That is on purpose. Even up into the 90s, the quality of artists was very different than what we are seeing and hearing now. I appreciate good music, but I'm no expert --- don't have to be to recognize the dominance of one-note whining coming out of these AI "artists" now. He was among many GB artist that stated all of their music originated in the deep south regions of America. These people been mimicking our sounds for decades as a inspiration to their musical sound, but at least they admitted it and pay homage to it. Even the Rappers sample a lot of our music back in the day and had R&B singers as background vocals. Without our sound and music, all music would not exist as it is today. When we read about our people's history, we confidently understand and can defend our culture. Reading needs to include biographies of these individuals to get a comprehensive context of what our people endured and prevailed over... Wikipedia summaries can't do that.

There were non-FBAs that contributed as well to include Harry Bellefonte, Sidney Portier, Colin Powel...all interestingly married at one point to FBA women. When we read about our people's history, we confidently understand and can defend our culture. Reading needs to include biographies of these individuals to get a comprehensive context of what our people endured and prevailed over... Wikipedia summaries can't do that.
