You say Eccleston's costume is the dullest, but it's also the most sought-after. In an interview McGann says he asked to wear a leather jacket and close-cropped hair: "Pretty much what Chris is wearing" were his exact words. Colin Baker made the same request and, well, look what happened there.
@TheSubliminalThought Definately! It's cheaper than buying other varients of the Doctors seperate and it's the only way to get the Eighth Doctor at the moment.
amazing review bats, now I can't wait till august! I do believe that the SDCC jacketless smith + dalek figure has a closed screwdriver, if you look carefully at prototype images
@SuperRichi1A Oh, wait, I just realised it's the same as the An Unearthly Child set, for some reason I kept thinking it was called The Thenth Planet Set, don't know where I thought of that one but oh well ;)
Great End to a brilliant set of reviews...Its great what they've done with Matts Hair in that figure...Have you heard the rumour about the San Diago Roger Delgardo...I can;t remember where I saw it but I did see a picture of something like it..
@batmanmarch icant believe im the only one who got that reference and im 14 fairplay lovely variants, as you said the newbies are atrocious, but for £50 for 11 what are you gonna do. i look forward to your next review, its the revenge set next isnt it?
I just got my 11 Doctors Set today from fobidden planet, I have been waiting 3 months for it. I have to say the paint job on mine is better on the newer doctors and my 8th Doctor has no problem in standing up. The only problem was the 8th Doctor's right hand was loose and was not fitted in properly but it is fine now.
I don't know if you'll read this, but if you do please answer! I would like to know if the 9th Doctor's head is removable. If you have a few seconds please just answer real quick with a yes or no. Thank you for your time, and double thanks for the review! :D
Great review, mate I don’t really like the David Tennant figure with glasses, why not just release a 10th Doctor with a series of exchangeable heads for the glasses like with the Tom Baker figure, or did they do that already? A Tuxedo 10th Doctor would be great
Yeah, I agree about the 11th Doctor. Seems like they gave his figure the same kind of attention that they're giving the classics line. I saw the Crash at the store and I was so impressed with the figure that I picked it up. The only other set I have is the Time Crash set. I would get it for the costume variations and the 8th Doctor anyway. I can't even find a 6th Doctor on eBay and I love the 6th Doctor. Great review.
@PandoricaThe Back then, CO was planning to just make McFarlane like statues, until some smart cookie said, "let's make articulated action figures!" And they turned the Doc and rose statues into figures....though CO has a NICE prototype of Rose they SHOULD have used...she's in a nuetrail stance and looks like Miss. Piper. It's on DoctorWho toys web site.
i cant wait for this set to arrive at my door the only of the exclusives i could get was pertwee so im going to love this set also its good to have a new baker colin baker and pertwee also paul mgann is a good bonus!
I'm really happy that they decided to go with that new head for the Tennant Doctor - SO much better. Sadly, the paint application does look rather sloppy. Also, all these years and we never received a version with bicep articulation. Seriously, just retool the upper arms! Not much to do with the last three in terms of deco. They're much less "flamboyant" than the mid to early Doctors. IMO, they got pretty carried away with the quirky costumes for a while. It was a different time.
It makes sense that CO would pay more attention to the old figures. That's what we're buying them for! We can just go out to Toys R Us for the new series figures. I guess they realize that collectors are the only ones dishing out £50 for this and that they want to classic figures. Also, to me, Matt looks EXACTLY the same as the Crash Set, oh, and they did release a blue shirt Crash Set version, I have both :) Plus, are you planning to do the Hartnell with Police Box release?
I'm sorry to hear your 10th doctor figure is all messed up. If it wasnt, I would take the glasses off, it's a VERY tricky business but it gives a good finish to the face.
@DanielNeedham2500 Mine too, I was so pleased when I got it, I bet you were too! I didn't have anything wrong with my set aswell. I took tennants glasses off though. tricky business but worth the finish
And also this is brilliant for the American collectors as even the new series Doctors have been a pain in the ass to get ahold of (way too expensive for each one: close to 20 a piece!). I jumped all over this release.. 100 bucks (nice shipping discount from Entertainment Earth) for 11 Doctors when 4th Doctor and TARDIS cost 60? SIGN ME UP!
my tenth doctor looks brilliant, no skin colour on the hair, no brown on the face, looks just like david. his eyes are brilliant, his eye brows, just like davids eye brows, you should have got another 11 doctor kit
I think I was fairly lucky with my set, not too many paint splashes, however my Seventh Doctor had a very weak bicep joint, and it broke :( Disappointing 10th Doctor. Great review, as always!
It appears the money they have left for Eight, Nine, Ten and Eleven all went on Eight. Not a complaint, Eight is a fantastic figure, certainly not a regret.
my opinion on the doctors: 1)prefer origonal version 2)same 3)prefer sea devil version 4)1st version 5)wasted money on time crash just for celery 6)1st version (i think) 7) remembrance version with solenm head and hat 8) cool 9)pointless rerelease 10) easeier for different animations but terrible quality 11) pointless rerelease
since I hate throwing things away, I'll pass on this set, I hate the last 3 doctors. not crazy about McCoy's Doctor and I'd rather just have the first five and maybe McGann.
@vengeance1701 I' rather it be 50 bucks or 60...since while 100 bucks and 50 pounds might be the same exchange rate wise...it's a whole different ball game in real life....what's essentially a 10 dollar figure in UK is gonna cost us Yankees 20-30 dollars at least. So unfair.
My friend had the 9th 10th and 11th doctor figures. She had them before i'd even seen the show. And just from their apperiences i decided the 9th doctor was a drug dealer named, Dennis, the 10th was a detective named Aurthor, and the 11th doctor was a rich teenager named, luke...Oh how wrong i was
youre right about the paint on the 10th doctor it is TERRIBLE my 10th doctor and my cousin's 10th doctor is painted properly i dunno y yours turned out so crap
Tennant is the biggest disappointment in the set. I do like the figure. Must do since I bought it so many times before. I was just hoping against hope for one brought up to the standards of the rest. The other two are destined to be customised. Eccleston will have a different colur shirt. Something CO should have done in this set, And Matt Smith will get his fez.
Chris is supposed to look like a civilian it's an undercover sort of thing if you read the new comics it's because he's trying to feel more like a human for what he did as John hurt
Actually it was a long sleeved jumper. Not a T Shirt.
You say Eccleston's costume is the dullest, but it's also the most sought-after. In an interview McGann says he asked to wear a leather jacket and close-cropped hair: "Pretty much what Chris is wearing" were his exact words. Colin Baker made the same request and, well, look what happened there.
I now own both the eleven and thirteen doctors set and I keep my favourites of each figure, those favourites could also be separate figures.
@JTA5000 It is, Bill is a shortened version of William. He was often known as Bill by the production team.
great review i have an idea for a custom do u want to hear
@TheSubliminalThought Definately! It's cheaper than buying other varients of the Doctors seperate and it's the only way to get the Eighth Doctor at the moment.
amazing review bats, now I can't wait till august! I do believe that the SDCC jacketless smith + dalek figure has a closed screwdriver, if you look carefully at prototype images
I love Eccleston's jacket! Its so battered and used illustrating his age
Its a good thing I haven't got 9th Doctor yet.
how could I make a Fez for Matt Smith?
@SuperRichi1A
Oh, wait, I just realised it's the same as the An Unearthly Child set, for some reason I kept thinking it was called The Thenth Planet Set, don't know where I thought of that one but oh well ;)

how long does the forbidonplanet website take to come because i orderd 3 doctor who figures from there and it has been three week
the Tenth doctor is from the end of 'The Sontaran Stratagem' and the beginning
of 'The Poison Sky'
I'm still not sure if I will buy this set,or just buy the doctors with monster/villains ?
hmm, that tennant figure does look crap
which would u say is better, End of Time battered figure, or 11 doctors pack version?
Excellent review. How do you manage to afford all those figures?
@Batmanmarch Rats! I definitly need to get some other figures, but I don't know where to get them!
@batmanmarch icant believe im the only one who got that reference and im 14
fairplay lovely variants, as you said the newbies are atrocious, but for £50 for 11 what are you gonna do. i look forward to your next review, its the revenge set next isnt it?
How much does it work out to be for each figure.
I just got my 11 Doctors Set today from fobidden planet, I have been waiting 3 months for it. I have to say the paint job on mine is better on the newer doctors and my 8th Doctor has no problem in standing up. what about the bad guys in the new sesons ples will you review
I don't know if you'll read this, but if you do please answer! I would like to know if the 9th Doctor's head is removable. If you have a few seconds please just answer real quick with a yes or no. Thank you for your time, and double thanks for the review! :D

Hey dude nice intro video!
Another great review!!
im doin a quiz and wat creature is in galxzey 4
@DrWhoFigureSeries I'm getting this set, but I really want the first release 6th Doctor. That I can't find.
Another geat review! Can't wait to the next:)
@TheCastellan
What? There's 11 figures.
100 bucks (with S&H included). 100/11 = (roughly) 9 bucks a figure.
I don't know where you got your figures from!
Yeah, I agree about the 11th Doctor. Seems like they gave his figure the same kind of attention that they're giving the classics line. Great review.
do you find matt smith a good doctor who I do
when i took my matt smith the arm broke off and the leg is super loose
@doctorwhohub the removable heads are as follows
william hartnall, tom baker, colin baker, sylvester mccoy and paul mcgann
when eccleston originally was realeased he had no shoulder articulation
will somebody make a tutorial custom for the master in the tv movie please and the movie seventh as well
Exactly. Eccleston was a great Doctor as well.
which head is removable
I dont have a problem with this set but my 8th doctor tilts cause his leg was put on wrong
what if you don't have 9th 10th and 11th doctors
Then get them individually, it would be a bit cheaper online!
@PandoricaThe

Is the 10th Doctor's hands really rubbery on any1s
Batmanmarch: "I really like this figure."
Eleventh Doctor Figure: "HOLY SHIT HE LIKES ME!" *Falls over with joy*
Haha jokes for days!!
i cant wait for this set to arrive at my door the only of the exclusives i could get was pertwee so im going to love this set also its good to have a new baker colin baker and pertwee also paul mgann is a good bonus!

Do you like David Tennant?

@JTA5000 Because it's his name.
@orbital151 wat was that about
I'm sorry to hear your 10th doctor figure is all messed up. If it wasnt, I would take the glasses off, it's a VERY tricky business but it gives a good finish to the face.

@timelordstudios100 No, just the hatted head.

It appears the money they have left for Eight, Nine, Ten and Eleven all went on Eight. Not a complaint, Eight is a fantastic figure, certainly not a regret.
@Spunkyman5 I'd say it would be fantastic.
-and bow ties are cool lol
matt smith is taller than Tennant in action figure FOrm is he taller in real life
here it is swap the head from colin baker from k1 robot and swap the head off sylvester mccoy from 11 docs set and you get the regenration figure
daleks*
I actually liked the 9th Doc's costume, never was big on 10 and 11's costumes, though.....tired of suits.
with the tenth doctor action figurehes under whelmed most fans are overwhelmed why isnt anybody ever just whelmd
I think the 10th dr looks qwite a lot like david tenant
I agree what you said about chris and davids figure. Them figures are very disapointing.
eleven's eyes haven't been painted very well...
i got mine 10%off normal price
wow you dislike the new series...
sylvester last are you insane
my opinion on the doctors:
1)prefer origonal version
2)same
3)prefer sea devil version
4)1st version
5)wasted money on time crash just for celery
6)1st version (i think)
7) remembrance version with solenm head and hat
8) cool
9)pointless rerelease
10) easeier for different animations but terrible quality
11) pointless rerelease
Eccleston wore a tshirt not a jumper
@filmmakerkenny Drahvin, duh.
since I hate throwing things away, I'll pass on this set, I hate the last 3 doctors. not crazy about McCoy's Doctor and I'd rather just have the first five and maybe McGann.

7:16 - why put Colin at the back he's my 5th fave doc
6: Sylvester McCoy
5: Colin Baker
4: Tom Baker
3: Jon Pertwee
2: Matt Smith
1: David Tennant
youre right about the paint on the 10th doctor it is TERRIBLE my 10th doctor and my cousin's 10th doctor is painted properly i dunno y yours turned out so crap

Hard question, put the three new doctors in order from best to worst. I hate the new who BTW
no McCoy's good but not as good as Colin but i think he is deffiently better than Troughton, Hartnell, Davison, McGann and Eccelston
he wore a v neck
this set was foucesing on the classic so they didn't improve new series
Respond to this video... i dont like 10 dr glasses
@batmanmarch it's funny non of my freinds or doctor who fan freinds call me bill mm
Becake
Paul Mgann is not classic
He is considered a classic series Doctor by the BBC because he pre-dates the 2005 series
Chris is supposed to look like a civilian it's an undercover sort of thing if you read the new comics it's because he's trying to feel more like a human for what he did as John hurt
Yes he is, if you don't know he kept the doctor who franchise alive with the 4th 5th 6th 7th in audio.
