"I don't know anyone who likes chatot" chatot is actually what got me interested in Pokemon because I found a keychain of it at a garage sale when I was younger
Chatot is one of my favorite Pokemon mostly because when I was young the first Chatot I found was shiny, and I didn't understand what a shiny was, so I thought that those were its normal colorings. I then came back after learning what a shiny was and found 5 normal Chatot and thought they were all shiny. I have liked Chatot ever since.
I love trubish and the evolution I can’t spell mainly bc when I was going through some bad mental stuff I look at trubish and laughed the hardest I’ve ever laughed bc it’s derpy trash and I saw myself as fat trash and it’s evolution is so dumb I can’t help but laugh at it

When I saw 5:25 shiny wurmple I was so angry Because i decided "ya know what I'll keep resetting my game just so my Treeko has Timid nature(which took a long time)" I got it, but 3 encounters later I find a shiny wurmple, however, I dont have pokeballs because literally I'm still in the first grass to the right of the first route I am still salty

if chatot didnt have a low catch rate and was available early on in some games i do think it could have a good niche to stay on any team. If it had a evolution as well then it would be really worth using more often

Before gen 6 there wasn't much thought into shiny colouring, instead it was a standard swapping or inversion of set colours. This is why often pokemon that start of the same colour originally, end up the same shiny colour.
I do love Swirlex, Slurpuff, Pumpkiaboo line, Meowstic, Sylveon and a few other shines. Especially Slurpuff's where it looks like delicious chocolate sweets.
Seismitoad became one of my favorite Pokémon cus it’s ability “Poison touch” saved my Pokémon black nuzlocke in the elite four. And if your wondering his name was Kermit and he did live.

My first Pokemon game was Pokepark Wii, and Chatot is a cool guy there. So I like it :)
