Police say Danielle Johnson, who used the name “Ayoka” on social media, stabbed her boyfriend to death inside their apartment, then pushed her two daughters out of her moving car on the 405 freeway in Los Angeles. She then drove her car into a tree, dying from the impact. Johnson’s social media profiles show she posted nonstop about the upcoming solar eclipse. Until you’ve experienced psychosis yourself its easy to say that. i’m speaking from experience (my delusions were mild compared to her) You REALLY believe your delusions it’s scary when your head becomes clear and you vividly remember the delusions and how real they seemed. She didn’t know they would die: she truly BELIEVED they HAD to die along with herself and her partner.

The eclipse didn't make her do anything. People on earth are just crazy. People look for any reason to do harm to one another.
Spiritism is just an excuse to avoid accountability for personal choices. Instead of owning up to mistakes and character flaws to fix them people who practice spiritism would rather blame planets for their self-made problems.
Love both of these opinions. It’s one thing to be spiritual, but it’s another to pass the blame of your own actions or your fear/anxiety onto spiritualism or the planets. It’s a fascinating thing to listen to sometimes - but it’s entertainment…not the path of your individual daily choices that cumulate into what you create in this world.
Everyone also seems to look for anything to criticize about another person just to make themselves feel better too.

I saw this on Reddit when it first happened. I guess some ppl in the comments followed her and said after the birth of her newest she slowly got more and more psychotic in her postings. They seem to think she may have been suffering from postpartum psychosis. It’s rare to see familicide (family annihilators) from a woman.
That poor dad and those poor babies. My daughter is 8. The mental anguish of that poor child, I can’t even begin to imagine. I hope she has the right ppl, professionals and loved ones, by her.

She was into astrology, not astronomy 😂 But on a serious note, this woman’s family reported that her behavior had become increasingly strange after she gave birth to the baby. They believe she may have been dealing with post-partum psychosis. When people experience episodes of psychosis, their “logic” is not at all grounded in reality.
My heart is also breaking for the person driving the car that accidentally hit that poor baby...I can't imagine their shock and horror.
Was the baby run over? I thought the baby died from being dropped from a moving car.

That is actually something that plagues my nightmares. I am driving at night and when i go around the 4 way stop toward my home i dont see it untill its too late but there is a baby swaddled in the road.
This being just a nightmare and it having such a strong effect i have the most sympathy and empathy toward the drivers who witnessed this. Those poor babies.
This is genuinely awful. Not only did this woman ensure that her 9-year-old daughter's last image of her was her trying to kill her, but she also ensured that her daughter was going to live with the guilt of accidentally letting go of her sister. Not to mention the driver of the car that hit the baby!

This case is so unbelievably vile! How TF do you push your kids out of a vehicle on a highway?!?! I can’t even imagine the trauma the people that ran the poor baby over is going through. I'm a true crime podcaster myself and this type of behavior called "Familicide" is very rare. It doesn't happen alot. The world is obviously hurting since 2020 when we were all locked down. I see a therapist every week for my own issues and PTSD. I'm a survivor of attempted murder. I have been there and seen it all. Some people just "SNAP" and will take others they love with them.
I mean it is a mental thing. Something is mentally wrong with your brain if you do something this evil. Most humans are very weak mentally, easily brainwashed and manipulated. It's scary when you think about it.

Thanks for covering this shocking story. I myself am a professional astrologer and i was horrified by how this woman latched onto the eclipse as a focus on which to pin her mental illness. By the way, i looked into her astrology predictions and all she did was mumble through vague Sun Sign mush. Her prettiness and youth gained her a following. Her poor partner was going through his Saturn return. Sad.

This Story is very very similar to my sister, who took her own life last July, she was a lowrider model, wanted to be a shaman, into native healing and wanted to reach the ultimate spiritual awakening and was standing In the hot phoenix sun and attempted to conjur the hyoka spirit and changed her IG name to hyoka warning us about the end of times. This is exactly her story and it's CRAZY that they both changed their handles to similar names

The fact that she liked astrology does not mean anything. The issue here is that she was clearly psychotic due to a mental illness and/or the use of drugs which is common among people who has a history of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder (diagnosed or not). I’m so sorry for her victims (including herself) and hope this will bring awareness to the importance of mental health care.

It probably wasn't that. Women have a 1% chance of developing post partum psychosis. It's common for sufferers to fall deeper into their own religious beliefs to the point where their mind uses their beliefs against them.

It’s almost like teaching people that you should live your life according to fictional stories with no basis in reality is a bad thing.
I cannot comprehend the trauma that was visited upon the drivers near her when she pushed her little girls out of the car on the freeway. I witnessed a puppy fall out of a van on the freeway when a sliding van door opened accidentally, it was 30 years ago, and due to traffic slowing, and a police car being there, the puppy was unhurt and yet the memory is seared into my mind. To witness the murder of an infant, and attempted murder of a child would be traumatic nightmare fuel of the very worst kind, and I sincerely pray for those people, and for the surviving child. I really hope she has a loving and responsible family to step in and care for her. ❤
