Other than the studs, is there a concern of possibly hitting wires? TY

If you do a small pilot hole, you can see if there are wires there. If there are, that is ok, you just want to use more caution drilling through. From what we have seen, you can normal push the wires to the side if they are in the way as they have some give.

Hi. Is there an optimal way to connect the cellular connectors (numbered 1-4) to the Main and Aux connectors on a router like the Transit Max Pro?

you can just hook them up in order 1-4 across the back of the router for both single and dual modem applications. The omni directional elements in the 42G are not specific to any antenna and that is what Peplink recommends for the configuration. Thanks for the great question.

How does this antenna compare to the Parsec Husky Pro 7, 7-in-1 5G Antenna ? I assume the Husky has higher gain but it is more expensive.

On the bundle listing page if you scroll down youll see an “antenna comparison” section with an inckuded link with details on all of our 7-in-1 antenna options and differences. mobilemusthave.com/pages/ultimate-road-warrior-mobile-internet-bundle

You skipped the part of where you tighten the nut on the interior side of the antenna. How did you do that?

Most of the time, the RV roof is too thick for that to poke through. That is why the adhesive is used on the bottom side of the antenna to keep it in place. We have installed thousands of units without that nut on the bottom, and as long as you use a good adhesive for your roof, it will keep the water out and the antenna in place.

Hmm, I'm not sure I'd want to rely on a 3M sticker as the only thing holding onto my expensive investment. High winds have got to test the strength of that sticker, especially as it deteriorates over time.

@@mctenold the dicor also is holding the antenna down along with gravity and the weight of the cables. We havent had any issues going on 7+ years with this method, that said its all about prep and making sure everything is clean and even for the adhesion to work its magic.

If I email, could you supply me a list of recommended installers in the SW area? I have the issue of being tall/heavy, and not sure I want to test the limits of my airstream's roof :)

just about any mobile tech can help you with an antenna install, its a pretty easy job and we would be happy to answer any questions they have. We have found that dealerships often get confused by the installation, have longer wait times and dont take the pride in work that an independent installer with good reviews takes. If they have installed a SAT or Tv antenna, then they can handle this!

This antenna sucks. I find my own devices have a better connection than this over priced one. I regret buying it.

How are you measuring the antenna performance and what are you comparing it to? Are you measuring the signal strength and snr numbers in db and comparing to the results without a stock antenna? We have had nothing but positive feedback on the performance of this antenna as a solid mid price point omni directional so I suspect something else is at play here perhaps tower related or something else.

You sir, you are a loser, you're probably trying to gain signal from 80 miles away from the cell tower, be realistic about your use.
