- In today's video I will be teaching you how to update pantry doors and how to paint over chalkboard paint. This is a DIY home improvement makeover that anyone can do! And it has a serious impact! This makeover was for one of my clients, so they chose the design. And it is 100% inspired by French cafe vibes. I will also be using a furniture transfer on this and replacing the knobs with something a little prettier.
If you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up, and if you didn't give it a thumbs down! Thanks for watching!
xoxo,
Holly

What a job!! They are very lucky to have found you....This turned out great. Even with the texture left behind. You really did your clients a huge favor! Love it :)

Holly I love this makeover. It was such an awkward corner to paint and you NAILED it!
Thanks a million, Sarah 💜
That is so stinking cute. Good job.
Aw thank you so much ❤
You did an amazing job Holly. ..and I will totally agree ..as it Is necessary for Editing Videos for YT the more you Content influencers At Least Mention Just How difficult Sanding Or Working Over others Work as well as Transfers ... ESPECIALLY the Transfers that Have Lots of script and/or Intrigued Details and Lines and scrolls Becomes VERY Hard and tedious and Could Take Sometimes DOUBLE the Time for the entire Project...I Think mentioning These things Will Bring a More realistic Time etc for someone Who's Thinking of tackling Stuff in future. .I absolutely Love how these pantry doors came out .. beautiful color and perfect Transfer Holly and I always Love your Bloopers....I too Deal with the Perfectionist ocd where I could Drive myself wacko Trying for perfection and Begins to Take the love and artistic Vibe from the entire job. Just like you mentioned Holly it's Necessary to let go and Grab "do the best you can without Hopping back on the perfection Train"! Absolutely LOVE everything about this video. .well done Holly in so many ways ..Well done!!🥰❣️❣️👍👍
Thank you so much. I always try to be honest when I'm showing a technique. It's only fair for people to know.
You are so kind. Thank you for the lovely comment & for your support ❤

Love that color GREAT JOB!!!!
Thank you so much! Glad you like it!
What a great job Holly. Well done. It looks so good now. You should invest in a carbide scraper. Saves so much sandpaper and reduces the need for stripper also. One of the best things I've bought in a while. I'm buying cabinet scrapers next. Wish I bought them ages ago as I'm just finishing off my kitchen cabinets and they would have been so handy for all the recessed bits on the door. Edit: I see a lot of flippers have an amazon wishlist. You should do likewise and put a carbide scraper or cabinet scrapers on it.
Thank you! I will certainly be investing in one soon :)
Thanks for your note about the wishlist. I would love to put one together at some point. I just haven't had the time yet.
Recovering perfectionist - never related to something so much in my life! 😆 it's hard to be a creative who likes doing things the "right way" but your attitude about this is spot on! (Though I felt your pain in the bloopers about other people's work) Thanks for the reminder. 🥰 This turned out beautiful, Holly, what a change! Bet your client is thrilled!
I'm sorry you relate because being a perfectionist is so hard! 😩
Those crooked paint lines really hurt my soul if I'm being honest though.
Your feedback always means a lot to me. Thanks for always leaving me comments 💜

Thank you, Kim ❤❤
This is really lovely, well done 🙂
Thanks very much 😊
The rest of the woodwork needs to be touched up now. Maybe add some magnetic closures to doors? Nice job with what you had to work with.
I did use some white paint to touch up the lines, but that's all I could do. The doors do have latches, but because the house was built in the 1920s, the doors no longer close all the way. It's just an old house with little quirks like that :)
