    Outstanding! As a Spyder hopeful, this is the first video I've seen that laid everything out like this! You have done an incredible service to those of us who just don't know yet. Very perceptive, and extremely well done. You have provided much fuel for the fire! Thank you so much.

    It’s so true about how much peripheral gear that you accumulate. I must have six helmets.

    I am in the market for a new Spyder...so I have been binge-watching all videos on UA-cam. I really enjoyed your video about the gear. I love the shortie cover for on the road. Makes lots of sense, easy to pack....not too much space. Watching from Halifax!

      TA L, thanks for both your comments. We have not tried leather (yet). We are just starting our 4th season so when new riding gear is needed anything is on the table. Comfort is paramount. I hope your Spyder search goes well, any questions, just ask. I appreciate your interest in our channel and now that riding season is ramping up there will be more content coming. All the best from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.

    Now that's what I call a nice set-up. You ought to be able to travel very comfortably with this set-up. Ride dafe! From Missouri, USA.

    Good info on some great products. Nice setup on the Spyder as well as the Ryding Gear. Video equipment seems to be enough to put nice videos. Nicely Done. Thanks for sharing. Keep on Spydering. 😎.

    I have that same cover with the cloth on the wing shield l have a1995 gold wing .For 26 years I must have Sode every stitch on that thing that had unraveled. I went through a whole Spoll of thread keep that together. And I have no tairs in it. In the garage I kept it off but when I go shopping to work or any place else I always put the full cover on. my paint still looks new. I payed $ 100.00 I still use it.

      any jacket that is perforated Or like the one you have is wonderful in high heats. Keeps the sun from burning you and has the air to flow through it. The only time that I will wear leather if it's perforated. Other than chaps.

      The reason she couldn't find any is because they really didn't make any for women. They are coming out with a lot more for women and guys now I've been trying to get a couple of people online to go ahead and try them out and then leave were they got them from. Because it's so hard for women to find Motorcycle clothing.

    I have full cover on my 2018 F3 Ltd w/ f4 23 inch windshield. Love it. Gonna get half cover for traveling.

      The half cover is great also, and it very compact in the bag it comes in.

    Have you tried leather in the fall/colder weather? I find on my sportbike, I stayed pretty warm in leather. I find lady riding gear is made for skinny minnies'. I have bought men's pants and had them tailored in at the waist.

    Nice video I'm looking at getting an F3 or F3s soon. Just picked up my ls2 valent II blackout helmet. Get to know that you can fit a cardo headset in it. Picking up little by little my stuff.

      We found the helmets do take a bit of breaking in before they are really comfortable. But after that we are very happy with them. They are very quiet and have a great viewing area. Thanks very much for your interest in the channel.

    Yes like you I have collected a load of gear over the years for previous cars I've driven and now I am set for life in my present car, what to do with all these redundant bits and pieces - Car Accessory sales I hear you thinking and yes normally I'd agree but as this present virus sweeps the world, no one seems interested. Cheers for the update as over here in Scotland one day I intend buying either a Spyder Rt Ltd or a Ryker - maybe in latter 2021?

    Thank you for the video and equipment review... notice this was your second windshield replacement from the OEM one, so is the F4 better than the show chrome model that was 9 1/2” wider and 12 1/2” taller ...what are differences ... searching to replace our OEM sports shield on our 2021 F3 limited. Thank you again

    • @BikeBoatandTravel
      @BikeBoatandTravel  3 роки тому

      Shortly after replacing the OEM windshield with the Show Chrome we noticed spider cracks forming around some of the fasteners and returned it. The mounting method for the F4 was much more robust utilizing metal plates at the mounting points. It also can be cleaned using ordinary glass cleaner or soap and water. The F4 was significantly more expensive than the Show Chrome for me as I had to get it shipped to Canada from USA, but it has been worth it.

      Around here we call that Armour Stone. It is a natural stone that is mined from local quarries.
