- So this is my Favorite waste of money! This is at the top of the list of camera gear I don't need! In this video I talk about camera gear that's important and why I don't need this gear. Buying camera gear that's important is tough to qualify but you have to think about if you will actually use it and is it worth it! This is one piece of gear that I love but honestly, this gear is too much. Here is my Edelkrone JibOne Review, and here are the reasons you don't need it. This thing is the main reason why I use a camera slider.

Hey! I love the way you talk, explain and share (honestly) your thought about (whatever) you're talking about. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!! Much love!!
THANK YOU for this video. I have been so on the fence. I don’t think the footage even looks as perfectly smooth as I was expecting, but this info is helpful
I was on the fence, and you made the most sense!! Grateful! Subbed!!! Thanks bro
Hi Chris, thanks for the great video. I plan on using a JibOne in a studio setting for product videography, so it will always be setup in the same place with the same camera. I hope it will speed up my workflow but I can totally see your point.
Just found your channel. Absolutely love it. Glanced and saw your sub count holy fuck your quality is on par with million sub channels. Nice work keep going all love. (Also I wanted to buy one of these and you saved me a grand cheers 🍻) Honestly I watched many of your videos before I even saw your sub count I figured it was in the millions. Excellent job. Seriously.
Thank you so so much!! Maybe one day!!!
I keep trying to find a reason to buy this, there's too many negative points about it but it's just so cool, I think this video will do it for me! :)
Thanks for sharing your experience. Best of luck to you.
Man i been eyeing this thing for awhile. I love jibs
It's incredible! I need to use it more!!
Love the admission, I did the same thing with their earlier products, really cool, but not quite there. So I built my own MoCo Rig.
There's something special about the aesthetic of your videos. Looks dope af!
Love your honesty!
Honesty over everything!!
Do you have a favorite waste of money? Any gear that you rushed into?
My came tv rig was biggest waste of money
I'm retired and am shooting for my UA-cam channel. My budget for my hobby doesn't allow me to buy gear that will be seldom used. Nice jib, but to short to be of much use I think. Good show ...
My slider has never left my house:-) I tricked myself into thinking it was going to be the answer to my dreams. In reality it was just another bit of kit to think about. Also, the slider will probably mean bringing a tripod too. Basically, if I can't carry everything in my rucksack it stays at home. If it takes away from my spontaneity, it generally stays at home too. My gimbal took a while for it to became more of an integrated part of me.
@@arhon888 Agree totally. I do use my gimbal a lot.
I have a bonus check coming in 2023 at my job and I plan on purchasing this device. So excited to purchase it...
Man good looking out with this !!
Here to help!
What an honest review. I will suscribe just for that!
Very useful info; thank you.
So perfect guidance.
Keep up the good work bro!
Thank you so much!!
I love your transparency brother
Always here to help!
To be honest, that's me with the gimbal. I always end up just going handheld 'cos it's quick and easy. GImbal looks great but the time it takes just makes it impractical for most of my paid work...
Am staying to this channel next year time like this we are in thousands 🤩🥳🥳🥳🥳
Okay, so you sold me on it. Im moving into oroduct photography, and this in the home studio is it! Im getting their whole set up. Its like $6k, to do mid 6 figure jobs, thats a bargain.
Great video! Which slider do you use?
I am using the Edelkrone Slider Long v5
Just curious whats the ideal weight capacity you look for in a tripod for your rig? Well...for your better investments 😅
Heaviest rig I have is like 15lbs! So just more than that haha
I current use the GH08
Hi Chris. How fast Can it go/move? All the videos on YT shows only super slow movements. Thanx
Shiny eye syndrome...haven't heard that one before but, in >50 years of photography, I have to plea guilty. The JibONE is a great piece of gear.
if I do the same movement with my gimbal pretty slowly and shoot at 120fps and add some warp stabilization in post, won't I get exactly the same movement?
I say about 98% , sometimes there are very small differences
May I ask, what is the max speed at which it can move from one position to another?
I have a very specific use case for it in studio. So we’d set up once and let it do that thing week in / week out.
It's not insanely fast by any means! But I'm not sure how to quantify that for you!
@@ChrisFranklinJr I guess we could always speed up the footage when I think about it
So how much time you need to Set this up?
20 Minutes!

I need help choose a camera for both photo and video, will be getting
into wedding and events photography. My budget is around $2.3k, I live
in US. should I go with a73, xt4 or lumix s5? photos will be my 70%+
work tho. a74 is not quite in budget and just body is waste with no good
lens. xt4 will give me an open budget to go with 35 f2 or and other
prime. Im not looking to get complete setup with 2.3k just a body and
maybe** 2 lens?
A7iii is my go to! It's the most versatile in my opinion!
@@ChrisFranklinJr I went with a7r3a with Tamron 28-75 f2.8 g2 version
Watching this makes me so happy I canceled my order to use the cash for my down payment on my Tesla. Yet, I still want it!!😅
Tesla is waaaaayyyy more worth it!! Lolol
Lol 😂
Bottomline... just buy it to impress rich client.
FACTS! It actually helps with that 😂
Mount it to the slider...
That would be insanely cool! Lol
Simple solution Chris: just start doing more product work 😂
LOL! TRUUUUUU!
Well see if you can repeat it taking beer out of your fridge? Or balance a plate with a 12 pack of beer on it when you need it to bring it up to your hand? BTW…where is the video of you putting it up for sale??????
LOL! I love this! And no sale here, I love mine! Just need to use it more!
You´re great, like I already said :-))))) ....takes 40 minutes to set up.......👍 You need a roadie :-) I don´t like your videos,...I love them!!!!
I'll take it off of your hands for $10 bucks.... and throw in $10 for shipping :-)
Hmmmmm! You drive a hard bargain!
