Any flash hider comparison test that doesnt include the a2 flash hider is one I wont even consider. The A2 is dirt cheap and often gets left out of tests for that very reason. But it genuinely outperforms a large percentage of flash hiders WHILE being a decent compensator to boot. Every single flash hider needs to be compared against rhe a2 by default.
@@Protectiveedgetraining3 prong minimized or eliminate ring depending on the angles of design. 4 prongs ring but hide flash better. Shooting 4 prong more lessens the ring on some designs.
@@joeeoj6187 my 4 prong surefire rings a lot I’m hoping it will decrease with time. But it’s so bad sometimes I cant always hear the steal ring when hit at some distances.

No. Suppressor is slowing the gas anyway. Just run the suppressor

I think mostly because the more popular flash hiders do double duty as suppressor mounts - is there an A2 flavor that does the same?

What’s amazing is how we perceive the flash. It’s only visible for a short bit but that’s all it takes. Real world hide the flash

You notice any ringing from the 3 and 4 prong?
With the Surefire 4 prong, yes, very noticeable; but with others (Surefire Warcomp or Dead Air 3 prong), I didn't notice any ringing.
I’ve been told all pronged flash hiders have a ringing to them. So far that seems to be true for me. Some ring more then other though

Have you tried the bcm mod 6? Im curious about it but i cant find any reviews.
I haven't. The BCM mod 0 came with the BCM upper, while for the rest of the muzzle devices can mount suppressors.
Does the A2 actually work well as a suppressor mount?
