When I first saw Liliac they were only doing UA-cam videos when they performed on the Santa Monica pier on weekends, now look at them.
It's ok, OSN, I smile too. These kids are saving metal!

I saw on a Facebook post from Liliac that they were approached by Ronnie's widow and asked to do this for the DIO cancer fund tribute. They were given one week to learn the music and get the video done. These kids pulled that off in ONE WEEK!!! They are amazing.
I got to hear this live Saturday night , it blew me away !

Great videos but they are even better live! I also saw them Saturday night and Melody's vocals and stage presence were amazing! Anybody that has not seen them live should definitely go! Another great reaction!!

I'm a sound guy and my first thought was "Who uses a 57 for vocals..?" But it seems to work so why not?

@@mikejustinemeybaum4921 I've heard that he did on another comment but I've scrolled thru 100's of pics on Google images and can't find a single image of him doing it... I'm not saying he didn't, but apparently it wasn't common... He's using an SM-58 in the pics I've seen...
You can hear Dio in her voice. It's like it comes out of the ether and joins her. Phenomenal.

Thanks for being another Reactor giving our Liliac some major love!! They had a week to do this cover for Dio's birthday's Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fundraiser with lots of infamous rockers giving RJD their tributes. Wendy Dio herself invited them and Vinny Appice has "adopted" Melody or he calls her Melo-Dio. lol Thanks again for Reacting to our fave vamp metal kids. @/rorh (I think you already knew all this LOL) Great eye on the cat's eye thing. I didn't notice.

Thank you Cristy, Before reading your comment I had composed my own comment expressing the same subject of the Dio-Cancer Team requesting the cover from Liliac. They are the future of Rock.
Yeah I saw you trying to not to grin! I personally think this is their best cover, and maybe their best performance across the board. Melody's expertise and passion for Ronnie James Dio really shows through
They overshadow the cover groups and their original songs are just amazing.
What I like about Sams playing, is usually he sticks to the song pretty accurately.. but once he hits that solo, it's like he goes into a different gear afterwards and starts putting some of his own little runs in it.. I dig that..
My 9 year old son and I saw them live back in June and they are freaking so awesome live its just not even believable.
Lets put the record straight, this is superb, this is the future of rock and metal, now i can leave this world happy knowing its in safe hands
I absolutely love these kids. I like that they are keeping the music alive that I listened to in high school. AMAZING!!! I guess that's why they call Melody, MeloDio.

It's good to see Ethan and Justin coming to the front more. I loved Justin's parts in Nothing and Sail Away. Ethan's killing that baselines with attitude.

When I saw her eye's, I thought she had contacts in rofl. Really doesn't matter what she sings, It's going to sound great. There are just some singers that can do that and she is one of them. Love this song and this cover.

Also while they're all improving exponentially, Sam put a bit more of his interpretation on this solo. I listened to the original and it seems a bit more subtle
Vivian Campbell is a beast.. This kid is good and only going to get better for sure.
The vertical light placement gave them an opportunity for some nice transitions from showing one of the band to the next. I want to hear them cover Axe's Rock n Roll Party in the Street
That first “home” is key. RJD used it to great effect to change up the energy from the intro, displaying his talent for shifting his vocal style at will. Melody does exactly the same thing here. It’s marvellous. Samuel’s solo is spot on.

As always a fangtastic reaction to a song I hadn't heard until a video release 3 days ago I've easily watched it at least 60 times since .l love reaction channels and watch repeatedly and I inflict my biased comments on as many as possible . .I'm allowed ! Excellent job as always! One piece of advice to Sam from one guitarist to another: When shooting a music video, mind your pickup selector switch.......LOL. Like any one would really notice that,
I don't even know what you said, but obviously you noticed, so that's a good tip for Sam.

I had the chance to see Dio with Black Sabbath 2 times before he passed away it was amazing and this cover is great.

Last in line is my favorite Dio song. I’ve seen tons of covers and covered it myself. She gets it. You have to spit that verse with venom or it doesn’t work. Love it

May I make a suggestion for something for you to see? Melody sings "Die Young" I believe that is a Black Sabbath song. Singing that takes her voice to a whole new level it's fantastic. I listen to it all the time. Forgot to mention the song is NOT listed under the video she is all dressed up in of course Black and singing into a black Mic. It's on her Melody Crusted youtube page.
At the start the "speaking part" I was not 100% sold, but was going to wait till the ...coming......HOMEEEEEE part. Although she is not Dio she did a Great job with it. The more the song goes the better they get. Solid 9 out of 10 for me. Great reaction. Can't wait to see them Live in Houston sometime.
