I just about had the same exact wording in the beginning. Shadow with the stick - l actually thought Shadow was going to place the stick necklace on Jackie. I just LOVE the way Shadow tries every Eagle trick in his book to incubate the eggs. What's there not to love about the incredible, amazing, and funny antics of Jackie and Shadow!!

Oh this is sooo hilarious!!!! Shadow doesn't want to leave and Jackie is like well if really feel like you want me to lay on you like an egg...I mean we can go that route lol! Shadow just really doesn't want to get off those eggs! We are less than a week a way from a possible pip and Shadow is on them like glue! LOLOL Never thought I'd see Jackie try to lay Shadow as an egg lol

When i finally learned that, it took a little pressure off of me.. :o/ It's never fun to get unpleasant comments tho, especially when you work hard to produce a fun product like this. I know that it takes time and work, editing, putting just the right clips together, in just the right places, and then add the story lines :o) I have watched this several times just because i need a smile... when Jackie is trying to get him off the nest, and she keeps getting closer and closer to him... and you add 'i'm going to incubate you if i have to'.. i nearly lost it! LOL cos again, that looks like exactly what's going on. She's about to sit on him! She actually has 1 leg up, next to him, like if she could figure out how, she would sit flat out on him!! LOL Yes, my humor must be very close to yours. Keep doing this... you have a talent that brings joy and smiles to people's faces... like mine! Have a blessed day sweetheart!

I'm so glad it was pointed out that Shadow was on the nest. Then when the other Eagle arrived, it then said Jackie! Gee, thank you for letting us know! Lol. Oh, just being a wise guy....I love everything about these 2 for past several years, and am becoming a little hesitant about these eggs, but not ready give up yet! Come on eaglets!

I know he does that stick annoying on purpose because my ex husband used to do stuff like that. And one time I was staying at my male friends house in Puerto Rico and he used to slam the broom STICK and mop STICK into the door 🚪 of the room where I was staying in to wake me up in the mornings. And pretend like it was by mistake he did that, but I know it was obviously on purpose. Then when I woke up he went "Oh, sorry. Did I wake you up?"😑

@kathleencollins1884 Bald Eagles take shifts on the nest. They do not sit next to each other on the nest. It is a strategy because when one sits on the nest, the other one catches something to eat and guards the nest from a nearby tree.

@tuxedomask7071 The camera is owned by Friends of Big Bear Valley. I have nothing to do with the camera light. They wrote that the light is not visible for birds and it does not disturb them at all.
