Elipse Evo Sporting, Summit sporting, Summit Trap combo kit... extremely happy with all of them... Every time I take one to the grounds people can't stop complimenting about it and asking many questions.... Always positive experience.
Poor old Fabarm, often overlooked. Have had alot of their designs touted as a Guerini design. Fabarm make some of the best barrels and chokes which are made in house (unlike many other manufactures) Fabarm made an inertia shotgun for Guerini years ago. I own and use Fabarm shot guns (semis and O/U) and love them however one of these more up-market Guerinis do have an appeal.
Have had an Invictus 111 Ascent for two years now, and I love it! The trouble is so do all those I shoot with, and I have to keep a close eye on it. To be honest they have all shot with it (I do not charge much, although I should) and all are reluctant to hand the gun back!
I just picked up an Invictus II Limited and it is spectacular. What a gun. The fit and finish is super nice as is the wood. Very happy with my purchase.
After trying a good many guns I bought a Caesar Guerini Summit Ascent as my first gun last year. I've been very happy with it. The balance is very good. A couple of things worth mentioning - their UK distributor provide excellent customer service. Also, on a friend's recommendation who's also got a CG I started using Fiocchi FBlack cartridges. They're excellent and seem well suited to the Caesar Guerini. Thanks Jonny.
I have 3 Caesar Guerini 12ga. shotguns, my first is a Apex field 28" scince 2011, afterwards I got a Invictus VII 32" in 2015 and 3 years ago I bought a Woodlander 28" for my Son. They have the best balance and feel and toughness of all, I have shot more than 30,000 shots and never had a fail to shot, extract, or trigger issue. I have tried hi end Berettas and Perazzi that FTS or FTE or change trigger pressure with use. The Guerini only issue is that gold plating goes off with use. Still a great deal for the price.
I bought a Magnus 12g 30" Sporter from Ian Coley at Cheltenham. Have a look at their website, they usualy have a few Guerinis at sale price. I was after the new Summit but saw they had a new Magnus for sale at £2650 instead of 3200! It was worth the journey, the gun was superb and the gun room brilliant along with the associated shooting grounds!
My First gun was a Guerini Summit Sporting.. Still have it and use it for Skeet. I recentl bought a Krieghoff K-80 Trap gun but I will never get rid of my Guerini.
Hi own a Guerini Summit since many years and I'm shooting 4000 to 5000 rounds a years (skeet). I'm totaly in love with that gun which the beauty, high quality of the finish a reliability can be compared to much high priced shotguns. The only concern I heard that some have is about when using tube with 410 sometime the recoil is not strong enough to shoot the second shell, although this can be corrected by replacing the recoil system for a mechanical system (sorry for my English).
Thank You, and hello from Denmark. I have a 30 year old 686, never had a problem. Also my 15 year old son has a Miroku 7000, never had a problem. When i went to the gunshop for a new gun i first ordered a Browning, but they messed up and Browning would not help me out even though i waited more than 7 weeks. I am a lefty, so the variaty of guns on the shelves are low. But then i entered a new shop and he handed some different guns and i imnediately fell in love with the summit. I am still very much in love, and i have never had a problem with this one either. A lot of the problems is due to the lacking of maintainance. That’s my opinion at least 😉. Keep up, i enjoy your channel very much. I love Caesar ❤️ and TGS 👍.
I went with a Browning 725 “Pro” Sporting over the CG Summit and the Fabarm Elos N2. I’ve had buyers remorse and have regretted it ever since. Now I’m wait to handle the New Fabarm Elos Allsport!!!
Hi .. thanks for all the informative videos. Could you do a segment about the firing pins on the Guerini Magnus.. how many shots before they wear out, how to replace them.. thanks.
a lot of modern shotguns seem to me to be derived from the merkel, boss & other british gunmakers but predomitately merkel as even the aya sidelock ou looks like a german gun
Finally 😁 is going from a 686 evo, to invictus sporting a good idea? I dont like the "gamespec" pistolgrip on my 686. I was at my local shop yesterday and got hold of one, and it felt so damn good in the hands. If im going for it, he wants 2,470 between my 686 and that one, and he will put a adjustable stock on from the best company in sweden. You think its worth it?
Excellent. Would be great if you could re make / reshoot the early invictus reviews you produced since the production value on your videos has much improved. 👍
In the video you mention rust issues. I’m on my second Guerini and they have both been the same with rust on the outside of the action. I coat them in oil but nothing seems to stop it. I have to strip off lacquer, re polish then re lacquer. There has to be a better solution if anyone can offer any advice.
These beauties a revery uncommon in Spain. Now I see a Maxum field gun on sale, seconf hand, but it's too far away to guarantee a personal check. The gunsmith and vendor says it's mechanically ok, but I notice it's musding a piece of wood atvthe fore end's top front. With that information, would you deem it worth the € 1500 they demand for it? Appreciate any advice.
A good friend of mine is also my gunsmith, he's fitted both my shotguns and has also done some maintenance/loosening of the action. I use as my main gun a Caesar Guerini Magnus 12g 30" barrel and as an unbiased craftsman he raves about the bomb-proof build quality and reliability of Guerini compared to the modern Beretta's! Its your money and your call but I know what I'd buy for my wife, if she could shoot!!!
Hi, I have a newish mk38 sporter, and an ancient miroku 800 with a motecarlo stock, and although the mk38 was bought new, I shoot far better with the old 800( i shoot much better with it, and it patterns better). Unfortunately the old gun is about worn out. I was thinking of going for a guerini as a replacement. Is there one you would recomend that would shoot similar (I dont care for the new mk38 traps, they dont seem to pattern as well as the old guns) Thanks Dave.
DEAR SIR, SO CG BARRELS FROM FABARM,STOCK AND FOREARM FROM...? TRIGGER MECHANISM...? ACTION....? DO THEY PRODUCE ANYTHING INSIDE THE FACTORY OR THEY DO ONLY ASSEMPLY ?THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWER.
I’ve mentioned before that I have an unshod Tempio Light (with beautiful beautiful wood) and recently decided to move it in as I’ve never shot it and now can’t stand the thought of shooting it, so it’s sitting in the gun shop in Welling. I think that’s the problem with Caesar Guerini, they are such good looking kit that you don’t want to sully it by shooting it...... perhaps I should take it back and just stick it in the safe.......?
In 1986 I bought a b rizzinni second hand sporting for £350 at Avalon guns in street they had brand new e rizzinni for ,£250 but didn't rate them That extra £100 cost me my wife or ex wife went ballistic Still have it it's light and perfect for game or clays half and three quarter I think not quite sure Would be interested in its value

Hi Jonny, my Summit Ascent's barrels are flat black, do CG produce a traditional blued finish on this model?
Keep the brill vids coming.
Their wood is generally good but I understand they can be ordered with upgraded wood, and that can be spectacular.
That's correct, wood upgrades are generally available.

It is In my top 5 attainable guns, I would happily own one. Mostly because it I fixed choke, a little heavy and balances and handles so sweetly

There is no place at all for fixed choke in 2019. Change my mind.
Lighter, cleaner looking, don't have to take them out to clean or check tightness and lets be honest most people never change their chokes
