WOW! Stunning P/U rig!! Hudson, in that post-war-era, had Already gone to the 'Low-Frame' and lowered underbody. The slight Chop, with the Cab-Length Extension (Gee, could've used THAT on my VW 'Caddy' unibody P/U!? Yup!) make the Long Pointed Hood just FLOW into the Cab to the Utilitarian, functional Bed. Overall, that's a 9.8 outa 10 !!! Only, I might not have 'chopped' it as much, and added a bed-cover. Still, I am nit-picking.. Awesome ride, and great to see, up-close and with it's History!
My best friend Jerry had a Hudson pickup when we were young, his was a ex US mail truck. It was tall though like 4x4 with long bed! Hadn’t seen one since
An EXTREMELY cool truck! I have many times thought about converting my Canadian built 39 Packard sedan over to a truck, at least then it would be useful to me..
I'm totally taken with this truck, the style is magnificent. I have not seen anything like it at our local car shows. All the best from Nova Scotia, Canada. 🙂
The main thing in this truck that distracts me from the beautiful work is that shifter. It doesn't fit the truck at all. I understand wanting a modern drivetrain. But at least hide it better. Put a piece of wood or metal trim over the plastic 'PRNDL'. I think the plastic handles and knobs on the seats need replaced with some metal ones too. All the time and money put into the vehicle and that's all I can think about. That being said, the craftsmanship is astonishing. I really love the colors too. I don't mind mixing classic and modern. But it has to be done right. If they fixed these issues, that interior would be perfect
I'm surprised that Dennis doesn't know that Hudson made trucks long before 1946. The Dover was Hudson's first truck in 1929, followed by the Terraplane model, then Hudson trucks until '47.
They chopped and lowered the roof line which looks great but they didn't do the same with the hood...which makes the front look out of proportion 0:03 That hood needs a bit of a sectioning or lowered because it sticks up way too high compared to the 3 inch chop they did on the roof. I doesn't look right. Just my opinion. Beautiful truck otherwise.
He took a rare, beautiful truck, and ruined it. He should have restored it back to original. He's the type of person who'd paint the woodwork in his house.
He did not build it, he bought it that way. That truck would have had like at least a 4.10 or lower rear gear set, so it was a 50 mph truck max.. There is a place for everyone here in this world, even you Stocko Jocko's!
@peterpop-off Just my opinion, which really doesn't matter, I'm not looking for a battle. It's best to keep them original. In 30 years it will be an outdated resomod and worth a lot less. I saw after I posted this, it was restored by someone else.
What an absolutely beautiful truck. I would have traded one of my Corvettes for it too and I’m a die hard Vette man.
I don't believe I've ever seen one of these!
GORGEOUS !
I love a long bed truck and this looks phenomenal. 😎👍
This is exceptional by any standard, love it!
Stunning!
What a beauty ❤
That’s a piece of art😊❤
Very cool 🤙 I just acquired a 49 cadillac flower car. It's huge
wow - one of the coolest, nicest trucks i've ever seen
THIS is an AWESOME package!

What a unique and outstanding build.
The Tesla Cybertruck can't compare to this most elegant style.

Flipping gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

bellefonte the town on the hills!
Just beautiful
Wow that's super fab.
I used to give the Chevy small block so much crap and now that everything is LS swapped I'm kind of nostalgic for the little bastard
Very cool truck
CERTAINLY DID NOT NEED TO CHOP THE TOP ! NICE TRUCK !
Fancy ride 😊
I would love to own something like that, but I'm afraid I would mess it up by using it daily lol
i'd be nervous driving it lots of bad drivers out there
The bad drivers tend to congregate in certain areas, you have to find the roads that nobody drives
That’s unfortunately true,,,not getting better!
Very nice. Dennis...what would have the original powertrain? A flathead of some sort i assume?
Demaciado hermoso ❤
Hell yeah my brother
That SummerTime edition mustang next to it looks nice too. Special edition Foxbodies are cool but I’m an ‘80s kid so…

❤ SWEET ❤ 🏁
The seats look out of place, but otherwise an excellent build

Ohhh you are so beautiful ❤❤❤❤
You couldn't keep this truck on the shelf today
🎉
5:00 Interesting oil gauge. how does it work? is there a strain gauge sending unit at the bottom of the pan?
Non-standard taillights, I think they are Pontiac firebird ('67) lights
Isn't that triangle on the hood ornament a Pontiac logo?
N is that original body style? Cause the bed....or rather the roof looks customized.
Are El Caminos and Rancheros considered to be trucks? Those are what this is like, or vice verse
Pants on fire
That’s my old truck.
It's pretty. But is it really a truck if you can't drive through the mud, and you're concerned about scratching the paint in the bed?
Yeah it’s a truck. Not every truck needs to be a Brodozer. What a weak comment. It’s a show car.🙄
