32RH (904) Teardown Part 2 Pump Removal

Removing the pump from a 32RH transmission using a rented slide hammer from Autozone. You'll also need a 2" long 7/16" bolt and corresponding washer. A few pulls on either side and it should come right out.

Lost all forward function from my tj 32RH…watching your vids has me motivated to rebuild…where do you recommend getting the rebuild kit from?

I’ve had good luck with rebuild kits off eBay, actually. There are several different kits, so make sure you know if you need new steels etc before you buy.
The one I used in his video was from Oregon Performance Transmission.

@@nathanielmoore5677 like around break in procedure? I don’t…:other than to take it easy initially! Let that sucker idle in neutral, monitor the pan temps, and run it through the gears before taking it out.
