Ah Nepal the maddest most crazy place, exhausting, scary and fun. Never was I so ill, frustrated, amazed - what a country. To visit is a must for every traveller, enjoy.
Just two videos into your trip and you're already making me want to buy a ticket to Nepal! It looked nerve wracking but those are the kind of things that make great memories to look back on in the future. I'm so jealous and can't wait to see more!
Guy's! What a wicked vid👏👏👏. That was intense to watch. I was nervous for you. What an adventure you're on, I envy you. Can't wait for the next chapter.
Was going to say, seemed pretty much like every Himalayan road trip. Though, if they'd caught the service bus they'd have been standing up at least half the way😂
I agree, we were there over thirty years ago and the trip to Pokhara remains clear in my mind, the rocks used as brakes, the assistant that had to keep the radiator topped up,sheer drops, road works, crazy drivers, weevil infested chocolate bar and we also had to wait & watch while the army tried to retrieve the deceased from a coach accident. The walk in the Annapurna’s was worth every mile of the trip though.Enjoy the experience as it is like no other.😊
LIVING BEING IS OUR RACE, MANKIND IS OUR RELIGION, HINDU,MUSLIM,SIKH,CHRISTAIN, THERE IS NO SEPARATE RELIGION ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is the father of all souls that JESUS, MOHAMMAD, GURU NANAK, VEDH was telling in BIBLE, QURAN, GURU GRANTHA SAHEB
Yes was Nepal 1996,Langtang Valley tea house trek, then Gosomkun lake. Amazing to see how locals lived above 10,000 ft. Tea house beside site of Thai plane crash. Wife walked 4hrs to get wood, then 4hrs home. Cooking only no such thing as warm water to wash! Memories yes Memories!
we will be uploading a little more frequently for a while (possibly the whole time we are in Nepal) there is so much to film, just need to try to keep up with the editing
Honestly, my anxiety levels just watching this are so high, but I am so pleased you made it, eventually! Wow….what a trip. Can’t wait to see next video. Look after yourselves!!
That bus ride!!!! I was so scared and I wasn’t even on that bus! This adventure is truly amazing and so happy you posted another video this week. Thank you! Always sending you both good vibes and love. 🌸❤️🇺🇸
I went hiking to Bhaagey Falls in Mailung, Rasuwa. There, I met a large group of Americans who told me they were going on a Langtang trek for about 20 days. I'm sure you'll cross paths with them, but the weather has been brutal these days. Typically, the weather is pleasant during the Dashain festival.
Bringing back wonderful memories for me from 1999 when I was there for two months doing the Anapurna circuit. Keep this up guy's keep showing the reality. Love what you are doing.
And now imagine this in the early 90is... Go on with the trip and enyjoy it! I did a 2 days bus ride in east africa in 92, and the bus had 5 seats in every row... And some people simply stood the trip, and even we white got kids to sit on our knees to help them. Bus stopped at sunset, was not allowed to drive during night, streetfood, sleeping in the side of the street, moving on next morning, getting out of the bus because the engine was to weak to get up the hill, walking down, because the breaks did the same... The trip back we took the train wit a sleeping kabin... 800km from Arusha to lake Victoria took us a lot of energy...
It's all part of the experience I took 8 hour bus trip to Pokhara, I cheated I flew back to Kathmandu, I am over 60 so aloud some luxury. Keep the videos coming loving them.
Best of luck for your journey ....... Enjoy a lot with nature and its beauty .... Have a safe journey .... We are watching you ..... Don't forget to post a vidio ..... Namaste 🙏🇳🇵
Hi, epic bus journey, OMG the drivers earn their money!! Well done Issy on overcoming your fear of heights on what must have seemed a perilous journey at times. Where to next
Spent 3 days on a bus from Delhi to Kathmandu once. Got 20 miles outside of Kathmandu and the driver just stopped and went to sleep under the bus, didn't say a word. Would recommend you get some waterproofs. Take care guys.
Brilliant video again that looked like one of the roads from hell. I’d give my eye teeth to be able to do a trip like that stay safe on your travels I’m looking forward to the next video 👍🏻🇮🇪☘️
Always have your bus tickets with seat number before 7,8 in bumpy roads in Nepal like seat no. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 & 8. Best is 3,4,5 & 6. Mind that. Cuz those seats are less bumpy in any road. If A row is already packed, ask them for B row. Enjoy Nepal.
Great video guys, nobody does it like you two, feel like we're on the adventure with you.....nearly as bad as some of the roads in Ireland you were on🤣 all best from Ireland
I've been on a coach in Crete coming back from a hike in the gorge . Frightening on the edge of the road with sheer drops and sudden stops but nothing like yours .
Stay safe guys. I know you keep saying it's a proper adventure, but if you are in actual fear at times for your lives, that's just plain dangerous. Guys you could be having a Pint Of Stout back in Co Clare in a pub with a session! Great vid again but be careful, we want you back.
I´ve traveled a lot on buses like this and is scary. When you be passing roads with falls or precipice on one side, keep your window open just in case you maybe want to jump to avoid a tragedy. Sounds crazy but you never know All the best!
Goodness that was a bumpy ride, it reminds me of many years ago when I skidded on ice, hit a kerb and rolled my car, luckily I had no more than bruises. That bus must go through springs and dampers at a fair rate.
having vertigo I would have been screaming (or passed out) for that whole journey! lets hope the rest of the adventure is not quite as heart pounding xxx
This is so reminiscent, the constant tee...teet and bee...beep of vehicles around, people, dogs & shops all over the street, all that hustle & bustle of nepal, it's so chaotic, but there's a different kind of thrill & excitement especially when you are travelling. I actually took a similar route from Kathmandu till Dhunche whilst on #GosainkundaTrek back in 2018, so I was actually reliving that bus ride all over again watching you guys. Now I am abroad and kind of missing Nepal looking at your video, going on hikes & treks in particular. I feel like I am going to follow you guys along on the trail through your vlogs, and relive the memories of my chaotic yet beautiful country. CHEERS :)
Hello Mandeep, I’m so glad we can provide you with a window back to your homeland. We love Nepal with it’s crazy chaotic streets and peaceful calming mountains. It is a land of contrasting sides and we love both of them. Such an amazing adventure, i am so glad we have the chance to explore it. The first video of our hike will be coming out today, I hope you enjoy it. 🙏
it feels like yesterday when i left NPJ(Indian border town) to take a bus to katmandu, it took about 22 hours!! using some not so good roads, and narrow bends!! Durbar square was a releif at the end of the journey!!
Fun Fact about Daal Bhat = you can refill your plate once or even twice if you are not full. But For other foods you wont get refill and have to pay again.
Jesus , I here you both saying that was scary for me watching it looked really scary . to be young and just to go for it good for you two amazing scenery. these are the great memories that you both will be able to tell your family a bout in years to come . ❤
What date was this bus ride? The weather looks much better than it is now. We are planning to go to the start of the langtang trek but were not even sure if the buses were running with all of the rain
This must be about 2 weeks ago, buses run everyday no matter what, only thing u must be prepared is that the 7 hour ride can take 10-12 hours while clearing the landslides. Enjoy Trekking here
Yeah this video is about two weeks ago, we are a little behind because we have been trekking and had no internet so haven’t been able to upload for a while. Thankfully we have finished our hike as the weather is very bad at the moment
I’m traumatised just watching that. I have a fear of busses on hills, busses going backwards down hills, busses driving beside steep drops. Well done. Hope the nest steps are calmer 😅
I once travelled by bus all the way from Lombok to top of Sumatra Indonesia took about a month. Was truly horrendous. It was only years later I found out that at least once a month a bus flies off into a ravine on that same route killing everyone on board. Third world travel is only for the young and hardy (and locals) I’ve done enough to last several lifetimes 😑
Haha ha those crazy bus rides 🤪 We did a 6 hr ride that took 10hrs because the bus broke down twice.. Amazing how the other driers all muck i to help fix the buses ( i guess they have to or they can't continue) .. Then there's the sight of the buses that didn't make it down in the ravines 😱 Still think Nepal was the best experience of our lives 🚌🇳🇵❤
The trust we tourist's all put in some driver whom we know so little about? Literally your life is in his hands! 😮 I recall a bus ride from the airport to our resort in Cuba with my wife and two teenage daughters at night. Between pot holes the size of the bus and cows all over the road it was scary. We made it safe and sound (gave the guy a solid tip) and lived in fear all week of the ride back. 😂
Ha ha haha yes this is the subcontinent all right you will miss all the crazy when I got to Thailand after india and girlfriend really I’ll …after two days I wanted to be back in India cos you never know what’s around the corner…it’s just the way it is accept and enjoy your life bless you

I dread to think of her on these roads
Quite a ride! Nice though to see my son Kristian in the seat behind you! 🙂 Have a great journey! 👍
Brought me right back to my Himalayan bus trips, Ohh the memories, great video guys, love from Ireland 🍀💚🍀

Epic. I'll never moan about getting on a UK bus ever again.
Its better to have seats at the front rows upto the middle in long bus rides in nepal. The latter seats are more bumpy than the fronts.
