@@Eclectachrome I bought the Kino 'set' from Analogue Wonderland and the only film I have used, at the moment, is Potsdam in 35mm. I deved it in Rodinal and it is grainy and contrasty 🖤 I think my New Year resolution is going to be 'stop being precious about films and just shoot them'. By the way I bagged a copy of your zine am looking forward to getting it.
Fantastic shots. But also congrats on keeping your desk clean! As a cluttered creative person, it’s so difficult to keep things organized sometimes, so when you can, good for you! 🙌🏻
@@Eclectachrome I had read it on Elmusive and Alex Luyckx's reviews of the films and it makes sense since the other Lomo b&w films are ORWO stocks, they said in the initial release it was based on a German cinema film and DN21 is the ORWO stock around that speed. ORWO rates it as ISO 16.
I love the grain! I don't have access to this film but I will shoot some expired rolls at 25 asa. Do you remember your settings on this day? Did you had to use a tripod?
grain rocks! 25 asa is pretty close, I had the ISO at 25, probably shutter speed around 1/125 or 1/60, but I can't remember the aperture settings sorry! This is when digital cameras are helpful when they record this info lol Should have a notebook and write it down more often for film. Let me know how it goes!
Great shots!!👏
Thanks a lot!
These images turned quite dark and contrasty, love it!
thanks Nuno!
One of my favorite Lomography films
awesome! What do you like to shoot with it?
Wonderfully artistic photos
Thanks!
Another great video! I have a roll of Babylon 13 and Fântome 8 sitting waiting for sunnier days.
thank you Nik!! awesome, I haven't tried the Fantome 8 yet, have you tried it or is this the first time?

These pics came out beautifully! Will have to check out this film! Thanks for sharing this 😊
Thanks Matt! Let me know if you get some how you get on with it!
I love black and white with a lot of contrast, 3:28 well done 🖤🖤
thank you!!
I am so jealous of you this trip. Great video as usual.
thank you for watching and supporting! :) I'm hugely grateful for being able to do this, definitely not something taken for granted!

haha thank you!! it's still relatively clean now, but I also got more shelves to put things away in!
Dark, Moody, I like it! I had a chance to shoot Babylon 13 and rather enjoyed it. Excellent results!
thanks!! its a cool choice, glad you enjoyed it!
Looooved the one with the woman carrying her dog, with the pigeon right in the center of the frame. Is this Lomo's own formula?
thats my fav! I'm not sure actually, I can only hazardously guess haha
It is ORWO DN21.
@@robertcoates2752 interesting! How did you figure it out?

These photos are so moody. Amazing stock. And underexposing it gave great resulst
Glad you think so! thanks!
Amazing how much grain this low speed film has. Generally low speed films are almost grainless.
true! could also be from underexposing it also!
Cool, but dont push this film, thus the imperfections appear. I have some and shoot Eastman duplicating film @ ASA1,5 , contrasty and no grain.
I enjoy the imperfections!
