Thank you, I'm so happy you found the video helpful :)
Beautiful work
Thank you!
Hello and thank you for this pattern!😊 I noticed the way the purl bumps on the RS do not appear continuous across the row as with most other fan feather patterns that i have seen and are instead only seen on every other "wave"- it lends a unique look to the texture that results in a a beautiful eye catching fabric!❤it!
Thank you for your comment, I am so happy you like the pattern :) Happy knitting!
Love this I’ll make a great shall with it , thank you ❤
Thanks love this so much, it’s so beautiful 🤗
I'm so happy you like it :)
It is beautiful but at which row do we cast off after the desired length is done
Thank you! The feather and fan stitch really does create a beautiful pattern. Once you've reached your desired length, you can cast off on the next row following the pattern. Just complete the row you’re on and then work the cast-off in the pattern. This means if you’re on a knit row, cast off in knit stitches, or if you’re on a purl row, cast off in purl stitches. This will help keep the edge neat and consistent with the pattern. Happy knitting! Let me know if you have any more questions. 😊
I want to how stitch do I need to knit the same length the picture on brown shawl
Hello, you can view the full written pattern here - www.handylittleme.com/feather-and-fan-stitch/
In the written pattern doesn’t the pattern instructions write for the 3rd row - *(p2tog) 4x’s, (yo, k1) 8x’s, (p2tog) 8x’s* then (p2tog) 4x’s for the last 8 sets? I’m confused. Did the video demonstrate the entire pattern? I realize it’s a short sample.
Hello, this is a short sample, so the instructions differed slightly from those in the shawl pattern on the website.
Much appreciation
Hello how do I go about making this in the round. I am new to knitting is it the same as this tutorial. The texture you have created is beautiful and will make a lovely summer dress
Hello when knitting in the round will I need to purl every other row?
Why does no one mention using lace knitting needles? Here I am can’t figure out while I having such difficulties with my stitches with my “bill” nose needles. No on said anything about lace knit needles!!!
You can use regular needles to knit this stitch pattern; you don't have to use specific lace knitting needles. But if you want to try them and see if it makes it easier for you....I use my Knit Pro Zing interchangeable set for most projects.
Too fast to understand 😢
Hello, UA-cam has the option to adjust the playback speed. Maybe playing the video in 0.75 might help? 😀
