Our Story:
We are six years into a seven year effort of transforming 20 acres of "Piney Grove" in Northwest Florida into our dream homestead/mini farm to be filled with animals and joy. We plan to have a variety of miniature critters on our pastures, raise free-range chickens, grow fish in our pond, garden, plant fruit and nut trees, and harvest wild game. Our goal is
to escape the stresses of corporate life and embrace all that country living
has to offer as we enter the next chapter of our lives. Follow along on our

I love this ❤ you guys are cute! I Laughed out loud yall talking about the flight suit. I have been with my husband 17 years married 11🎉 We have a 7.5 acre homestead with a pond in the big bend area. We moved into our new home 02/06/23
I really like the Shed talk videos because your not just talking about the homestead your talking about the backbone that holds it together. The place is coming along great! I can only imagine how hard it is to keep your place mowed it takes 26 hours to mow and weed eat ours with 2 riding mowers. We also have less trees.

Sounds typical for us USAF types. You find out if the one you are married to, can handle the military grind. The good thing is there are many that can, and if they can handle that, usually they can handle the rest of life together as well. My bride and I, we've been married 33 years, met while TDY in the Philippines, four years prior to military retirement, after my second marriage was done (the ex didn't like moving all the time, military, DUH!), and I wish I could have been married to her a lot sooner as she has been my rock both in the military as well as post service to work retirement. You, Sir, have a definite 'keeper'! 🙂
