I'm about halfway through my Lamia shawl and I'm loving it! Thank you so much for this fabulous project Toni, I've tried Tunisian a few times but could never really get into it until now. The satifaction of learning and applying a new stitch (purl) but still having a lot of simple stitch to practice is great, and I love that I can just keep increasing until my wrap is as big and juicy as I want. Tip for fellow beginners, place a stitch marker in the yarn over (increase) when you're doing your return pass, I was having trouble identifying it when working the next row because it tends to sit 'sideways'. Lots of love from Australia x

Great tip! And I'm so glad you're enjoying the project. Love the use of "juicy" to describe a shawl. The cozy factor is off the charts!

I absolutely love, love , love this wrap pattern. Since COVID I rediscovered my love of crochet and am amazed of all the new and beautiful stitches. I taught myself to crochet with a book after watching a woman ‘knitting’ when I was about 12yrs old and I went to the library which had instructions for several needleworkS, crocheting being one of them. I have to admit I thought knitting was much prettier but loved the speed of crochet. I’ve been working since I was 16, and after kids , a busy demanding job, I had to lay down my craft. I am over 60 yrs young now but at that time there were only a basic few stitches out there. Then I came across Tunisian crochet and thought it was so pretty! But now the plethora is crochet patterns and stitches is astounding, awesome and wonderful! I just bought your book because I think you are awesome and wanted to support your real self!

I am using 1 Weight yarn and I am loving it. The drape will be amazing. I stuck to your original pattern so a thicker border does not overwhelm the design. Oh course I will have many more rows. 😂 Got 30 rows done today and will try to at least do 30 per day.

I love, love, love, love this wrap! My first one I gave to my Sister-in-law and she loved it. My brother commissioned me to make two more for my nieces in the favorite colors because he knew they would ‘’borrow” their mothers and she would never see it again! I will be making more! Did I say I ❤ ❤ ❤ this wrap?!

I am new to Tunisian, i believe I started in February and am completely addicted to learning this Beautiful Craft. I still make some mistakes but they are getting fewer. The Lemia is my 2nd actual shawl and love the stitches and the way it feels. I think the hardest part for Me is learning the new language of Tunisian. The good part about that is theres so many great places to find the information right at Your fingertips. Thank You Toni ❤

I've made this once before for my sister-in-law, but I made the honeycomb pattern one color and the simple stitch another (I used her 2 favorite colors) and now I'm using this pattern to do a Temperature Shawl (forward pass one day, return pass the next), and so far it's coming out so cute! Obviously, there's more rows (183 since 2024 is a leap year), but I'm using a smaller yarn and hook size, so it's still gonna measure how I want it to. I can't wait until it's finished!

Love It!! I’m almost ready to try my 1st Tunisian project and I do believe this is it!! Just need to get better Tunisian hooks, with the cords before I try this one out. A keeper for sure. Thanks Toni.

I love your videos, you are so easy to follow and inspire new crocheters like me. I am eagerly waiting the delivery of some Tunisian hooks today so I can start. Wish me luck. Thank you. ❤

Hey Toni, I don't comment often, but I feel like I had to here. I just LOVE this tunisian crochet pattern, and it's what made me pick my crochet hooks back up (after several failed attemps at starting tunisian crochet). I'm currently a bit past row 13, though I made a little modification and am continuing the honecomb pattern past 13 stitches, since I'm using a thinner yarn and crochet hook. I hope to see many more vids in the future. Thank you for all the effort you put in to your patterns and videos. Sincerely, a yarn crafts enthusiast 😄

Hi Toni was about to start this and then remembered I had some Baby Snuggle from the only supplier I will use HOBBII. I think it’s Super Bulky I was going to use Malaga but fancied it a bit more of a cozy snuggle shawl. Thank you for all you do. If it wasn’t for you I would never have known Tunisian crochet xxxx
