The thing is, Sofia likes Jim, actually likes him. She likes him for the same reason Barbara does. They both see his darker side mixed with his desire to do good. Barbara herself said, even before she knew who she was, she fell for that darker side. When Lee was on the virus, she said something similar.
I love Sofia and all the ladies of Gotham. Beautiful, deadly, determined.

God of Evil If Sophia was an animal, she’d be a black widow spider - she’s beautiful, but deadly. Lee gave her some much deserved karma though.

Sofia Falcone took Gotham as one big chessboard and everyone on it was a pawn to be used and discarded at will. Even her own father, using Det. Gordon's discontent over Penguins reign over the Underworld and Law Enforcement to her advantage. And before Gordon could escape the board after realising his place on it as the Knight, it was checkmate. He was in a lose/lose situation where Sofia claims the final victory. The public disgrace or the private corruption of the GCPD's most honoured Officer.
Little did she know, it wasn’t checkmate. The game has just started. Lee and Penguin and Riddler became pawns for the Gordon. They all conspired together to take down the queen (as in like chess). And finally, The GCPD and the narrows and the Cobblepot crime family took checkmate from the Falcone crime family.
@@mikephelps5454 Sofia was better at obtaining power than she was at retaining it. The moment she chose to humiliate Gordon & imprison the Penguin instead of killing them, it was clear this was only round 1. Sofia's attack on Lee Tompkins via the hammer, thinking she can take the Narrows with brute force left her fair game for a takedown in round 2. And her death signified the end of Gotham's Mob era.
Why does this show keep on killing important batman villains before they even meet the batman?!!

I don't think this show gives a fuck either way. Gotham has no loyalty to any timeline or canon. Or so it seems.

only a comentary nothing special Its what adds to its appeal. Gotham has positioned itself where it can pay homage to classic stories without the pressure of staying faithful to them. Think about. Little Bruce Wayne isn't Batman yet but still manages be front row centre with James Gordon in the chaos surrounding Gotham City.

@@EternalPayne yeah, Lee is the best, but i didnt like when Lee hated Jim Gordon for the Murder of Mario, but she liked jim still, as soon as Sofia dethroned Penguin and Lee, they both wanted revenge on her, i was happy Lee got her revenge

Honestly that’s brilliant, sometimes the show is cheesy but sometimes, there are some scenes like this one where you are in touch with moments of pure sadism and concrete psychopathy, also can be put forward the pure cold-blood calculated plan , it’s an interesting way of putting ourselves in front of decisions we make and what we actually want, it’s great writing. And the music shapes the moment very well
I knew from the beginning she wanted revenge for Mario, she ALMOST fooled me when she told him that “he did what he needed to do” because of the virus.
+Spideyfan 127 I always thought she was to I just didn't think she was gonna wait patiently for it I thought she would've try to early on. But she played her role good she even slept with him which is crazy

Mike Phelps or both, most villains don’t take their revenge by simply killing the hero, they do something that’ll make them suffer.

Part of me hopes this is Jim finally learning to step away from mob favors and out towards his actual community for support. There are tons of solid cop life stories you could tell that resonate with economic struggle, relationship violence, and even crowd control.
Like let’s say Sofia tries to close down a plant employing hundreds as an expansion, and the GCPD encounter a protest. Maybe instead of forcing them out, they could stand and protest with them as a display against the criminal element of Gotham.

In short Gordon need a person who do things he can’t do.
+Michael Byrne I feel like they were moving him towards that way because when they haunted for pig and harvey told all the cops to search door to door for pig or anyone who may have saw anything. Jim was trying to work with the people and even keep the other police in line from hurting innocent people and now that he's captain he doesn't have to follow order because he makes them. I feel like that's why he tried to distance his self from Sofia

I have a feeling they’ll have to introduce them in the second half if they want to root out Sofia’s influence by season’s end.

Young James Gordon understood from the start that the Mob were the true power in Gotham. Not only in the streets but in Law Enforcement. Which is why he capitulated and allied himself with them to defeat a common foes or to keep the peace yet somehow manage to keep his hands clean and his integrity in tact. This time it backfired from a great height.
If Gordon, The Sirens, Penguin and/or Lee doesn't get her, Bruce will. He may be a junkie now, but he has a huge problem with people that off their own parents.

She has to stay in a wheelchair for all public appearances. So odds are someone would have to catch her out of the chair.

@@InzaneMane She ain't coming back at all since Gotham ended 1 season later. Sofia was as good as dead.
@@Senate300 anyway they fucked up the whole series. It went down with season 4 and season 5 was absolutely shit. Season 1 and 2 still were the best. Season 3 was good too but already to exaggerated I guess.
@@InzaneMane I actually liked Sofia Falcone as an antagonist but if she was smart, she would've laid waste to Gordon and Penguin when she had the chance. They're not the kind of opponents you outmanoeuvre or usurp then let live to rise again. She was better at obtaining power than she was at retaining it.

I'm tempted to call bullshit on that. Here's why? I don't buy that Sofia was willing go down for conspiring to kill all those cops with Lazro"Pyg"Valentin only to drag Jims name through the mud via a career ending scandal built from his decision to ask the Falcones for help against the Pax Penguina who ran rough shot of him and the police. A scandal that may only see Gordon get kicked off the force and put on early retirement. Vengeance for Marios death felt like a small fraction of her motives. Sofia's all about power. And with Jim Gordon as her puppet captain now that he gave in to blackmail when he gave in to her second choice, Sofia will have managed to consolidate that power now that she's in full control of Gothams Underworld.
Michael is not only a badass singer he is also a badass actor
well tbf according to previous episode prof. pyg Lazlo valentine came from down south so sofia also came from there so she would be aware of a criminal pshycopath down south but jim couldn't trust her

I think they should have revealed Professor PYG survived the shot to the head and as a result received brain damaged driving him crazy, which made him adopt the PYG persona for real.
That could have made him more like in the comics, a crazy doctor mumbling nonsense all the time.

This is a bit off topic from the video but I've been wondering for the longest time why Jim Gordon hasn't gone after that evil, psychotic b@#$! Tabitha. Not only did she kill Penguin's mother but she also killed a cop... one of Gordon's own. You'd think that would be enough motivation for him to at least make a valiant attempt to bring her to justice somehow. But instead it seems like he has become so occupied with women and moving up the ladder in his career that taking dangerous criminals like Tabitha off the streets isn't even a thought. No wonder Gotham has become a cesspool of criminal activity and corruption.

Prometheus was trying to get revenge on Oliver for killing his dad. He pretended to be a DA and an Ally to oliver but was secretly pulling the Strings from behind the scenes. Which is exactly what Sophia is doing. The only difference is that she wasn't trained by the league of assassins.

Actually, I think it was really Professor Pyg. And Sofia shot him in the head for a reason. I think the people who watched Gotham, excluding me, were wondering why Sofia suddenly shot him. I feel the same.
What’s the sound track to this
I’m probably forgetting or missing something, but why didn’t he turn her in? If she was going to say he asked for her help, a rational mind like Carmine Falcone (this portrayal) is more orderly than Penguin’s. Gordon was trying to do the right thing and should’ve let the people know.

What did she do to her face if she did not stop she would look like Donatella Versace soon, she is only 32 but recently she played a 16 years old in teen wolf and now she is looking like she can't even smile thanks to all procedure done on her face. She act's brilliant but stop with the plastic Crystal please you are beautiful without it she would look like a medle age woman who is to desperate to stay young and does not get it she perfect
