You are fantastic two years ago began this cardigan and finaly is ready cause had surgery in my hand and now so happy I'M DONE and is amazing thank you and GBY FOR share.
I made this lovely cardigan with the following alterations which included decorative edging: I made the rectangles with vertical chains instead of horizontal (preferred by me to reduce fabric shrinkage/increase drape and when using a yarn that has self-striping effect); I added a 3 inch border to hem edges with open stitch work for an eyelet effect; to reduce the bulk of ruffled sleeves, I did *one row of SC, followed by a row of alternating *DC, DC, skip one stitch, DC, DC*, repeating ** one row to create an eyelet pattern, followed by 3 rows of SC, then did several rows of alternating half shells until the sleeves were elbow length. This created a relaxed ruffle with a beautiful open stitchwork. for the bottom 1/3 of the sleeves. Thank you, Ashleigh, for your inspirational and helpful tutorials and patterns. Love your web page, too.
I’m adding this to my “I must make” list.

Here is the link with the written pattern: www.sewrella.com/crochet-ruffle-sleeve-cardigan/ You have to go PAST the area "PATTERNS I LOVE AND YOU SHOULD TOO." The options for the written pattern is after the picture of her showing the back side of the sweater/shrug, it says PATTER with 3 choices, the first choice being the PDF file for the pattern. Hope this helps..

I'm in love!! Can I use this same ruffle technique to make a peplum-style sweater? Like I basically make a cropped sweater and then add the ruffle to the bottom

Why did my garment turn out so long above the knee it still looks nice I think it was because of my loose stitches what do,you think?

Love it!! Thank's 💚
Super modeller çok beğendim
I started a row for this pattern with caron simply soft. I did a gauge swatch but im wondering if the stretchiness of the caron yarn will affect the look of the finished cardigan?
Im so bummed because i chose a color i love and already bought 5 skeins
Hello, I Love this Lil Cardi. I am in Cali and light is necessary here as well! Were just getting a lil respite from 100+ the last month. I am wondering how or if it's easy to make a lil change on the sleeves. I have arms I need to cover and I wondered if I could make them a lil longer before adding the ruffle? do I need to increase at the top of the shoulder and work reg stitches for the rest for a few rows or is that necessary ? i just don't want to mess it up after getting that far. I appreciate your help if you can. I enjoy your designs..
Have a Blessed day
i was wondering the same, i want a longer sleeve before i start ruffle, how would i do that?
Can u do a video on the same cardigan but do it a small not a medium
😍. Grz. From Belgium.
Wooowww....thank you so much.....😍🤗
Help. If I do single crochet instead of double crochet will i use the same amount of yarns? And how will i make the sleeves with single crochet? Thanks.
Do you think that Caron simply soft would work for this ?
Any yarn of same weight as the yarn she used would be fine! Just make sure you get enough.
How many yarn do l have to use for Xl. Please help me, love it.
Thank
Beautiful 😍
Does it have to be that kind of yarn brand. Can I use Super Saver Heart yarns. I can't find the jeans color yarn. Thanks
Esta muy lindo pero nose nada de ingles podrias ponerlo en español seria genial... Cariños desde chile
Love it!!!❤❤❤👍🌹
Muy hermoso!!!!
Por favor, vc poderia colocar legenda em português nesse vídeo, para eu poder fazer o passo a passo, sou sua fã🙏🏼❤️
How many oz. Or yards and ply do we need?
You could have stitched in the round to avoid the seam in the sleeve
Tebrikler harika
No entiendo lo de las mangas como hacer para que queden así
How many yarns would I need to make this? I'm also a medium in size. I'm actually planning to order the yarns online and I would like to know the estimated number of yarns I will be needing.
Not the creator, but she often has the amount listed in the pattern on her blog!
I went to the written pattern link saw the ruffle sweater picture but it's not there.
How many balls of yarn did you use for the medium size. It's very nice... Looks very easy... Will be giving it a try very soon!!!
Shila Mirza on the written pattern says 5 for S and M
yes i will try a great model
How many yarn for size Xl do i have yo use??? I really liked it, thanks :)
yes
Me en cantó muy bonito tutoriales en es pañol por favor 🙋👍
Hi do you have a video of how to crochet a chevron cardigan
💘💘💘💘💘💘💘
How many hours you need to finish it?!
Hmmmm. I made the back panel using the same yarn and hook and it is much much too short. I followed the pattern for number of chains and rows exactly.
Hi Sewrella, just beautiful! Do you think the Lion Brand Heartland would work? It is 4 weight but feels thin.
Grace Moran I think that might be a good substitute, size-wise, based on what I've seen and felt of both yarns.
I think the jeans is a little softer and has more drape for a garment but the heartland is probably the best sub I can think of.
Yes! I'd like to know this too
Hi now I’m not an expert but I finally found Lion Brand Jeans I live in Tennessee JoAnn Craft store has it but it’s a 2 hr drive Asheville NC has a JoAnn to about the same drive.
I compared Heartland to the Jeans.
Heartland the skies is twice the size of Jeans it’s a worsted 4 with a 6 mm hook for Heartland.
Heartland the yarn strand is twice bigger also Jeans is a light worsted 4. Heartland is a bit fuzzy too.
I’m getting ready to make this but I haven’t yet I forgot what hook she’s using but if I only had Heartland to work with I would work up a gauge swatch first.
I think heartland is beautiful yarn but it is substantially different Heartland is heavier so it might take some time to play around with hook sizes doing a gauge swatch is probably going to be best I know they are a pain in the rear it takes me forever to do one.
But now this is just me I’m not sewrella I really like her patterns and just lucky to have found the yarn it just became available in Tennessee .
Hope this helps😊
Jeanna Kelly thanks a lot for posting this helpful info 😊
yeah it looks fine
Hi Sewrella , already bought a pattern from Etsy, can I know size S armhole lenghts..? I cannot find any information on it or I should do 7.5 "? Tq
yanafahmi I
Could you please tell me how many balls of yarn you used?? Many thanks
How many chains? For size XL?
Do you think the mandala yarn would work for this? It’s technically a 3 I think.
This is the yarn I am planning on using for this pattern....
