Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial. I have been searching everywhere for how to do the shoulder section of a garment in Tunisian crochet. Super excited about trying this.
I was looking for a VERY simple pattern for my first piece of Tunisian apparel and this is perfect. I am very excited to get started - Wish me Good Luck ♥️
I've been working on this project for a few weeks now. I've been using I love this cotton and I'm so grateful for your website *and* your videos. Ohmygoodness am I so happy that you've got both.
I speed read the whole pattern and then go back and focus details. And that you have this video it really helps me learn by hearing your explanation instead of just reading.
It's taken me so long bc it's a big project for me, haha.

Thank you for this. I’d like to have a go. One question : Do you think Tunisian is quicker than normal crochet?
Could you make a video of this pattern as knitted ? It would look pretty like that as well
Could this pattern be adapted to make a dress with thicker wool would the hook size need to change? Really want to make a nice thick dress for winter
Fantastic video! 😍

Would it be possible if you crochet a everyday backpack or bag tutorial?

Is caron simply soft a good yarn for tunisian stitch?
vijaya tanikella Hi. I am making a king size tunisian graphgan with caron simply soft and red heart soft yarn. I have to admit I was skeptical at first, thinking it might split, but I love it! It glides on the hook, Its perfect for tunisian, the stitch definition is beautiful. I am making the graphgan in sections, and it joins almost seamlessly. You should try it!
Mezi Belle thank you, can you also share how you deal with curling?
Sure. Sometimes I use the "top bump" method. Using this method, you insert your hook into the top on the stitch instead of the vertical stitch. It doesn't change the look of the simple stitch, but reduces curling. You may also work a row or 2 of purl stitches when starting your project to help reduce curling as well.
Here is a short tutorial for the "top bump" simple stitch.
