Killer Video! I have been waiting for something that can power everything at once instead of dealing with so many individual batteries. Cheers
Appreciate the comment 🤝
@@TomasVillegas Do you know if there is a height restriction that the jibone and pan pro can’t go? The reason I ask is because I plan on creating music videos and would like some of my shots to be a bit higher. Thanks again. 🔥
Thanks, I know this is an older video but it was of great help. Fedex just delivered my Power module, two V-mount batteries and a charger! I got so frustrated 3 days ago when my batteries started dying one after the other while I was trying to do some macro photography! Enjoyed the info.
The power module is a fantastic and helpful addition to this kind of setup for sure. Thanks for watching 🤝
this was exactly what I was looking for. excellent.
Thanks for watching 🤝
Great detailed and helpful review 😃 thanks so much 😋
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching 🤝
Me gusto mucho este video. Me pudieras decir que accesorios utilizas para asegurar el monitor sobre el JibONE v2. Felicidades!
Great video Tomas. Just ordered the kit and Watson battery based on this video. Would love to know how you attached your Ninja V. I am sure it is a work of art you created.
Thanks again!
Thanks for the suggestion, I might put something together for a video.
Hello. Nice review. Good insights. You mind me asking how you're rigging your Ninja to the JibOne? Cheers.
I'm using an XTender monitor mount. I did a video on XTender awhile back. 👍
Amazing and informative video thanks , may I ask what tripod are you using ?
Linked in the description 😉👊
Hello, I could not quite understand what is that thing thst you attracted the battery to, so thst it could power the bundle. Thanks
Great video Tomas! Thank you, btw I don't know if you mentioned it but how long does that battery last with your setup? Haha or have you even drained it down all the way yet?!
I haven't been able to drain it yet. This battery specifically has a lot to give and it seems never ending 😂
@@TomasVillegas Wow!! lmao!
Thanks Tomas; your video is still useful. Wondering if you are recording or just monitoring to your Ninja and are you now using the monitor & control app for the Sony cam?
Using the Ninja to record ProRes LT. Makes my editing go smoother. 👍
Thanks for the comment.
@@TomasVillegas Thanks … have you tried to monitor & control app and if so can you set focus points on it? It’s too bad the Ninja does allow for touch focusing.
You say you haven't been able to drain it in a shoot, but that doesn't help too much. Does it run down to less than 50% after your shoots? Do you charge it after every shoot? How often are you shooting? How long do your shoots typically last? I'm looking to purchase the 50wh version of the battery as it's cheaper, lighter, and smaller. But knowing the draw of your full kit (Pan Pro, Jib One, HeadPlus, and FocusPlus) would help immensely. Thank you!
I shoot my broll 3-4 hours at a time while running a Ninja V off of it.
It's a great accessory, but I can't for the life of me understand the design choice for attaching it to a tripod. The 'cold-shoe' is really odd, as I don't see using that for anything. I would have liked a v-mount (female) plate so I can attach it to another v-mount plate and clamp... or even rods to use the adapter on a camera rig, making it useful for more than just Edelkrone gear.
Hy Thomas, thanks for your recommendation, is it possible to run the Power module only with an adapter? without the battery? I. always work inside, so I don't see an advantage of a battery (?)
I don't see why you couldn't. You'll just need a good V- or Gold-mount power adapter and it should work.
Just the video i was after!
Thanks for your detailed review Tomas,
Just wandering what has been your battery usage comparising when you moved from the LPE6 battery setup to the VM battery setup?
I personally just dont like how there are so much cables hanging around
It's been night and day. I had knockoff LPE6 batteries and this VM powers me for ages. The wires take some getting used to, but I came from Rhino so it's not that big of an adjustment for me.
@@TomasVillegas I have like 15+ LpE6 batteries as all my camera at Canon system so that’s why I was considering that route but I do like the 1 VM battery option as it is one less component I need to think about when setting up
Got my power module recently, just wired up. How long can you use this setup before you need to replace the battery? Thanks for there great video.
I haven't been able to kill my battery during a shoot. The battery lasts a long time.
@@TomasVillegas great, that’s great to know. Thank you
does anyone make a dummy V-mount battery that plugs into 120V power so you don't even need a battery?
how did u attached the monitor to the jib? thanks
In the middle of the jib there's a coldshoe mount. That's where I mount the monitor. 👍
Ciao, just a question, how can you control the Pan Motor and the Head Plus together?
I have just bought the bundle but when I try to connect everything, the App says I can connect just one pan device.
Hope you can help me.
Sounds like a firmware issue. If that's not the case definitely reach out to edelkrone support. 👍
@@TomasVillegas thanks for your answer. I have another question, Yesterday i found an article in the Edelkrone's FAQ that says "The Pan Module for JibONE cannot be paired with the HeadPLUS." (This article was updated 24 days ago)
Now, my question is, how do you paired all those things together without problem?
Can you list me the device you use to connect them together?
I just tried with Edelkrone app on Android but is impossible to replicate the same exact movement more than one time and it's hard to have the two movements work at the same time.
Thanks for the help.
have you ever experienced jitter or extreme shaking with your jibone? I purchased the jibone + Head Pro + Pan Pro - spent $2700 and the device is jittery. the footage is unusable and I need to get in contact with them because at this point I just have a $2700 hunk of metal that angers me everytime I look at it.
It happens sometimes. But not often. You definitely need to touch base with their support.
I will say it takes some practice getting the hang of the gear.
How mutch time you can run the hole sistem with one battery?
I haven't been able to kill the battery in a shooting session. It last a long time.
When I use the focus plus pro for zoom in and out function the zooming is very choppy, not smooth. Does anyone else have this problem and would be able to assist me in knowing how to fix it? THANKS!
I haven't had that issue. I'd reach out to Edelkrone support, they're really helpful. 👍
@@TomasVillegas Hi, thanks for your response! Yes, I reached out to Edelkrone and I returned my device for fixing, and then when it came back it was still doing it, so they sent me a new one, but it is STILL not zooming smoothly. Do you have any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong?
@@jasonblairlewis definitely sounds like it's your lens then.
@@TomasVillegas ohhh
@@TomasVillegas Ahh, any ideas on how to fix the lens?
So what about app issues connecting entire thing. There is any as 2 years ago reviews are like really bad
I haven't had issues 🤷♂️
@@TomasVillegas good to know thanks for the answer
