I've been a long time and early user of Pika, and I gotta say, they have been consistently stepping up their game. It's why I pretty much use them exclusively now, and I was an early beta tester for Runway. The team and community are the two biggest reasons why I've stayed with Pika Labs since I've gotten into all this. And now, their platform is taking a huge leap into the AI video mainstream. The quality and consistency has gotten sooo much better since my first few generations with them, they finally dropped some really cool features that help creators like me really dial in the scenes. And the people there are some of the chillest and coolest people to converse with and learn from. All in all, it's been a great experience top to bottom with these guys and I can't wait to see what's next! I'm proud to be an avid user of Pika Labs and Pika 1.0!!!

@@josefskuratovsky1519 I've already tried it with my novel using Midjourney, but it's not as easy right now. I'm using MJ and when I try to create video from the images, it's close to impossible to get the video to do a specific motion. The same with MJ--nearly impossible to get consistency with characters and their clothes, consistency with environment, and actions. There's a reason why people can only do trailers right now. But in the future, they're going to have to work on very specific solutions to all these problems.

There's lots of people with tons of filmmaking talent that have nowhere to show it. I'm specifically talking about INDEPENDENT FILMMAKERS. We need developers who can take pika labs type ai software to (subscription/free) the next level allowing filmmakers to create feature length projects
You talk about independent filmmakers getting a chance to show their talent. when what you're proposing is cutting out the talent of the actors, singers, directors, prop makers, CGI animators, artists, etc. Look at it from that perspective, not just your "now its easier for untapped talent to shine" LOOK at how many people are going to be effected negatively by ai film generation.
@abugcalledant there's an irony to your reply, I don't know if you're British or maybe American but I applied to the British film Council for funding, in my application I pointed out to them how many jobs I'd create in my project, needless to say they turned me down, infact they turn down more than 95% of applications. I tried the conventional route, so now that's out the window I must look down other roads

If you have no morals why would anyone else, obviously they're not going to care about the workers rights.

The music is so great though. Did you generate the music with AI or did you find it somewhere else? Also, is there an AI that can generate sound effects for the movie? I realize that finding the right sound effects for each scene could be a challenge. Even if we find the right sound effect somewhere, we’d need the sound effect to be the correct length for our scene, or else we’ll be spending a lot of time editing and trying to make our sound effect the length that we need it to be for our scene. It would be cool if there was an AI that could produce the specific sound effect that we need for each scene, and that also gives us the flexibility to choose the exact length of time that we want the sound effect to last.
