- Nipping Dad, the escaping 3-day old eaglet tries biting the prey before scrambling back where it belongs; safe and warm under it's father. 2 days ago the eaglet tumbled out of the nest bowl and Mom had to assist the eaglet, tucking it in. That video can be found here, • Decorah Eaglet Out & B...

It is awesome how Mom gently scoops in the Babe when he decides to return home!!
That damn eagles as well as all eagles would have left the chick out to die if it hadn't came close enough to be recognized.! And will sit and watch the stronger sibling eat it's brother too!
@@donbaxley5530 oh calm down.
Most adorable little creatures EVER! Thanks for the capture. :)
What a feisty little eaglet. Good thing parent did not get it's eye hurt. That little one will be a handful. So cute the way it is talking away. TX for the video.
He is attacking mom lol
What an aggressive little one!
He was attacking his Dad, not his Mom, in this video.
She is such a great Mom! She got her baby back under her! And she is still raising her baby eaglets. ❤️❤️❤️
That little one is spunky! He thinks he’s grown! 😂😂. So tender the way he crawled back and his mother lifter herself and tucked him under her.
Sweet comment Apmarin. Thank you :)
The spirit is strong in this one, it is. Haha 😆
Eaglet in time out haha 😆
Love how the eaglet goes back under Mama like “I’m sorry.”
At around 5:12 you see the little guy realize he's strayed a little too far from the nest and he wiggles his way back into the fold. Excellent parenting skills.
Thank you for the sweet comment Rapunzel!
Eagles are so beautiful and majestic creatures, and this video is really good.
@EpiscoCrucifer You are welcome Neko. Just 3 days old, E1 was such a ball of energy and already had the instincts to respond to the prey. Thank you for the comment.
For a awhile I didn't think the baby got back with it's mom, I was thinking it would freeze but then the mom was making a little ditch in the nest. Did you see how tender she was with the baby?
This is the most darling footage ever. And the ending was the most sweetest thing.🥺😍🥰😍
I'm happy that you liked it! Thank you so much! ❤
loving the echo so trippy
Baby needed dad after all. ❤
Thanks for watching Kay!
Every once in a while I have to watch this again :)

@@989razzle your welcome. It’s great watching them.
I find this hilarious , even after all these years 😃🐣🐣
What a nice comment. Thank you for watching :)
My Dad informed me of the current live video (2012) and have been watching with great enthusiasm! Today I caught someone panning the camera over a beautiful river...and rolling hills with horses! Thanks! I've been looking at last years (as my Dad watched a year ago) I love the caption on this one: "I can do it myself!" How cute ; ) (My eyes welled up on the previous one when it looked like the mom was dissing him...I found my self clapping when she finally brought him back in...! Great video!
And that eaglet putting his moves on the muskrat carcass- hilarious!
Haha.... Lesson learned.... peck at Dad's face, you get a time out. Very cute.
Mick, just viewed this video again. It must be on the all-time hit-parade of Decorah videos. Thanks for capturing & editing it.
Neko08
Thanks for the memories. As a long time nest watcher, a song lyric comes to mind, "wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then".
That is one spiffy little eaglet. Onery as sin , but so unaware of the perils
Once again- greatly appreciate your posting these. This time I was ready and subbed to your channel. when the baby got whipped out again and I couldnt stand to watch the livestream, I said- Razzle will have it for us quick! Thanks again.
Oh wow - I have only met the Decorah family in May this year but I am addicted! So nice to see something of the past and this naughty chick :)
Welcome to the Decorah Watchers Family, Luceforall! Thanks for the nice comment and thank you for watching too. :)
After rewatching this video, E1 seems to be feeding itself on leftovers. And interesting enough, the nest is six feet wide, the camera must be condensing the shots. I am so obsessed, I must get a life!
I just love them when they are this age 🐣🐣
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching too :)
@spirithawkvideo Thank you so much spirithawk. Welcome to the Decorah watchers family. I appreciate your comment very much :)

Was the little independent dude, the first to leave the nest? Looks as though it had a bit of tude. and was ready to take on the world.
سبحانك ربي ، حنان الأم لا يعوّض ❤
So cute.
Awww thats too cute
"Fine you little shit, if you wanna keep biting me you get to be cold outside."
Oh this really made me howl! Baby number one is a real stinker and full of him/herself. And still is!
Lovely mom.
"just wait till your mother gets home" lol
Amazing parenting
Thank you for watching Guadalupe!
The NERVE of the little munch kin !
That was the cutest thing ever. Would love to have watched that one grow up.
+PaxDisturbia Thanks for the nice comment! Thank you for watching :)
I did, and it was a bird terrorist for the adults to raise. It attacked them more than I've seen since. It's poor sibling, however, was the guy who got the bad deal. He was attacked not only daily, but constantly. As the mean one grew larger, its attacks were harder on the sibling. I'm surprised it survived.
@890slay Thank you. I appreciate your comment.
At the time watchers thought it was a muskrat or a marmot but we never knew for sure.
It looked like the mom accidentally took its foot and tossed it over when trying to aerate the nest
so cute . Bet that's the problem child lol
1:12 Eaglet: cmon daddy wrestle with meeee *shivers 4:23 *bites daddy's butt feather 5:05 come back my lil furball
Cheeky little booger! Demanding too.... LOL!
It needed a spanking!
How beautiful and brutal nature is.
@lindactstsy Thanks for the comment and for watching my videos lindactstsy.
What a great video. Would not want to be one of his/her siblings.
Look mom, I can already self feed!
Thanks for the comment :) :)
Should be called, "Eaglet tries to prey on father."
Thank you PaperGrape. Great comment 🙂
Por lo que veo esta enojado en serio. Escucho el viento, el frio arrecia. Se debe protejer en las alas de su madre.
Una medalla de oro se merece.
The sea eagle cubs really love to bite. They want to bite everything they see.😂
Man, that chick is too aggressive for its own good - one of these times it's going to latch onto something that's taking off.... :o
That's an American Mother and her chicks.
The dad side-eyeing the baby going to town on the carcass foot, “what da heck is wrong with this kid?”
Thanks for watching @TheEmaile!
Eaglet said ummm mom aren't you gonna come get me, it's freezing out here!

Awe!
Not the brightest bulb in the box, is he?
I know this vid is 8 yrs old but we’re these eaglets banded? Now as adults, do they know who they are? I was Just wandering. Curious. Thank you so much. ♥️🦅
One, a female, was fitted with a transmitter and possibly one might have been banded but I can't quite recall. Sorry for my late response and thank you for watching Juanita!
The baby chick so feisty.
Ese pequeñito enfrenta a su madre por su irresponsabilidada de atrasarse con su alimento.
Un guerrero de pequeñito.
This was E1 from 2011. Spunky little guy :) Dad did this twice with him. Mom got him back the other time, this time he got back under dad on his own. HAHA happened twice on dad's watch.
It's almost like an invisible hand lifting the chick right back slowly into the next .wow
Love your comment, Stephen. Thanks for watching :)
