Speed meter actually flashed a 24 after you turned away and he passed the sign 6:50.
Yeah saw that as well. Good job Wil!
I saw it
Me too
I saw it but I had to slow the speed so I can see just in case
Yea I saw it too
I love how Nick reminds us that sign cost $3000 every time he rolls it out 😂😂
Why not it 3000 dollars
Could’ve bought a speed gun for a 100 bucks
@@nikesbeast but prolly isnt as accurate tbh
Milking it for all its worth.. I don't blame him lol
@@DailyOrah
Hell yeah, he's gotta get a return on that investment, lol. Plus, since it was recorded once, it can easily be added to the beginning of the videos for contextual purposes, which reduces editing time!
I love how Nick always has such a positive influence on people and how encouraging he is to people who are newer to fitness and sprinting, no judgement from him ever
he is an inspiration
He really is isn't he! Such a great human
The guy who got 23 when Nick was celebrating it hit 24 LOL
yep
I saw that too
When the first guy already hits 19, you know there are gonna be some fast humans later in the video
It was quite disappointing though considering that guy ran a 4:03 mile
Humans?!?! Are you a robot
@@user-sw3er4dk6k pure endurance build lol
@@user-sw3er4dk6k he’s a distance runner

This is the last Speed Sign video for awhile. This has been such a fun series, but I got something even better planned for you next week! Hit me up on Instagram instagram.com/nicksymmonds
Hi
@@chissanchez3022 hello!
How could I do a challenge without being in that age range?
Love the vids Nice keep it up
great video
Are we just going to ignore the fact that my man casually ran 10.2 like it was nothing
Ikr he looked like he was holding back
That was amazing.
I know like...Wtf. Just casually run 10.2. He would beat all the wide receivers in the NFL without even warming up🤣🤣
IFKRRRR
I doubt he run 10.2, if you consider he's PB is 10.73 with +3.6 wind and 10.82 with legal wind, both at age 18. He's almost 25 now so I'd say maybe he can a do a solid 10.4....(just guessing)
The guy who won actually hit 24 but you didn’t notice so I’m glad he won in the runoff! Amazing videos. I’m 8 months late but I’m watching so many of your vids everyday 😂
😂😂 same
I like how it turned into personal rivalary more than the money.. Love these speed post videos.
Crazy talent here. A lot of these athletes are at or 1 second off the world championship standard. Kudos to you Nick for giving these men and women some recognition, I’m sure without this video I would never know there are so many runners right on the cusp of going to the Olympics but not quite there. It’s amazing to me that in large part the same few runners are able to keep making it to the big dance when there’s so much depth right behind them. Really speaks to the talent of a runner at the top to know that there are so many competitors within a couple seconds just waiting for him to have an off race and take his place.
1 second is a big margin for these runners
Wil London was on the last Olympic track team and has world records from the world championships…. :)
He ran a 10.2 in the 100m. That's just a half a second off of the elite. For reference, nobody has run 100m in 10.2 seconds from my country. Ever.
1 second is a HUGE difference in the 100 bro
Wait… a 400m runner just casually ran 10.29 from a standing start??
Goodness, with training and the proper gear, that means he could legitimately become a sub-10 sprinter!
@@kkop4982
Yeah, that seems about right.
@@kkop4982 10.2 hand time would actually be like be like 10.5 or 10.7
Just look at Fred Kerly! A world class 400 guy turned 100 and 200 runner. He's the new world champion in 100. Nice job Fred!
Well he ran from a standing so you add like 1 second to the time but yeah he could definitely do sub 10
@@RhoyaWRLD waaaay back in olden days us distance runners would occasionally get in sprinters blocks just to see what it was like. I still remember how uncomfortable and odd it felt. They work though.
Loved this type of video Nick! When you get the young up and coming athletes to race super cool and they know you already!
6:49 he hit 24 MPH it slowly faded away
i was gonna comment that, good eye.
@@braidencoryelll i was going to commet that to
i was also gonna comment that
OK so I wasn't the only one who saw it
I don’t see it
I'm going to be a junior and sprinted track since 7th grade. I'm training for my first xc season and love watching your videos, so motivating running miles on the treadmill! You're a huge inspiration Nick!
None of these people are as fast as my reaction time when clicking this video
thanks for being early!!
Omg, this video was SSSOOO good but all your videos are awesome. I love the competition, the motivation and encouragement ❤
This was a lot of fun to watch! Professional runners make this really interesting.
i never tought id enjoy watching ppl run tbh but i love these videos its actually insane how fast ppl are:)
I love this guys positivity, He could make you run through a brick wall. He must be an awesome coach!
Thanks for this video. I don't specialy run but I train myself at the gym and lately I'm having a hard time finding inspiration to go due to the amount and results from exams. This video for some reason really motivated me to hit the gym tomorrow!
Loved this video. All that 800 talent in 1 spot. Those guys probably look up to you like a God for running 1:42.
HAH
Look up the 3k WR
1:42 is a very different from 1:42.95
I am not a runner but this video was awesome. These people are really fast and the runoff at the end was great. Awesome energy by Nick. 👍
Nick your video is on point my man!!! Keep them coming!!
Love the videos dude this one looks so dope!!!! Love it maine come through maine sometime I know it’s a distance but I’ll be waiting!
Really nice videos Nick, congratulations! I would be glad if you mentioned the speed in km/h also. You know, for the rest of the world who watches your content!
the formula will always be Mph x1.61
Pure awesomeness!!
Best vibes on UA-cam. Love the content my brother, keep it up!
loving all of your vids
All the girls absolutely killed it, but Mallory is an absolute beast!
absolute hot sexy beast at that.
Speedy!! I wonder how the sign would compare to a radar gun as far as accuracy.
Been waiting for this!!
That sign is the gift that keeps on giving I love watching people run around trying to break records
Love you’re videos so much. They inspire me. I will go get some run gum stuff.
I want people like Nick in my place too, most positive influencing videos I ever seen
YH
That mallory is shredded and buff. Deserves the cash. xd
Love your videos and content keep up the great work your amazing.
You made me love track and field
YH
Thought I was fast, so was not that impressed with these guys and girls running 19 or 20mph in Nick's videos. For me, fast meant 22 and over. So I borrowed a friend his watch/monitor to prove my point to myself: 17mph! That hurts soooo bad...
Why did you assume you were that fast 😂😭
Spiked up at the track?
17mph means you got to a top speed of 3:31/mile pace. If you held that for 40 yards, it would be a 4.8 40 yard dash, but without a running start, you're likely well above 5 seconds, slower than most NFL offensive linemen. You've got to be an explosive, near- world class athlete to reach these speeds.
😂😂😂
Damn bro just work at it. I run a 4.7 40 and top out somewhere around 23mph. Hill sprints and 10 meter flies are your friend…
banger vid man. you're crushing the content
I love your energy … keep making videos
The last guy hit 24 miles per hour impressive
I love the time and effort you put into these videos there entertainment and funny and cool keep up the good work
That was just cool as hell. I love how you guys all knew who each other were. The track world is such a small family.
Love the videos keep the good work up
Damn he actually run 24. Deserved it. 6:49. I think i saw 24 flashing at the last moment.
Awesome
Yes finally , I have been waiting for this video for soooooo long! Finally it’s out 😁
Been waiting for this one
With a proper start and spiked up, going all out Will could definitely get below 10 seconds at least, not to mention he ran 10.2 with ease and looked like he was slowing down at the end
6:50 is it just me that saw the 24 mph?
i saw it to
I commented that
yes finally you uploaded
these speed radar videos are the best 🤣
Insane energy all around, loved it
You should bring this to florida one day. They got Kerley, Lyles, Bromell, Bracy, Knight and all the other fast sprinters training down there
faster than my dad leaving to go get the milk smh...
I really think that you should do a discus event against your subscribers!
Mr. Symmonds, I'm a young female runner who just had my first year of track and field last spring. I'm trying to beat the school record. That would mean dropping less than 30 seconds from a 5:50 mile which hasn't been timed since last spring, to less than a 5:27 mile, which is the current record for my school. I train myself alone on my treadmill. I don't do any fancy track things or clubs, just my school team snd my year round conditioning I began last August. Do you have any tips for me?
Run outside and run more!!
Keep up the good work
WHO TF CARES
I’ll advice you to do jump rope and long jogs. And also to do loads of core exercises. Core strength is essential to all athletes regardless of what they do.
@@iangarza990 Thanks so much! I'll be sure to go outside more, as my feet and shins are used to a soft treadmill and get shin splints if I move to hard surfaces to quickly. Thanks for being so kind!
@@micaiahsobers6728 you may not care (and I don't blame you), but sometimes Nick helps people who who ask, and I think he likes to as well. I have big dreams and work hard, and I'm always looking for a bit of help, so I asked him. I hope you have a wonderful day, and I'm praying God puts a smile on your face and joy in your heart today!
How in the world some normal people have gotten 23 and 24 in previous videos. I guess people can reach the top speed but struggle to maintain that speed but an athlete can reach the top speed and keep it stable.
Because that machine is not very precise, in this video you have seen pro women running the same speed as pro males
Great video keep it up!!
my dad used to do track i luv your vids it reminds me when my dad mentions him doing track he was allstate in florida his best time was 10.25 he didnt want to do track but his friends knew he was fast and forced him❤🔥i love yours vids thx for reading this
The highest speed shown through all speed sign videos is 24mph set by Semon from a different video
Actually in this video someone's got 24mph... You need to rewatch it
@@_o_69 I know. I watched it twice and noticed it slightly formed the number 24
I saw somebody hit the 24 now
Whoever is reading this…Slow down, you’re doing fine! You can’t be everything you want to be before your time💓.It’s going to work out 💯
Shout out billy joel
Yes sir 👏 🙌 🙏 King Kobra
From the UK as a sprinter love this kind of content !!!
man I'm addicted in your videos! ha ha who loves physics, loves athletics! keep up your excellent work!
Will actually hit 24 when you turned around nick, around the end of his run if you slow it and look you can see when nick turns around it turns to 24.
So far the fastest is Semon Onwo with 24 mph… Nick how about you invite him back so he can compete against these guys or even against faster ones?
🏃♂️
Actually, the fastest one is Michael Scott with 31 mph.
@@aekara1987 was it legit? Because even Bolt couldn’t run beyond 27 mph.
@@Joeyy31 of course. There is video proof of it. It's on UA-cam.
