LILIAC deserves credit for tackling a song that older Metallica fans have heard perhaps hundreds of times over the last 35 years. Like you guys, many fans have heard the original MASTER OF PUPPETS so many times that they know it note for note. And that LILIAC got you guys to nod in approval, which they get people to do a lot on their covers, is FANGTASTIC!
This was a great tribute to Metallica’s Master of Puppets which was a fan request they accepted the challenge and made it there own version. Little man has grown. The keyboards makes it more listenable.
I agree I really like the keyboards actually really could hear them the 2nd time I listen too it now I listen to it all the time it really adds something to it.
They definitely made it their own. Their dad (Florin) said that Justin on the keyboard was used as a way to fill in for the 2nd guitar. Appreciate your honest opinions and criticisms. By the way- Justin (keyboard) is also learning to play guitar as well.

Little man is on keyboard.. he has grown. Keyboard is used to fill in for lack of rhythm guitar,, and they play vamp metal. They did a great Joan Jett cover as well.

You have to watch them play originals ,e,g Mars live in Cummings Georgia or nothing recorded in their living room during shut down. This band is incredibly talented and they put their own spin on the covers they do...like some have said, if a band does a cover and it sounds just like the original, so what, I think its a creative process to add or change the song a bit to make it your own but yet still pay tribute to the original artist..this band proves that they have the ability, professionalism, stage presence, energy and just all around power that most bands don't do...

I've read loads of comments from lots of reaction videos on this cover by Liliac. I've seen the general consentious is if your a true metal head you are going to find criticisms here. But if your a casual metal head who does love rock in general, then you probably loved Liliacs cover of this, including Justines added Keys and Melody's change up on vocals. But most everyone acknowledges their ability to nail the musicianship. I used to say the big 3 were Melody, Sam and Abby. But now I have to add in Ethan. I still have to see a lot more of Justine and for him to start soloing to put him in that upper echelon of musicianship. But at his age he's already surpassed many many others close to 13. It's insane how good some of these young kids are today. Btw, have you 3 listened to an 11 year old guitarist named Taj Farrant yet? If not here's a link you will want to watch. Originals are off the charts, but they also just dropped another cover "Symphony Of Destruction". Love seeing the "old" guys reacting to young rockers keeping our rock alive. Just a bit of FYI: 1. Ethan plays the 5 string in many songs now and it's so impressive to see that from a young kid. You don't even see that in adult bands. 2. With Justin learning to play guitar, he will be the missing rhythm, plus play the keyboards on stage. Just like Wayne Findley of Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock. He plays keys and a custom 7 string Dean V "Trident" on stage. Killer. You all want to hear a band of former 80s rockers; who unfortunately dropped just one album last year? Black Swan Band; Robin McAuley, vocals, Reb Beach, guitar, Jeff Pilson, bass, Jeff Starr, drums.. Robin sounds the same as he did back in the 80s. He also just dropped a solo album, at 68 years old! The man is bionic. lol
Sam the Lead guitar player is 22 now, Abigail the drummer is 21, Melody the lead singer is 19, Ethan the bass player just turned 15 and the Justin the Keyboard player is 14. The fans choose this for them to do I live the fact they took in the challange NOT many bands would even attempt to to this and they did a fantastic job glad you guys gave them a nod for this!! I really like the keyboards really noticed them the 2nd time I heard this love it. The more you listen to it the more you like it. Plus I love how they honored Metallica but still made it their own at the same time.

The first time i watched this cover I was a little worried about the keyboard, but I think it adds their own flavor to the song. Plus it fills the hole of not having a 2nd guitar.
Yeah they made this their own while keeping the heart and feel of it, which is great. I think they did a great job on this. They're really starting to mature into better more confident musicians. You asked where "Little man" was.. everyone is there. Same line up. Originally the singer played bass so they had two guitarists..but the younger guitarist wanted to switch to bass, which also gives the singer more freedom to be the frontwoman etc. So, they're a one guitar band now, which is fine cause Sams a great guitarist.
There's this band called "Larkin Poe" Love for you to do some reactions of them. They are a soulful roots rock n roll band and they just happen to be sisters too... Two recent highlights for me have been Larkin Poe covers of Wish You Were Here (by Pink Floyd) and Stayin Alive (by the Bee Gees)... Both of which are incredibly beautiful and different. Love for you to check them out and react to them :)
I think there a really talented group but I'm not to crazy about there originals. The front girl is awesome but she can be at times a little to theatrical which make it sound like she's trying to hard. The guitars is just awesome! The energy is there but they got to create energy that going to move people. I'm a 70"s, 80's and early 90"s rockers and heavy medalist and those groups move people even your one hit wonders. Liliac in my opinion has got to find there identity and sound in music or they'll just be an awesome cover band. Very band has got there Identity and sound where you can say yep that AC-DC or Iron Madian or whoever. But over all great reaction man.

Big Liliac and Metallica fan and love nearly all of their covers but I don´t think MOP is the perfect song for Melody´s voice. Enter Sandman was much better !!!

I'd suggest starting earlier in their catalog.of originals as well. The EP Chain of Thorns or Queen of Hearts LP.

I agree. Justin's haunting keys and Melody's eerie laugh worked well for LILIAC because how addiction possesses a user is creepy.
