I never buying msi again.
Tried out the 3050 6Gb, sofar pretty pleased with it, it runs well for me for the games I want to play.

5700xt is great until it starts burning up on you. Under volting helps some, under clocking more.
I wish there were more conversations about performance on "simulation" games like software inc, sims, or what's coming from paradox interactive.

I don't know if you'll ever see this comment but I'm sorry it's completely unrelated to the video but I'd like to ask for help, I have an RX 6600 XT and it keeps on giving me black screens while doing something that's more "demanding" like playing games. The PC itself stays on but the monitor goes black and it's really annoying because the monitor only comes back, after I fully restart the PC. My PC is a budget one built by me and the specs are the following, AM4 A520 Mobo from ASRock, Ryzen 5 3600 , 16 Gigs of Ram G.Skill Aegis 3000 mhz and lastly a used Cougar 750 bronze PSU. (I've read that the PSU could be at fault but I am really not sure at this point.) Updated my BIOs to the latest version, got the latest chipset drivers too and used DDU to clean my Drivers then reinstalled Adrenaline 22.11.2 as I've read that is the best for 6000 series.. I don't know what to do anymore.
I don't shop on Ali Express and usually scams I get on phone calls have that "potential spam" warning. 2 days after an Ali Express order I got a call marked "Bank of America" which is my credit card company, but it was a scammer. Shop there with caution.

How does he have 4 sticks of RAM and a tower cooler and not have the cooler fan sitting on the RAM at 5:10? This is the only thing keeping me from getting RGB versus LPX ram.
Zach I have 2 gpu in my laptop an hd 520 and an amd one I cannot change my GPU when I want to play Minecraft because the hd 520 is set as default but after setting my game at high performance to use my amd gpu, it doesn't work

I had a 1660 super and t-force 2 x 8 ram and upgraded them to a 4060 rtx ti and gotten 4 - 2 x 16 t-force rams and I launched it up changed a few things when to click on a game and it gave me the good old kernel security check failure
