  • The South African singer, Tyla, is a better fit for White Americans than she is for Black Americans. Her attitude and disposition hits many Black Americans wrong.

We have them but they have an agenda of a African and Caribbean takeover of American Blacks culture and music in America at this point. It's up to us to stick to our own people and our own cultures in America. From GB to SA are doing this and demanding their countries be loyal to their citizens first. We don't owe them our loyalty nor our pocket books. Check these people's background out, because a lot them are not us and when they get on top, they claim their true lineages and make salty remarks about ours. Hint: Akon and Busta Rhymes to name a few!

That is on purpose. Even up into the 90s, the quality of artists was very different than what we are seeing and hearing now. I appreciate good music, but I'm no expert --- don't have to be to recognize the dominance of one-note whining coming out of these AI "artists" now. You know it when you literally hear the same song all day and can not tell who is who. I just went to listen to that song I believe Tyla won the award for (Water?) -- not 100 on it; but I heard NOTHING original sounding in that song... NOTHING.

He went straight to the deep south and learn how to sing and play a more blues type of sound based off it, in which today we all know as rock and roll music. He was among many GB artist that stated all of their music originated in the deep south regions of America. He even visited Arthea Franklin's father's church, when she song in the church choir and he also produced James Brown Documentary with Chadwick Boseman. These people been mimicking our sounds for decades as a inspiration to their musical sound, but at least they admitted it and pay homage to it. Even the Rappers sample a lot of our music back in the day and had R&B singers as background vocals. Without our sound and music, all music would not exist as it is today. This is the root of their problem with us because their corruption of music is not the same as the creation of music in, which the Americans are renown for.

Sure, they like her "physique" but I don't get the impression they are rushing to see her in concert or buy her music. Maybe Tyla thinks she's the next Beyonce? or Rihanna? I dunno. Why do the powers that shouldn't be think black people have no standards. They do. They actually do.

Same for Alicia Keys the thing is they stand on their Blackness. Mariah blew up a billion Dollar marriage standing on her blackness when she could have just passed. Tyla doing what she did on the Breakfast Club is going to taint Her forever. Not to mention. I’m old(😂). These Kids are a lot more aware than People might think. They are going to remember.

We need to reinforce knowing our FBA history that shapes our unique culture to include reading about Langton Hughes, the Harlem Renaissance, Frederick Douglas, Paul Robeson, Lena Horne, MLK (of course), Maya Angelou, etc. (the list goes on). There were non-FBAs that contributed as well to include Harry Bellefonte, Sidney Portier, Colin Powel...all interestingly married at one point to FBA women. When we read about our people's history, we confidently understand and can defend our culture. Reading needs to include biographies of these individuals to get a comprehensive context of what our people endured and prevailed over... Wikipedia summaries can't do that.

Chris Brown is trying to push African artist and even touring with them. Yet they continue to make disparaging comments about Americans as a whole. This is not American Blacks issue nor problem but rather the music industry needing our validation for these people in America. Remember we are the so called land, property, the home of the brave, land of Liberty, the land of milk and honey that they must trick or convince our approval for. Right now these whites ain't really "studdin" her nor her music. Why? We are not putting her on nor validating her. You do know how powerful we are? I do think black Americans have a strong influence and Tyla came at them sideways, and she gets what she gets. the colored things are not something you write home about in Africa we know colored means chasing the nonblack side that don't want you. thus, it's not offensive but to the Boers you are black in Europe you are black. In Africa the majority is black so we can tolerate this behavior but not take it too seriously. Trevor Noah, Thandie Newton, guy on Bridgeton are all southern Africans that are celebrities in America. all biracial but call themselves black. Also, south Africa is only African country with coloreds' people from the horn of Africa look biracial but identify as black and African. Also, they probably tried, and she probably wanted to be marketed to white but they shut that shit down. After she gets black approval, she can try to get white recognition but if Mariah Carey is not marketed to white Tyla is a far stretch. Her behavior at the VMA's was repulsive hold your award girl Halle is the same weight and frame. In SA she breaks awards because no one is her maid.

Foreigners are brought in by US government and both Kamala and Trump said there's more of that. The top 10% are not putting up with unionizing Starbucks and $25 dollars as minimum wage. Hence they are replacing workers for cheap labor. Ados/FBA/OBA are entitled to be elitist however that won't solve the foreign problem. Look at Canada they tried to make sure the black African Caribbean population is over shadowed by asians and that happened there were 67000 Asians in 2000 now there are millions. Black Africans acclamate for the most part Asians take over. European Canadians woke up to this too late hence the protests. In Tylas case I can't disagree with lady boule I think she is better marketed to the Dominican Republic because just like her they are no black they Dominican except in Spain where you are negra and have to shut up.
Foreigners do not take anything from black Americans at least not Southern Africans they pay to come here. The US and systemic racism takes away resources from black Americans. You mean to tell me without talking to the crew in Springfield Ohio can tell ladyboule from pet eating Haitian.
