Decorah Eagles- A SCARY SITUATION FOR EAGLET D32
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 кві 2019
- This morning on 04.14.2019 Mom was on the nest bowl, when she got up D32 was stuck to her feathers somehow. Mom started to walk around the nest bowl and D32 was dragged and couldn't get unstuck from Mom's feathers. Mom then stopped and called out and DM2 came immediately to the nest. Mom turned around slowly and then flew off and D32 was loosened from her feathers. A very close call for little D32, but all is good in the nest now.Thank goodness!!

Amazing footage! Blessing of God that the little one survived. So precious how DM2 came quickly and how he encouraged D32 to come to him.
That poor baby was almost strangled to death...... So glad it got free from MOM before she flew off the nest.. What a close call for that poor baby. This is going to be an exciting yr for these little one and their parents. Im just so glad for a good out come this time. Rest up little eaglet, you deserve lots of it.
I held my breath watching this. Wow. My goodness that was scary. So relieved all is well. 👍💖
Oh my.. Close call and D32 is incredibly resilient ❣️😘
It always surprises me. Eagle parents are so gentle and so good at protecting when an intruder comes around, but do not seem to know how to help their babies when they get in trouble.
Hola
Bcoz they all are just stupid birds .
What is it supposed to do?
I wonder if the mother assumed he was alright since he wasn't calling to her or making any stressful calls. I was certainly on the edge of my seat worrying he wasn't going to make it back in the bowl. Thank the Lord he did! 🙏🏻 🦅
Word on the street that D32 is swooping down and picking up elephants for brunch on the daily.
That was so frightening. Poor baby bird. It is so sad when they don't realize one of their young are in trouble. He was so lucky.....help from above is what got him back in the safety zone. l was on edge until he ducked under the feathers AGAIN. Gulp!!!! Thank you for sharing. 🍃🌎🦅
No it's hilarious
@@stellviahohenheim Always fascinating when cruel people dig an audience.
Thank God for this beautiful baby.
What a brave little one. D32 will be a survivor. There is no doubt in my mind DM2 is a great father and protector. He looked as if he was going to turn D32 over, but chose not to, but did keep an eye on her. He might have done more harm than good. Good job, you two! Thank you for posting this so quickly!
The bird is not “brave”. It turned itself over. Period.
@@Arieskie Can't believe the anthropomorphicizing that happens in the nest comment sections. True story: few days ago, I read threats/ill wishes towards an eaglet who pushed his/her sibling from the nest amid scarce food situation. These were not in jest. People are {insert adjective not pertaining to animals}.

That made my heart do some double beats. Thankfully there was a good outcome.
are u serious go get ur heart check ur such a weak person but hey no offence
This is a strong little one ❤
Thats true
Ooooh scary indeed!! Thankfully the jerk motion just before mom flew off helped free this poor baby!! ❤
I was on the edge of my seat watching this. Thank God he got free💖
Poor D32. S/he struggled so hard and then was all pooped out. Life is often so hard for our eagles. We have much to be thankful for at this nest. So sweet that DM2 checked on D32 and then let D32 work it out. Alls well that ends well.
So thankful he was strong enough to free himself and get upright. Strong baby saved himself. Daddy saw to it he got under him for warmth and protection.
That was all daddy did. Someone call birdie CPS.
Strong little baby! 💕💞💕
poor baby! looked like he was choking. i was so afraid that she’d fly off with him attached. thank God he got loose just as she left.
Yes, I was scared because on one of the nests several years ago, the same thing happened! But the little one couldn't get untangled and mom flew off and the baby dropped to the ground. :( It was so sad because that little one was so perky. Scary when this happens. THANK GOD he loosened from Mom before she took off!!

u guys go watch a baby eagle getting eaten by the mother instead
What a bad adventure poor little one, but all is well what endes well. 🦅💕💕💕💕💕💕
Amazing how precarious life can be. Who would think of such a situation arising? A feather!
Thank God he got free!! I watched this same thing happen at another nest from years back and mom flew off with the eaglet stuck to her and she returned with no eaglet😭 What a horrible way to go!! So scary! I'm so glad this eaglet is ok!!

I saw that video too. The baby got stuck and was lost. 😪
Да такое видео существует. Смотрела его, орлëнка было жалко...
I remember seeing that one, I was so disappointed I didn't continue watching. It certainly doesn't follow that bigger birds have bigger brains. I've seen smaller parents accidentally push out a chick whilst arranging themselves to sit on them. They look back at the chick falling out and over, and it doesn't seem to register even though they watched it happen. I've also seen this with an egg fumbled out of the nest, they see it, but then turn away. Doesn't seem to register with the parent. Of course, there were more than a few very poorly constructed nests which were not successful in keeping everyone aboard.
He loves hanging around mom...gulp🥺
Poor eaglet had to resolve his own problem. So stressful!!!
That was gut wrenching.
Finally he managed to get mama's warmth and love
Wow. Right up to & including her take off this could have gone either way. Whew, close one
Köszönöm a lehetőséget a készítők fáradságos munkáját
Bravo tiny....you are so brave....
Poor little one had to get himself back up and under the parent’s warmth. He looked cold.
Tangled in moms feathers ! Got out now stuck in branches for nest ! Saved itself ! Eaglet ! GV ! 🦅
👏👏👏👏👏good for this little one
The little man really fought his way,dad tried, but u know what the little engine said😁
The sure will of survival! God love it🙏🏻
Funny when he just tumbled in under mom 😁
looks older so strong!
Amazed that the parents did nothing for that little one. Just as well the little one had the smarts or he/she would have frozen.
Thank God he's ok😀👍

It's just chance, not experience.

It's always really sad for me, when I come across ppl who choose to instigate an argument, a pointless one that has nothing to do with the content, to get a rise out of users in comments sections on UA-cam... We're all here together appreciating the beauty of eagles, & some sad miserable soul walks in yelling that people have imaginary friends. I hope that person has found something way more fulfilling & warm for their spare headspace & time ❤️ Can't imagine watching something incredibly rare like this, and still feeling in the mood to argue. Then again, I personally love the amount of spirituality some lucky people feel when they connect with a part of nature that's struck them as especially amazing.
Wishing all of you most beautiful things in this year to come 💞
Once 32 got loose it still looked for sure she/he wouldn't get back in the nest bowl. Such a close call. I remember 32 being a strong and feisty eaglet - luck to have survived the broken leg later.
I almost perished now I'm on my back I fallen and I can't get up
Little Ray Ray made it!
The situation is so hard for the babies...no one help them.
But thank God.
"God" is a fucking fictional character. That eaglet's strength and determination is what saved it. Only the strong survive in the wildlife.
Stacy geez, settle down. You’ve said that after every person that said thank God in this thread. Maybe God is fictional to you, maybe others have different beliefs. Maybe this was a figure of speech!!!
@@rachelmerz2122 oh my God!! Lmao. She has been fishing for a debate. You took the bait!!! Let's see if the fishing pole is being watched!!!! Cheers Rachel. Stay safe from covid 19
🙏🏻🙏🏻 THANK GOODNESS HE IS OK 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Amazing. What is the difference between the Golden Eagles in USA & these Deborah? To my untrained yet they look the same. Thank you. Whew!! Very stressful & I was urging the little fellow on.
Golden eagles are beautiful! Here is a link to Audubon about Golden eagles www.audubon.org/news/is-golden-eagle-actually-bald-eagle
Either the chick or one of the parents got fish blood on the feather and that acted as glue. as the mother laid on the chick the blood dried and the bird became attached.
Gracias
They can pick up big sticks....heavy fish...small animals....but they just CAN'T SEEM to reach over and pick up their chick.....Good ol' bird brains.
Maybe they want their Children to find the solution and overcome by themselves. That the Rule to be survived in wild.
That's not how nature works. The mother isn't going to be interested in a chick that doesn't have the strength to pick itself up
I was thinking the same thought! They use there beaks for so many things, but when it comes to their chicks’ they can’t do anything but watch!?
I saw one video where to eagle chicks walked out of nest, then mother picked one of them back to the nest.
@@conniec2291 oh bull. Stop giving birds (of all things) human critical thinking skills. They are birds. Notice the size of the brain?? Dumb as hell.
dear God that was exhausting to watch-tough life for these little eaglets-glad he's back under Mom/Dad again
Way to go pop!
I got worked up seeing the baby eaglet resolving the situation by himself it's true eagle protect their babies but w it comes to pick them up w they get caught up in a situation only the strong survives👍🤔❤
A little fighter didn't give up.
How did it get stuck in the first place
Parabéns e sucesso para seu canal no UA-cam e que Deus sempre os abençoe a todos
Wow that was a close call great mom as she was telling him somethings wrong here
I remember this happening a few years ago, the outcome wasn't as good as this though
That poor thing is in freaking shock
cute👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
wow. Does this happen often?
Not really, but eaglets do get into some unfortunate situations sometimes.
Was the baby stuck in the feathers and was chocked
Someone help that little Eaglets please ?? The parents aren't caring for it
Survival of the fittest
this can be a advertisment of super glue )))
Tough little bird. 💪
Nice
Can't the dad push d32 over with his beak so he can get back on his feet?
what is surprising - the birds don't intervene even when it is clearly an easy task
Poor thing looks like it can't breath
Maybe that will teach him not to be mean to his smaller siblings lol
That eagle just stands there watching it suffer, Animals can be so heartless at times. At least flip it right side up.
Possibly eagle patents who looked after weak chicks or sick chicks ended up with none of their brood surviving ap evolution selected for only really strong eagle chicks surviving and parents who dont help weed out weaker chicks faster
I just came across this video & am extremely thankful the chick got free, but,, What was the chick caught in? I find Many feathers in my yard including a lot Hawk feathers & none of them have a loop of any kind to get caught in. I can't figure this out At All??
Moms feathers likely got sticky from the fish after feeding the eaglets and the feathers sticking together tip to tip forming a loop.
Poor dude was chokin lol
Whew!!!🙀
Great
I wonder if blood from the dead dinner there got on one if them ??? Blood is stcky.
Whew! That was a close one.
Mantap
Maybe a little of the prey's clotted blood stayed on his head. The eagle could have been stained with the blood when it was on the prey tearing it apart
Looked like Hang'em High, scary stuff, but if Clint Eastwood can survive so can the little fellow.
👏

How come the dad is not helping mom to free D32????
i watch a few eagle cams and it seems the eaglets this year are having some drama in their little lives. Poor babies

8:51 So she was prepared to let her eaglet die if it couldn't navigate to the bowl on its own power?
They carry heavy prey to their nest, I still don’t understand why they can’t carry or pull their babies in trouble.
This happened in another nest a few years ago, except for the mom eagle flew off the nest with her tangled up chick and returned without it.
Wanted the eagle to fart while he sat on the eaglets(chemical weapon gas attack)
🥺
