Now I see a nice outstanding performance by FDNY....THATS THE KIND OF EFFORTS THAT I WANT TO HEAR....RIP ALL 5 HUMAN BEING ONE OF THEM A DALLAS TX FF....AND KUDOS FOR ALL OF FDNY
Your nephew is going to have a long great career with FDNY communications division, I'm sure there were others dispatchers helping him, but his ability to keep all of the units straight was just amazing!
Not being funny but does it really matter? Being submerged under water for that long unfortunately all were technically dead when they were brought to the shoreline. One of them who died was a Texas firefighter on vacation in NYC. There was a comment posted on another video that there may have been issues with the safety harnesses which is ironic as they usually fail. One of the divers had issues releasing them. I could not begin to imagine the terror these folks felt for the few seconds they were conscious. The theory that the diver had issues trying to release the harnesses could be true because if anyone knows how dire the ibcident was it would have been that firefighter on vacation. No one will ever know though. Sorry for the ones who lost their lives and the families who suffered because there loved ones are gone. Side note there have been a couple of helicopter incidents in the Hudson RIver and I think this one is where the helicopter pilot was able to self extricate and survived.
Wow. That dispatcher is incredible.
The best fire department in the world
Car 3 is Chief Leonard, chief of the department. Also the dispatcher was fucking ON POINT

"Manhattan 346" needs a special award for putting up with all the damn chiefs that don't seem to know what they are doing.
Manhattan 346 is my nephew. He’s a great kid. And I do mean kid. Probably the youngest dispatcher they’ve got.

Two dead at the scene, three die at the hospital but I'm just wondering which two died at the scene?
