I just got this as an early Christmas gift, along with the First Doctor TARDIS set. I love them. Now I have to find the Fourth Doctor set. Very hard to find.
@batmanmarch actually, in a town nearby me, theres a hobby shop, with atleast 3 aisles of NOTHING but doctor who crap, action figures, dvds, tardis models, sonic screwdrivers, and anything else related! Its insane! They even have a life-size K-9!
@EdgoIsGo The hatless head was always a seperate figure. Although technically a head swap will be possible, the figures have always be marketed with the one head only.
@PurpleBlancmange I recognise that name from Gallifrey Base :) My review for Tom will be up tomorrow. Although I'm a bit off a stickler for detail, its understandable they've used the same mold. Overall I'm just pleased we have a classic box at last!
Interesting, if bessie does egist as a prototype, possibly we could get a third doctor and bessie set sometime later in the year. because with the first doctor and tardis set released it seems likly that if they were going to do somthing with the third doctor, they would possibly repaint the jon and put him with a new veachile which has never been realesed before.
was going to get one of these but Amazon shows it having a very blue "Police Box" sign, rather than the darker sign in your vid. Was wanting to make it also a season 18 Tom Baker TARDIS. I don't think, it changed much from late Tom to Sylvester don't want a light blue sign though(amazon.com pic).
Great review here, but I'd just like to point out that the handle and lock position are correct for this prop. However, when you do your review for the Tom TARDIS, bear in mind that it's the same tooling, just with a different roof and paintjob. That's economics for you.
Where have you seen all these prototypes like of Besse and meant to ask you earlier what was the name of the person who was head of character options... Nice way to end there aswell
my 4th Doctor's TARDIS has trouble with it's doors as in when I press the button, the door doesn't close properly, is there anything you can reccomend? Please help, as I have to use the 4th Doctor's hand to close it.
@batmanmarch ah right, I believer we have already ran into each other on the forums then :) I am Raggedy Doctor(note the space between 'Raggedy' and 'Doctor') If my memory serves me correctly, you where going to tell me where to get an Auton mask from, but then u never went back on that thread :P
brilliant review! I like how you did a little stop motion at the end

@roloboy97 No, you can get them in Forbidden Planet stores or online.
@roloboy97 They are exclusive to Underground Toys and Forbidden Planet.
Great review! I subscribed! I thought I had already but obviously not. I've pre-ordered the 2010 Flight Controlled Tardis!
I love the little animation at the end!

Loved the stop-motion at the end. Looking forward to your review of the Fourth Doctor's TARDIS.

@DalekBlade I'm waiting for the official images to be released, which I've heard is on wednesday.
