He dreamed of her first when she was a toddler. She was his closest friend’s daughter and when he brought the idea to her father, he objected which tells you it wasn’t common to marry children. He then married her at 6 at which point he began “thighing” her (inserting his male part between her childish legs). I only learnt about this thighing through the authentic hadiths that report the various ways he violated her before actually consummating the so called marriage when she was 9. Her own mother force fed her to make her grow bigger so her body can accommodate the invasion. Then it seems like he brainwashed her into becoming sexual herself because there are hadiths where she praises his bedroom skills even though she had no one to compare him to. He died when she was 18 and he forbade anyone from marrying his wives after him. She died in her 60s, not having a companion for the majority of her life. He cursed her with the marriage from her toddler years all the way to her death. Now in the 21st century we are expected to overlook the atrocities and emulate a man who didn’t have the decency to see a child as a child. What kind of God condones molestation?
I found about thighing recently, I was truly disgusted. But I still don't cite it because consumation at 9 is already f'ed up enough. I tend not to scare the muslims about this kind of penetrating news.
Oh man, thank you, it gets so tiring and boring!!! And after Ayesha’s name too, he says something almost every time but not all because it is such a childish rule, it’s like a game. What a ridiculous cult.
It's like a small version of a profession of faith to constantly condition himself and the people around him. I guess by this he sounds like an authority to susceptive people and it gets less relevant to them what he actually says.
@@Pondering_Primate What are some of the verses in the Quran that made you think it was a cult. When I read the Quran, I did not come across such verses. As for the hadith, I cannot make any comment about them since I have not gone through them.

Only recently I have thought of it as a cult when I look at the Quran and hadith holistically. What do you think the relevance of Muhammad's love life are to us in 2022? The saddest thing is, that young girls all around the world are suffering this form of abuse…. And because of the status of the perpetrator, we all must engage in this level of mental gymnastics. Let’s bring up little girls; now women, who experienced this and ask them how they feel? Let’s bring up young teens who have experienced this and what from them? The saddest thing is… these poor girls/women remain voiceless on this issue.
This shows how sensitive this religion is for this. They know it is wrong to marry a 6 year old but they have to find a excuse for it. Morals have changed but this religion has not.

I see a lot of comments like "my grandmother got married at 12/13/14/15/16 etc." 1. Is your grandfather a prophet of God we're supposed to emulate for all times to come? 2. What was the age difference between your grandfather and grandmother? Is it 47+ years? 3. 12/13/14/15/16 are more than twice of 6. 4. Just because it was okay then, doesn't mean it's not wrong. Slavery was okay then too, but obviously, it is wrong. 5. If Mohammad was a man of his time, why should we still follow him today?
1. No and neither was the marriage of the prophet for all times sake, in Islam it clearly states to get married with consent and with someone who is mature 2. Very large Slavery and this are two different things.. slavery still has the same impacts as it would have back then I’m not answering anymore because this UA-cam channel and comments are hilariously ignorant and islamphobic
It's funny how Muslims claim that consent was given but their definition of consent is that her father agreed, not her. Do you people really understand your silly logic? 2. @@greenbananas12378 Another shot in the foot. So did the Prophet marry with Aisha's consent? If yes, then can a 6 year old's consent can be considered a 'Consent'? If yes, then man there can be no arguments with you because of how devoid of conscience you are. If no, then can a 6 year old's guardian i.e. father's consent be considered the 6 year old's consent? If that is yes, then because its the father's consent, it cannot be the 6 year old's consent. Another thing, children will believe and love according to their parents opinions and views. So no wonder Aisha may have not even protested this because she saw, heard and believed that marrying Muhammad was a 'good' thing because she saw how her father; Abu Bakr; viewed Muhammed. And that is manipulation of children, intended or unintended. Anyway, overall, knowing that he is the prophet and If Allah is all knowing, this marriage should not have happened. Of course this will have to meaning to you if your conscience is so buried in bias, that you don't even see the fallacy in this? One of my first uncomfortable moments as a female was when I was 10 years old and I went over to my new Muslim school friend’s house. Her father who was in his 50’s at the time, kept looking at me with what I would label today as “lustful eyes”. He would keep staring up and down my body every time he saw me walk by, as I would follow my friend around. Every time I would visit he would come up to me to hug me and it always felt gross. Thankfully nothing more ever happened, her mother was always around somewhere in the house. I just remember feeling extremely uncomfortable around him, like I wanted to hide myself away from his sight.
calling people 'islamophobes' is the 21st century way of saying 'enemies of islam'. they know people are way more sensitive nowadays so they have to discard such words to fit in
The excuse I’ve often heard is - well Henry the 8th married young girls. Like it even matters what that discussing pig did in past history. Because that is exactly the difference I’m allowed to curse and show my disgust of Henry but not Mo. And no one today in modern times thinks Henry is the perfect man to emulate
Ah yes. Henry VIII, who we have a little rhyme to remember the fate of his wives: divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. Plus he cheated on all of them. But for clarity, here are their ages at their wedding: Catherine of Aragon - 20, Anne Boleyn - 32, Jane Seymour - 28, Anne of Cleves - 25, Catherine Howard (youngest) - 17-19, Catherine Parr - 36. So he mostly married older women by modern fundie Christian standards. Only two of the brides would have been young enough for the average fundie and none of them would have been young enough for Mo apparently.
It’s funny, but I’ve heard apologists for grape and child abuse make claims like that. _“She seems fine now, successful even, so clearly there’s no harm done”._ As a survivor of grape and child abuse, for a long time I was afraid of becoming happy and successful in adulthood because it might allow my abusers to make such claims. As if becoming successful in adulthood will make them think that they didn’t ruin my life, or worse, thinking they made me better. I had to stop watching when he said Aisha had reached a universally accepted mark of maturing from childhood to adulthood. The first period bleed doesn’t turn a girl into a woman, and capable of marriage. It is infuriating that this is okay in islam, millions of people believe this is justified. It terrifies me for all the young girls in this world. I have always seen Muslims as peaceful, friendly people and in need would always choose to as a hijabi woman for help and the more i learn about islam the more that changes. It isn’t true that people dislike (yes, not hate) islam from the get go, at least not for me. Its very sad.
I think its very helpful that you speak arabic since im presuming you're of middle eastern descent. Me personally I don't find the aspect of religion or no religion that important, just live your life but day to day I do live as an atheist as god isn't in my head.
He says we don't have any people criticizing Mohammed before the modern era which is so untrue. We have records from Eulogius of Cordoba in the 9th century to Petrus Alfonsi in the 11th century to Ricoldo da Monte di Croce in the 13th century all the way to Martin Luther, the Protestant Reformer himself in the 16th century. All of them criticized Islam and specifically used Mohammed's marriage to Aisha as an attack on the moral failings of Islam. This is not a modern attack.
Don’t they not see how perverse this whole subject is. Don’t they know that it makes them look foolish and stupid trying to defend this horrible act against humanity!
They r trying to justify marrying a child by saying its the norm during that time. This means their prophet is just for that time only, not for all time
It was NOT the norm on the Arabian peninsula in the 7th century. Muhammad got away with it, because he *said* Allah allowed it in his case. He really pulled his followers on this will of Allah con game.
Hello Omar Suleiman or any other Islamic apologist. This is NOT a case of so called Islamophobia or insulting a prophet. Go back to your fundamental teachings where Islam is founded on. Mohamed WAS the one and only chosen man, amongst all humanity, by Allah for all humanity to eternity, and supposed to the one and only role model. Hence your claim using whataboutism or finding excuses that this happened 14OO years ago, perfectly aligned with customs and traditions of the time does not hold any water. And also do not forget Mohamed was hand-picked to *rectify all errors* [textual, religious, customs, traditions] of mankind, past, present and future, but he himself engaged in such activities, and much much more, which are very unpleasant to contemporary decent society we live in. Therefore one has to remember such acts are NOT welcomed in modern, secular, progressive societies. I could write this so as I live in a secular liberal society which never been based on Islam, Islamic culture or traditions but all man made laws. I am writing this only 9 min into the video. This is one of many reasons I did not or never ever embrace Islam to my life, yet we humanists have all rights to critique [do not call it Islamophobe or insulting a prophet] today and as long as human race exist. You repeated the phrase ''our prophet'' many times, yes he is your prophet and not everyone's legitimate prophet hence your argument is based on your own feelings than any objective reasoning. Your foundation for the argument is fundamentally flawed. If you do this in a high school essay in a secular society what you would get is big ''O'' [zero].
These Modern secular so called progressive societys think 16 year old females are little babies. Modern day humans think keeping females as children for as long as possible some how make them moral. It does not make you moral it just makes you look like blatant liars and pseudo moralist. I truely despise people who think 14-17 year olds are little innocent children.
i don’t know what’s worse between an apologist that deny every hadith in existence about aisha’s age and make up a number to lessen criticism or apologists that blatantly defend pedophilia
I think it comes down to the person: A man who has a close and loving relationship with his Mum, and thus respects and empathises with women... Yet remains a devout Muslim, will go to mental gymnastics to reject hadith where Aisha was like "I was playing with dolls because I was 9 when Muhammad consummated the marriage". Then men who don't have a close relationship with women & don't empathize with girls but aren't malicious will sort of pretend that Aisha was somehow developed as an adult woman accepting Aisha's own hadith of her age. Now this is something pedos say to groom their victims (you're so mature for your age) but if you aren't familiar with women as people you could kinda pretend that this one 9 year old had the mind and body of a 19 year old. Men who don't like women will just accept Aisha's age and argue that child marriage is totally fine and not harmful to girls. These people suck
it must be very strenuous to say "peace be upon him" as much as this guy does.. if this was a drinking game, using that as a trigger everyone would be blacked out at the end of tthe video.. it occupies more then he's actually saying..
Having to parrot that out all the time, along with all its variants for the other characters, would be enough in itself to prevent me reverting to this religion - and that's before we get to having to defend sex with children.
That was textbook brainwashing tactics! Before addressing her age, he was literally priming the listeners minds with endless reminders of how amazing and important Aisha was. I just wish muslims could open their eyes already!
Christopher Hitchens had once said that the worst crime of religion is that it makes an honest and gentle person to commit and justify heinous crimes just because it was written in a book thousands of years ago.
Aisha being extremely mature for her age or her consent to consummate her marriage with Muhammad will never take away from the fact that she was a child, who are very impressionable, and thus easily exploited. They mimick what they see and hear the adults do in their life. Given her company (her father was Abu Bakr, Muhammad's best friend), it is then not plausible that she was largely influenced by her father? Moreover, how do I not just believe stories of her taking to Islam -- a religion with the goal to dominate other religions, because it inherently believes it is better -- isn’t just Islam trying to be superior, by supporting that even an eight-year-old follower knows without a doubt that Islam was the “true” path (and wanted to convince their grown-up fiancé of this fact)? Realistically, even if Aisha were some child prodigy or had excellent memory, she would have had to be stimulated and apply herself in order to reach and have possessed the absurd level of intelligence attributed to her. I am not sure how she manages to be so witty without formal education, when she isn’t even exercising parts of her brain.
@@LeoMessi_22 dude just stop. Nowhere in Islam does it mention that puberty is a requirement for marriage and intercourse. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Verse 65:4 is very clear that prepubescent girls CAN get married and engage in intercourse. This verse talks about the idda. The Idda is the waiting period a female must wait after a divorce before she's able to get married (and consumate the marriage). The Idda is only applied to marriages that have been consumated "As for your women who have lost hope of menstruation, and in case you have a doubt, the prescribed period (of waiting) for them is three months, as *also for those who have not menstruated yet* . As for those who are pregnant, their prescribed period is until the delivery of the child. God will make things easy for him who is mindful of God" Now so I don't apply my islamophobic misunderstanding to this verse and to avoid you using copy pasted apologetics, let's take a look at the tafseers by some of Islam's greatest scholars Ibn abbas: And for such of your women as despair of menstruation) because of old age, (if ye doubt) about their waiting period, (their period (of waiting) shall be three months) upon which another man asked: “O Messenger of Allah! What about the waiting period of those who do not have menstruation because they are too young?” (along with those who have it not) *because of young age* , their waiting period is three months Ibn kathir: Allah the Exalted clarifies the waiting period of the woman in menopause. And that is the one whose menstruation has stopped due to her older age. Her `Iddah is three months instead of the three monthly cycles for those who menstruate, which is based upon the Ayah in (Surat) Al-Baqarah. see 2:228 The same for the young, *who have NOT reached the years of menstruation* . Their `Iddah is three months like those in menopause. Al-jalalayn: And [as for] those of your women who (read allā’ī or allā’i in both instances) no longer expect to menstruate, if you have any doubts, about their waiting period, their prescribed [waiting] period shall be three months, and [also for] those who have not yet menstruated, *because of their young age* , their period shall [also] be three months

You are right, but that requires a strong protection law for minors , in Islamic law , the law itself is supporting child marriage , there is no ilegall age for marriage, the father has the compelete athourity over his daugther and even when people try to stop the father they will get called out by the family, there is no law to support these defendless children

That's so senseless how he assumes that the issue is the age gap, not the age of one of the spouces, brings up 10 and 12 marriages, and seriously thinks 9 years and 14 years is the exact same level of maturity and psychological development. Wtf.
Because everyone listening to him is in a delusion of being the follower of the righteous religion... They have succumbed their reason to faith propagated by these figurheads... To them Islam is under attack and they are seeking answers to justify the cruelties of their prophet...
To give some perspective as to how naïve it is to point out she was very eloquent (in later life). You may be aware of Joseph Fritzl, a very sadistic creature who locked his daughter in a basement complex and fathered seven children with her. Those grandchildren raised till almost adulthood in this basement and not having developed properly because of it also turned out very well spoken.
I remember the case of real life kidnapping where this child is being kept by a couple and treated like a family but she was repeatedly pregnant by the male captor at a really young age that the captors taught the children she is their sister. At the end she escaped herself once she is a grown up and made a book out of her life and taking care of her children even though it's her captor children. Strong woman but doesn't mean what happened to her is okay
I was literally glued to the screen during the whole video. But this was sooo depressing to watch. How can people revere such a person?. And another thing I find depressing: I like the Arabic language, I like how it sounds and its script, but I just feel that this language will always always be so intertwined with this cult. I fear that for Islam to die, this language would also have to die and that may prove impossible.
Part of why life expectancy was lower was danger in childbirth. You don’t expose children unnecessarily to such dangers or unnecessary dangers (sex could tear them & cause many health issues, including infertility).
Islamaphobes he is making sure this word sticks with the audience. Right from the start he is basically saying it’s not what it seems this relationship between Mohammed and Aisha.

A few years back, a Pakistani politician contracted a Nikah with a girl said to be 14 years of age (yet to be verified, could be younger), in violation of the country’s age limit which is 16 or 18. This is because, where Islamic sharia and the law of the land conflicts, sharia always wins.
Very good critique of Omar Suleiman's lecture. I think Omar covered all the usual excuses that a Muhammadan could use in defending Muhammad. As you pointed, the first 75% of Omar's lecture were filled with straw men arguments and red herrings. The real substance of his argument happened when he first cast dispersions on the claim of some Muhammadans that Aisha was older, a teenager. He also warned his fellow Muhammadans that rejecting sahih hadith was not the way to go. But, alas, Omar Suleiman's defense of Muhammad was that Aisha "was old enough". Why did he not say that at the outset because everything else he said did not address the matter. What a pathetic defense. One thing that I have never seen mentioned in the discussions about this topic is the prescribed iddah for non-menstruating wives. Even if Muhammad did not have a child bride, the eternal Quran, according to Muhammadans, implicitly sanctions marriage and deflowering of prepubertal girls by designating the same iddah in case they are married and divorced.
This presentation could have easily been made into 40 minutes, but he had to drag on and on about unrelated topics. Heck, he spoke more about "islamaphobes" than Aisha.
This whole lecture made my stomach turn. Screw that guy, you're the one REALLY doing God's work, Aladdin. The fact that you're a native Arabic speaker and can debunk these dawah guys in real time is a huge bonus. Its so good to have an Arabic speaking apostate explain quran and hadith for all non-Arabic speakers for years mesmerised and mystified by the message of the miraculous linguistic masterpiece that is the Quran, thank you!
To sum it up: This man does not understand that a child can not consent. What I also noticed personally observing girls in my family environment: They can seem really "mature" mentally when they are prepubescent like 11/12 but then seemingly revert and become very immature once they hit puberty. So the early appearance of "maturity" is basically an illusion and a lot of character development very obviously still has to occur from 13-18 y.o.
Plus maturity that comes from abuse is trauma not actual maturity I was forced to clean house take care of my sibling that made me even more rebellious in the age where people my age are now "mature"
I read somewhere that some bishop or pope hundreds of years ago had a dream that Joseph was old and it was recorded in a Catholic dictionary or something. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Joseph was old. It doesn’t comment in either of their ages. Some Islamic scholar did some calculations & was convinced that Rebecca was three years old. Neither claim has any solid basis, but you’ll hear Muslims spouting it time & again.
the fact itself that he keeps repeatedly refering to a 6 year old child as a woman is vomit inducing enough for me. and yes, his smile/grin has always felt disturbing and uncanny to me as well. apparently I'm not alone in this.
The way he kept saying peace be upon him and May Allah be pleased with her everything single time he mentioned their name gets really annoying after a while
It's amazing how it's the non Muslims and ex Muslims who say how messed up and bad it was for aisha to marry a 50 year old when she was 6 and Muslims who consider her their mother defend this marriage and say that it's okay..
Hello Omar Suleiman or any other apologist. I have one simple question to ask from you, it is so simple that the answer would be either YES or NO, no spin or rhetoric needed. Would you agree a girl should not be given in marriage at any circumstances at the age of 6. Would you agree that a girl should not be con sum mated at any circumstances at the age of 9.
One thing I would like to know for sure is that is there any records of other people of that time that married girls under 10? Like how many? In the hundreds? Or just a few? Then we’ll get a better picture of how common this phenomenon was, not just assumptions like “oh, it was common back then that girls at that age get married”.
One arguable side effect of Aisha is the behavior of Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism. Smith reportedly admired the story of Muhammad and some historians of his life see parallels between the two self-proclaimed prophets. Joseph Smith introduced taught polygamy and married a 14-year-old.
His smiling is intentional, omar suleiman is very charismatic and has been on podcasts or public debates as the representation of islam. He has a series on the life of muhammad that presents him as this sensitive, kind and gentle man....This is how people get pulled into islam, the sugar coating, sanitization, the lying in your face while smiling and repeating "peace be upon him" after talking about literal child abuse.
This guy is seemingly very angry the way he speaks and so creepy the way his smiles. He needs to be watched because he will definitely walki in his prophet footsteps. He and his followers needs to be watched around little girls
Muslims know that this is immoral thats why they have to try so hard to justify it, the smile on his face shows his body language as being very deceptive...
From my experience there are two groups of muslims. The ones that say that yes she was 9 at consumation, and it was fine because she was somehow very mature. Then there is the other camp that claim that she was 18 despite what the Quran/hadiths say, they just cant accept it. It is a huge problem for the muslim community.

What kind of God condones molestation?
its incredibly sad once you take the rose colored glasses off
would you be able to share references to those hadiths?

2. What was the age difference between your grandfather and grandmother? Is it 47+ years?

I don’t think I’ve heard anyone talk about him in positive light 😂😂 Henry was an awful king.
Henry is literally a meme and I doubt he married any 9 year olds. Wasn’t Anne his youngest? And she was like 20

It terrifies me for all the young girls in this world. I have always seen Muslims as peaceful, friendly people and in need would always choose to as a hijabi woman for help and the more i learn about islam the more that changes. My siblings know I'm not a muslim and every now and then they'll bring up some muslim stuff which I can't argue against because I really don't know anything about islam which leads to the age old argument "how can you say you don't believe if you haven't done your research about islam" I've only recently found your channel through your video with genetically modified skeptic and like to hear an atheist perspective of religion.

I don't see what menstruation has to do with being ready to sexual intercourse/marriage. There has to be physical and mental maturity too.
Many women and I would say the period is only the start of physical maturity
@@LeoMessi_22 dude just stop. Nowhere in Islam does it mention that puberty is a requirement for marriage and intercourse. In fact, it's quite the opposite.
Verse 65:4 is very clear that prepubescent girls CAN get married and engage in intercourse. This verse talks about the idda. The Idda is the waiting period a female must wait after a divorce before she's able to get married (and consumate the marriage). The Idda is only applied to marriages that have been consumated
"As for your women who have lost hope of menstruation, and in case you have a doubt, the prescribed period (of waiting) for them is three months, as *also for those who have not menstruated yet* . As for those who are pregnant, their prescribed period is until the delivery of the child. God will make things easy for him who is mindful of God"
Now so I don't apply my islamophobic misunderstanding to this verse and to avoid you using copy pasted apologetics, let's take a look at the tafseers by some of Islam's greatest scholars
Ibn abbas:
And for such of your women as despair of menstruation) because of old age, (if ye doubt) about their waiting period, (their period (of waiting) shall be three months) upon which another man asked: “O Messenger of Allah! What about the waiting period of those who do not have menstruation because they are too young?” (along with those who have it not) *because of young age* , their waiting period is three months
Ibn kathir:
Allah the Exalted clarifies the waiting period of the woman in menopause.
Al-jalalayn:
And [as for] those of your women who (read allā’ī or allā’i in both instances) no longer expect to menstruate, if you have any doubts, about their waiting period, their prescribed [waiting] period shall be three months, and [also for] those who have not yet menstruated, *because of their young age* , their period shall [also] be three months
@@LeoMessi_22
oh well then thank you for being honest and confirming that Islam allows sex with prepubescent girls. Not because they have a delay in their menstruation, but because they are too young to menstruate
@@thenun1846 nice filling in your own wording right..there is not because they are too young.there are generally women who just dont get period...

CPS should be called on any parent who is a child marriage apologist
What an intelligent and calm commentary! Thank you!
I do not think this topic, call it a debate or a discussion will ever end, as it is for the sake of all young helpless girls all around the world, past present and/or future. It is our duty to protect them. Even when they belong to their parents, they [parents] should not be allowed to take any actions detrimental to their [child] lives as they are immature in decision making and vulnerable.
You are right, but that requires a strong protection law for minors , in Islamic law , the law itself is supporting child marriage , there is no ilegall age for marriage, the father has the compelete athourity over his daugther and even when people try to stop the father they will get called out by the family, there is no law to support these defendless children
So to conclude all the yaadi yaadi yaaada about Ayesha he spoke about, according to his logic if a six year old girl is smarter than most adults around, then she should get married to 50+ year old man.... 🤦🏻♂️
Was 9 not 6
@@mahamohammad8557Which is 3+ years younger than most of the other historical examples of child marriage being used.
She was six when she married him. He just didn’t have intercourse till she was nine. He was molesting her before then.
That's so senseless how he assumes that the issue is the age gap, not the age of one of the spouces, brings up 10 and 12 marriages, and seriously thinks 9 years and 14 years is the exact same level of maturity and psychological development. Wtf.
How are these people allowed to spew such utter bullshit and get away with it?? Where is child protection?? Why aren't they questioning this man??
Because everyone listening to him is in a delusion of being the follower of the righteous religion... They have succumbed their reason to faith propagated by these figurheads... To them Islam is under attack and they are seeking answers to justify the cruelties of their prophet...

Nice stream, @Apostate Aladdin but I’m afraid I’m going to have nightmares about that bloke’s creepy smile.

Ergo, they weren’t actually abused. That’s how it works, bro. Just trust me, bro.

This is still happening. A few years back, a Pakistani politician contracted a Nikah with a girl said to be 14 years of age (yet to be verified, could be younger), in violation of the country’s age limit which is 16 or 18. This is because, where Islamic sharia and the law of the land conflicts, sharia always wins.
It's not even been a month and I cannot belive this is the same religion Islam that I knew and followed
The way he keeps saying "Peace be upon him" feels the same way, my OCD makes me repeat a certain sentence in my head
You are an ignorant 😅
This presentation could have easily been made into 40 minutes, but he had to drag on and on about unrelated topics. Heck, he spoke more about "islamaphobes" than Aisha.

Among the many offensive things he says is that he calls Aisha a WOMAN , she was not.
They are so ashamed of their prophet's behavior.
To sum it up: This man does not understand that a child can not consent.
What I also noticed personally observing girls in my family environment:
They can seem really "mature" mentally when they are prepubescent like 11/12 but then seemingly revert and become very immature once they hit puberty.
Where did he get the info about Joseph being 80 when he married Mary?

The problem is they’re not marrying children with children. They’re marrying female children with full grown men.
The other would be problematic, but less so.
One may smile, and smile, and be a villain - Hamlet, William Shakespeare
One thing I would like to know for sure is that is there any records of other people of that time that married girls under 10? Like how many? In the hundreds? Or just a few? Then we’ll get a better picture of how common this phenomenon was, not just assumptions like “oh, it was common back then that girls at that age get married”.
He wasn't a common man, he is a prophet.
No record. This was not common if you look at history of Arabia
i believe the laughter was about making the opponent sound more ridiculous.
Apostate Aladdin thank you, you want truth I like your honesty, keep the good work
You should write a book of all of these points!
He isn't really giving arguments as much as excuses. And really bad ones at that.

Anyone who objected was killed... Islam spread by force, not by love. Age gap isn't the issue, HER age was the issue.
It is a huge problem for the muslim community.
i dont get why muslims dont get bored by the whole "peace be upon him" and the may Allah be pleased with her. It's not healthy.
Mohamed gets 99% of the praise but their god Allah gets only 1%. You can see who is the real god 😂
I don't get bored of knocking on wood, saying "God be with them" when I hear sirens, or other superstitious gestures or sayings. The fear of some punishment drives me to keep doing it even when I try to be rational because my family basically indoctrinated me into it. I don't believe in spirits who would curse me for bragging or angels that wouldn't come to the aid of a person in need without me pointing it out to a god I don't even believe in, but the habit is very difficult to dislodge.
34:30 - I appreciate that you shook your head no, but I couldn’t hear what you said…It would be great to know the ref to that Hadith David Wood often quotes about Aisha saying “‘The Prophet’ struck me in my chest and caused me pain…”
