Important video. Fela Kuti talked about the colonial mentality back in the 70s. A form of internalized oppression resulting from colonization. Manifesting in the belief of ethnic, linguistic, and cultural inferiority. In other words, the colonizer has socially programmed black folks to hate themselves and their identity. This is a global issue among black folks within the diaspora. However, individuals who are conscious, alert, and free of the mental chains have the mental strength to combat injustice. The new leader of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traore, is following in the footsteps of the late Thomas Sankara. Thomas Sankara encouraged independence, literacy, and economic equality, eradicating poverty and hunger, and addressing social problems. Unfortunately, Sankara was killed by his so-called "best friend" who was a puppet of the French. Almost EVERY African leader who fought for the improvement and justice of their country was assassinated by a crook ordered by a colonizer - France, Belgium, British, Portuguese, etc. The colonizer uses money for bribes. Dangles the money for greedy insurgents to do their bidding. It takes a strong mind, and a disciplined mind to go against the colonizer orders. Black people/people of Afro descent are going to unite. We have the resources, the goods, the services to prosper economically. United we stand, divided we fall!
It’d be great, but so many black folks in the Diaspora want us to advocate for them without helping us. That’s what an alliance is. It’s for mutual benefit and not just one side doing while others just sit back.
They don't realize in modern countries citizens are actually not supposed to work themselves to death. The best European countries don't even give their kids homework yet they are bilingual. They give adequate vacation days and healthcare even their prisons are nicer in Norway and Switzerland. The idea that you are supposed to be in survival mode all the time is a sign of toxic traits of poor government.
Even bragging about working harder than other people in a new country is weird and steeped in white supremacy like why would any black person want to prove to white people that they work harder than other black people. It's more slave minded than one thinks.
I am an ADOS and have long held onto an African consciousness. I was taught young about some of the African tribes and remember my parents boycotting Shell gas over the treatment of the South African Natives. I have followed African diapora news and cast my vote in American elections to mitigate harm to black Africans. I have been sorely dispapointed that Continental Africans and Carribean Africans have largely sought to separate themselves from African Americans of the ADOS lineage. I think our leaders of yesteryear, like John Henrik Clark, would be appalled at the divisions among African descended people. Thank you for this measage Lady Boule . Africa is the land of my ancestors and I wish her well (in particular people like the leader of Burkina Faso fighting off the imperialiast aims of the colonizer and the Hazda people whose ancient way od life is threatened). African leaders would do well to read The Destuction of Black Civilzation by Chancellor Williams as they are starting to repeat the destructive patterns that led to earlier losses of black civilization.
I feel your disappointment but you can't continue with this vitriol in your heart towards other people whether black, white, or brown. For instance, the Whites took up arms against one another and massacred themselves just to emancipate you, you couldn't and didn't free yourself! Of course, there is still work to be done, but this should be largely within the black community first. The lack of personal accountability within the Black American community is too egregious. The victim mentality and blaming is sickening. These are some of the reasons why Africans can't relate with them. This is not to deny that there's racism and discrimination in America, but the BA community is a mess. The content that this low IQ old lady puts out only worsens an already bad situation.

Preach Lady Boule 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. When they run, they are called "joppa". That's a read worth 4 snaps up 😂. My heart and prayers go out to Abrahim Traore, President of Burkina Faso. Yes, they keep trying to take him out. I'm so glad the Lord is covering him. Stokely Carmichael was really on the "war path" with "X"
They are correct. We are from the tribe of Shem and we migrated into Africa due to war and mayhem from the Arabs, Persian, Greeks, etc. The Bible says we will be scattered and hated by everyone
Julius malema and the president of Burkina faso are trying to change that and make it one Africa across triba and country lines. I'm glad lady boule is calling this BS out.l

It's why I fully believe this content is the work of agents. At a time when Europe and the West is uniting, content that separates our Diaspora is being pushed on a platform not owned or controlled by us. Put two and two together. Africans have fought harder for the Diaspora than any single one of these vloggers.
My father and his family live in Maryland , we fellow ADOS know exactly what you're saying 🔹️ it's sad that black folks in Africa don't realize what they have
Lady Boule, Your assessment is very accurate. I am an African who believes in Black People moving & operating as a United people. The very few of us with this mindset are ganged up upon and in my case ostracized from African communities. It is dangerous for us to live amongst our people. That is how deep this runs. Black people on & from the continent would rather fight and kill other black people while protecting non-black people. Those of us who were born outside of Africa are at even greater risk. In Africa, non-black people are protected and free to move about all over Africa as they choose without any risk of harm. But if those of us who are born outside of Africa do the same or try to setup businesses or other institutions, there is a higher chance of us at best getting robbed & at worse being unalived. This is the reality & you have told no lies.
This truth has to be told boldly and clearly and you did it so well, Lady Boule. As a Jamaican, I agree that for Pan-Africanism to work properly, the Black African Continent has to be capable of seeing the collective benefit in it and decide to come together as one unified force. Without that positive mindset it would be like trying to climb an insurmountable hill. Hopefully, attitude will change for the better in my lifetime but I am not holding my breath on that! Perhaps we the black diaspora in the Americas can start setting the right example for Africa and see where it leads ...

You were with the wrong guys. Remember that black Africans there are English, french, Spanish and even Arabic speaking ones. And we're like almost 2 billion on this planet. My God you said a mouth full today!! A longtime, very close friend of mine ( a retired college history professor ).. used to debate, converse and then agree about what has been going on in Africa ever since the slave trade. Africa has been sliced and diced by European countries for a few hundred yrs and the different countries on the continent had and still have, a difficult time uniting as one nation.

Been around Africans in the US. They like it here because the living is easy. One person I was told couldn't go back because his family tried to overthrow the ruling party. He didn't say, but other Africans have said why he can't go back. We fought the fight, and they trash us but receive the benefits. I am a native Californian, and so are my paternal great-grandparents. Some have southern roots like Kentucky, New Orleans, LA, plus German and Italian roots. But we are descendants of slaves in ancestry. Kevin Johnson(nba,ex mayor of Sacramento)plus Cornell West are distant relatives. We were the first blacks here in the region.

You're very wrong to judge an entire continent of 1.4 billion people as against Pan-Africanism. I'm African and I'm totally for a united Africa and unity amongst black people world wide. The issue isn't if all Black people are for it, but how their educational system raises them to be. You must recognise most educational system in Africa and doesn't teach Pan-Africanism and there are 2 reasons why. One is because originally Africans didn't need it prior to europeans invading them, and the second reason is after the european invasion the europeans imposed their own educational system in Africa while also controlling and influencing African governments to stop Africans from fighting european but instead having them seeking partnership. People like me want to see that changed but its gonna take a fight to achieve that and that's why people like Ibrahim Traore has had several assisnation attempts on his life while also people like Malcolm X have been assassinated trying to unite black people world wide. There are people trying to destroy black unity because of financial reasons. They are getting paid to destroy it (like the terrorist groups in Africa for example) or they would lose a lot of money like France and the US getting kicked out of the AES region.
I'd also like to add Black Americans complaining that all African are against Pan-Africanism is as dumb as Africans saying all Black Americans are against Black unity in America

Pan Africanism is a Western phenomenon that has been upheld mostly by Black Americans . There was a glimmer of light for Pan Africanism during the African independence movement but once they removed those leaders it was over. The most revolutionary leaders of Africa like Kwame Nkrumah, Nnamdi Azikiwe and others learned Pan Africanism and Black history studying at HBCU’s under our great teachers like William Leo Hansberry. Pan Africanism will never work until Africa embraces it. I think Black Americans should primarily focus on our issues and work with Africans and Carribeans who are aligned with black empowerment but uniting a whole continent is impractical at the moment.
There are many Pan-African organizations in Africa, including those that focus on political, economic, social, and cultural issues: Pan-African Association Founded in 1897 by Henry Sylvester Williams, this organization was created to protect and promote the interests of people of African descent in British colonies and other places. The organization is best known for organizing the First Pan-African Conference in London in 1900. Pan-African Council This organization aims to unite Africa and its diaspora through international cooperation in the political, economic, and social spheres. Pan-Africanism This movement is based on the idea that people of African descent should unite to develop strategies against racial injustice, inequality, and colonialism in Africa. The movement gained wider recognition in 1945 after the Fifth Pan-African Congress in Manchester, UK. Pan African Organisation for Research and Protection of violence on women and children This organization's mission is to research, organize, and support human rights organizations, women, and youth groups that work to end violence against women and children. PanAfrican Farmers Organization (PAFO) This organization supports smallholder farmers.
@@Jay-Kay-Buwembo Of course there are organizations but those organizations are outliers. I pray that they are successful in spreading the message of unification but Pan Africanism has never been embraced on a wide scale in Africa. That’s why there is so much division today. Pan Africanism has always been centered around the Western world (specifically Black America). That’s unfortunate because it should be a movement centered in Africa!
I am an economic minded FBA. I have taken the time to research how black people are doing financially in every country. What I discovered is that there is an oil and water difference in the mindsets of groups of blacks that have faced direct WS namely FBA and Black South Africans versus all other blacks who whether they realize it or not face indirect WS. From an economic standpoint FBA are by far the wealthiest group of blacks. From an economic standpoint Black South Africans are by far the most advanced group of blacks on the continent of Africa. Both of those respective groups CHOSE TO STAY IN THEIR RESPECTIVE HOMELANDS AND FIGHT THEIR OPPRESSORS FOR BETTER LIVES. Unity can be achieved via oppression. That is what happened for us and for them. The result is a group consciousness of "we." FBAs are black 1st...religion 2nd....nationality 3rd...tribe 4th. Same for the Black South Africans. The rest of the continental Africans are Tribe 1st...Religion 2nd...Nationality 3rd...Black race 4th. Because of the difference in our totem pole of priorities...The non South African Continental African and the non-FBA diasporan...boil down mentally into Aesop's Grasshopper. They are locust minded. Instead of digging beneath their feet and using their mineral resources to build up their respective nations, they look for greener pastures. They pay smugglers to get them into Europe. They overstay their visas in the US. They guilt trip black South Africans real heavy. They don't want to build up Nigeria...they want to set up shop in South Africa...call the South Africans "lazy" and send remittances back to Nigeria. Exactly the same way they do FBAs over here. The reason FBAs and Black South Africans "vibe" is because of the similarities of our histories. We share the same mindset. Underneath it all Foundational Black Americans ARE PROUD of the accomplishments and sacrifices of our ancestors. Because of the work they put in for us NOT ONE OF THE 50 MILLION OF US HAS TO LEAVE OUR COUNTRY FOR A BETTER LIFE. We don't even understand the concept of fleeing. We view it as the abject cowardice it truly is. We can be mistaken as xenophobic, when the truth is we are lowkey NATIONALISTIC. We just don't refer to ourselves as such...but it is true. Same for the black South Africans...they do not have to leave South Africa for a better life. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of the black race are locust minded people. They do not care to be Pan African...they are all about themselves...and stepping on and over whichever native population of blacks is already established in the country that gives them a J-Visa.
So you don't see the similarity of the great migration north out of the South to the migration of Africans into the West? You big up the South Africans but where is the proof that you can claim that they subscribe to the same pan-African mindset as you? Also the statistics for black South Africans are damning in regards to poverty, crime, rape etc. Yes many of us have been forced to migrate into Europe and America to escape dead end regimes in Africa that are being financed by the West by the way. Even the Chinese enter Western Universities at high rates for education before returning to China, not all return but the difference is China is a sovereign nation with a stable government who are commited to its development. Africa features 54 colonialy constructed States that largely haven't moved on from the former colonial economic models which leads to High unemployment and other ills. In Uganda 🇺🇬 teenagers and young adults are murdered by the state for staging peaceful protests. The president has an armed militia, tanks, guns etc. Migrating out of the fckry becomes the best option. Many have even been able to bring more prosperity home after migrating and setting up in the West.
I may not always agree with the way you speak your truth. However, some of the points you make about the lack of unity and tribal mindset of Africans to the Pan African cause is indisputable. This lack of unity and weak leadership in Africa allows for easy access to it's resources and exploitation of it's people by outsiders. Mansa Musa and Tippu Tip were two examples of this personal over collective interests that has costs the continent dearly. unfortunately this kind of leadership still reigns supreme in many parts of the black continent. That's why North Africa is no longer "African" and Southern Africa is progressively heading in the same direction. For those Africans who choose to run instead of staying to fight, please enter with caution when sharing the spaces with blacks in the Western hemisphere. I say, be guarded in your opinions about and have a healthy respect for those who have spent centuries fighting within the belly of the beast.
Even when black American folk take leadership positions in Amerikkka. Y'all still manage to fuck shit up. Kwame KilPatrick? And the rest of the corrupt black judges and myaors 😂.
"The understanding we share is how America works". 🎯 💯🇺🇸 ... "It's complicated everywhere!" 😭 And you're right about those of us who were already here. We had the same experience too. So anyone mentioning it is purposely being obtuse to derail the discussion's focus. Both ethnic groups have been legally + socially grouped together for hundreds of years. I know this because I'm a blend of both Free Indigenous Black American people + People of African ancestry who were enslaved. Black Americans in history understood how this country operates so, we unified and did what was necessary to thrive including fighting subjugation. Even the Caribbeans historically stayed on code when they immigrated to the mainland. They unified with the overall Black American culture. This explains why Pan-Africanism has been a necessity for us in the Americas. Continental Africans do not have the same history of being legally obligated to remain segregated into all Black neighborhoods within a predominantly white nation, so they just cannot mentally comprehend Pan-Africanism. The concept is not in many of their cultures. South Africa is one of the few that has openly supported Pan-Africanism but we see how Africans from other countries are mistreating them, SMH.
I disagree 80 t0 90% of Africans have NO Running WATER, No sewage system or Electricity....Progress Waits for for NO ONE!!! Look @ the 1.5 Billion Chinese, they got it Together!!!! 14 African Countries has NO Stock Exchange!!!And France prints 14 African Countries money!!!!!!!!

Outside influence is recognizable and historically is allowed to infiltrate the masses over and over again. 5:11 I agree. Rather than flee, Africans need to fix their homeland. It is easier to take advantage of the developed resources and opportunities in America and Europe than wrangle with corrupt officials and build things when not surrounded by money and technical people. 4:03 I lived in Africa, has some classes and broke bread with many tribes. The brutal part of colonization is not taught in school. Colonization is made to seem mild akin to how civil rights movement was sanitized. European and American cultured is gloried. Missionaries as be nun who started school and helped children are gloried. Brutality is never taught. So of course the average African will view colonizers in a positive light. You watch FBA on TV, so do African. What images of FBA do TV shows present? Now you know why they view us as they do.
It's clear that culture forms stronger bonds that race. Look what happened when they send former slaves to the US to Liberia. They fell back into the way they have been taught by the master. Panafricanism is a good idea but it's not really practical at this point in time yet. Look who the south Africans voted back into power. Another example Nigeria has a brand new refinery build by one of their own but they refuse to sell him crude oil but do sell it to foreign corporations to refine and buy it back from them. Rwanda and Uganda are attacking the Congo and benefitting from it. The only countries afaik uniting and taking steps in the right direction are Burkina Faso Mali and Niger.

Talk BLACK to Me!!!!!!!!
It’s so plain to see exactly what Lady Boyle is saying .
Missionary school control brainwash.
Marcus Garvey understood that unity was necessary. It still is.
Marcus Garvey understood that he had to come to America if he wanted his ideas to work!
Jamaicans elected a white president over Marcus Garvey thats why Marcus Garvey left Jamaica and lived his last day in UK....
It’d be great, but so many black folks in the Diaspora want us to advocate for them without helping us. That’s what an alliance is. It’s for mutual benefit and not just one side doing while others just sit back.
“Because they don’t want that fight on their hands,” That part right there!
But they still got it, smh.
You are 100% right lady Boule.
Once again, you hit the nail on the head. Your video was so timely and priceless.

We fought for the U.S. it’s ours to be lazy or to continue to build and shape it

The only thing i can say my sister is Bravo. It needed to be said wish more of our people would do the same Bravo

Lady Boule,
Your assessment is very accurate.

I agree with you Lady Boule. However, there some exceptions to this. Kenyans for instance are standing up and fighting for their rights and country.
But there are 53 other countries in Africa 😮
There are many Pan-African organizations in Africa, including those that focus on political, economic, social, and cultural issues:
Pan-African Association
Founded in 1897 by Henry Sylvester Williams, this organization was created to protect and promote the interests of people of African descent in British colonies and other places. The organization is best known for organizing the First Pan-African Conference in London in 1900.
Pan-African Council
This organization aims to unite Africa and its diaspora through international cooperation in the political, economic, and social spheres.
Pan-Africanism
This movement is based on the idea that people of African descent should unite to develop strategies against racial injustice, inequality, and colonialism in Africa. The movement gained wider recognition in 1945 after the Fifth Pan-African Congress in Manchester, UK.
Pan African Organisation for Research and Protection of violence on women and children
This organization's mission is to research, organize, and support human rights organizations, women, and youth groups that work to end violence against women and children.
PanAfrican Farmers Organization (PAFO)
This organization supports smallholder farmers.

The result is a group consciousness of "we."
FBAs are black 1st...religion 2nd....nationality 3rd...tribe 4th.
First ❤
The entire continent is named after a yt man. Let that sink in.
Like America named after a white man . That sunk in.
America named after a white man. Let that sink in.
💯
Fighting within the belly of the beast, with almost always no assistance from the motherland. I agree with you.
Even when black American folk take leadership positions in Amerikkka. Y'all still manage to fuck shit up.
Kwame KilPatrick? And the rest of the corrupt black judges and myaors 😂.
"The understanding we share is how America works". 🎯 💯🇺🇸 ... "It's complicated everywhere!" 😭
And you're right about those of us who were already here.
Africa is just too big with too many people to get along. Africas time to shine will come in a hundred years.
@@Dr.Sharron Fckery 😂😂😂😂😂
are you an adult or a child?
What are your arguments based on? The Bible? Who told you the Bible was a historical book?
Show me some historical evidence. Only idiots can believe that god had a son from a virgin
You are basing your argument on the slave owners' books.
As Dr. Clarke said: "How can a slave and his master have the same god?"
It doesn’t look good for Africa because not only the Europeans are there eating off of them. The Chinese are there too. The Arabs never left.
I feel this way too. Although I identify as Pan African, the African continent is very diverse and I’m not sure if it’s a reality anytime soon for the continent.
Reading THE DESTRUCTION OF BLACK CIVILIZATION: Great Issues of a race from 4500 B.C. To 2000A.D. BY Chancellor Williams years ago was a real eye opener it touches on very same things you just talked about.
Great video coverage Queen school is in session
I’m pan African and proud
👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
Thank you for bringing issues about President Traore. He needs HELP.
“When the Missionaries arrived, the Africans had the land and the Missionaries had the Bible. They taught how to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible.” Jomo Kenyatta
Thanks for this!
I was once a pan Africanist. But as a south african i see that it is only us who are forced to be pan africanist while nigerians are very tribal and nationalistic. We are the most progressive country in Africa to our detriment. Our ancestors died and fought for our land. Africa is riddled with terrorism, tribalism, poverty, and dictatorships, yet they want a boderless Africa 😂
So true. That's why I didn't support that pan african shit from the beginning
@kingc6175 If it happens, it happens. I don't sweat things that are out of my area of influence.
@kingc6175 I wouldn't say I know. But I have several theories. Outside interference and internal weaknesses. It is the broadest answer i have.
@kingc6175 you know its internal weaknesses, but you are too weak to admit
@@kingc6175
"Weak" is to repeatedly have different nations, Western, Eastern and whoever else pretends to be friends of African people; use the continent as a cheap prostitute. This has to be stopped and with 54 countries and at least 75% of the population would benefit the continent. Outside influence is recognizable and historically is allowed to infiltrate the masses over and over again. At some point, it appears to have become accepted by some that is detrimental to many people.
5:11 I agree. Rather than flee, Africans need to fix their homeland.
It is easier to take advantage of the developed resources and opportunities in America and Europe than wrangle with corrupt officials and build things when not surrounded by money and technical people. One Africa told me he regret returning home. But again, it is better they fix their homeland.
I'm definitely about to start looking into a different country to call home because this can easily happen in the U.S as well.
It’s already happened and we survived it and yes it can happen again. It’s a little different for us - I think there is more of an anti Black immigrant whereas with us we’ve been here they can’t really say to go anywhere.
We don’t run, we stay and fight! That’s the difference between black Americans and Black Africans.
But don't go to Africa since you hate THEM so much. Maybe Europe? Oh wait , that would also be hypocritical of you since you're supporting the narrative that there's no racism there. What about Asia? Hmmm. Even worse.
😂
4:03 I lived in Africa, has some classes and broke bread with many tribes. The brutal part of colonization is not taught in school. Colonization is made to seem mild akin to how civil rights movement was sanitized. European and American cultured is gloried. Missionaries as be nun who started school and helped children are gloried. Brutality is never taught. So of course the average African will view colonizers in a positive light. You watch FBA on TV, so do African. What images of FBA do TV shows present? Now you know why they view us as they do.
That was powerful and sharp 👏 👌
LET'S PREPARE TO ADDRESS THIS ONCE AND FOR AT ANGOLA 2O29. ... ANGOLA 2O29: THE CLOSING OUT OF THE 2019-2029 DECADE OF RETURN AND THE OPENING OF THE 2029-2039 DECADE OF MENTAL HEALTH WELLNESS AND HEALING FOR THE AFRIKAN WORLD. ... WE CAN DO THIS!! ... LET US COME TO THE TABLE OF LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING.
🙏🙏
Those in Africa don't call themselves African but they want us in America to ourselves African Americana.....lol
Not all of us lmaoooo stop the cap yall are black americans!
Who said they wanted you to call yourself that?
Isn't that the title given to you by your masters there? Which box do you check under the "race" section?
That's right. Africans put it there, correct? 😂
This part made me spit out my soda @ 11:42 🤣🤣🤣 because I said the same thing. We go against our own interests.
Tribal wars existed even before colonisation. Colonisation just highlighted our division.
