    The Mystery Ranch Blitz 35 Backpack is a super well-designed EDC (everyday carry) backpack made for those who value durability, functionality, and military carryover.
    Thie Blitz will be out in Fall 2022 - but fellow Engearment writer Dan Jimenez and I have been testing them out the last month :)

    Fantastic video, really appreciate it. As a landscape/adventure Photog I really appreciated the deep dive. I’ve been using/ enjoying a go-ruck 40…but this vid def has me considering this pack now.

      Thank you! Really appreciate the kind words. It’s a great pack for sure. We have a few other camera based backpack reviews in simulation size on the channel that might interest you as well. Wandrd and nomadic have some good adventure camera packs. I really like the District for my gear. Though, not waterproof. If it was, it would be perfect.

    I have the Blitz 30 and it's more than enough for a 3 day trip… the 35 is huge, not sure who would EDC that much gear and require such a large bag.
    I could see it perfect for a 4-5 hike though.

    Thanks, good looking pack - although I hope Mystery Ranch will incorporate back panel access into more of their packs (I think they only have it in one now). How does this pack ventilate and does it have an internal frame?

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  2 роки тому

      Hey Brian! I like the back panel access in my backcountry ski pack from MR. it would be nice to see that carry over here as well.
      Bag vents as good as their other padded packs. The only frame that I know of, is the back panel. Hope that helps!

    Hi, great review and I am definitely purchasing this pack for an upcoming trip. I was just wondering what size you purchased. I am between a S/M and L/Xl with a torso length of 18.5" so I'm not sure which harness would be a better fit for me. I have a muscular build, 40" chest measurement, so I was leaning towards the L/XL but my concern is the belt will not fit me properly. Any input you can offer is appreciated.

    Thanks for the concised short review. How would you rate the straps on this though? It looks quite thin from the vid.
    If you've tried a 3DAP pre 2018 how would you compare the 2? Thanks again

    • @Engearment
      @Engearment  2 роки тому +1

      Hello Johnny! I have not used the 3DAP from 2018. So, can’t offer that comparison. I have used the 2020 2DAP though. Those straps a a bit thicker than the ones on this pack. Though, the straps on this pack are thicker and more robust than they may appear on this video. Hope that helps!

    Just got the blitz 35 in black in the mail today. I really like the bag but I will say the hip belt sucks. It’s a basic backpack strap far smaller then what is on the coulee 40. It’s a great bag that I will use daily at work but serious long distance hiking I would use something else.

    • @Engearment

      The main difference between the Blitz 35 and the Blackjack LT 35 is internal. The Blitz 35 has a padded laptop sleeve and 2 internal sleeve pockets, while the Blackjack LT 35 has an internal MOLLE panel.
