This was the best episode of the series (for me). My husband and I also 'dated' on Skype before meeting and getting married within months. I was 36 and he was 49 so we had also waited a long time for the right match. Now we've been married for over 5 years and we feel we are each others soulmate and one and only. This episode brought back so many memories
i met my husband online. neither of us were looking. we were just both part of the anime fandom. we were online for a year and a half before he flew to the uk from brazil to spend a month with me. we were 8 years long distance before we finally got married. and we've been married and living together for 9 months now. :)
For the sounds of it, I think Hasmita literally found her soulmate or twin flame. It was so nice to hear her describe their time together. I am really happy for them!
I think it’s possible for women to do this but I honestly don’t think single men are able to love the same quality of life without a partner. Yea.l know unpopular opinion
I am so happy for Hasmita! That took a lot of guts to go see him and he lived so far but I think it is amazing that he knew her Aunt that is a good sign. He seems so sweet and I think its awesome she waited for the right man. A good word of advice to all women. It is never too late to get married! I don't care if your 40 years old, there is nothing wrong with that so stop counting down the clock. Think about it this way, the more grounded you are in your career the more money you will make and be able to save for the future. If you get along with your parents then don't move out until your married. There is no reason to be spending all that money when you could be owning your own home by the time you get married. Do not sit on your butt doing nothing, you need to meet people but you really do not have to date anyone unless you feel something strong with them. Never settle for less then the best and what you truly want in a partner.
The girl at 47:10 is so beyond shallow. Is looks really more important than personality for you? So you don't mind if a guy treats you like trash and smacks you around as long as he's hot? SMH
It's the Swastika, it's been used thousands of years by Hindus, Buddhists and even the Indo-European civilisation for peaceful means. There is also swastika remains even in places like Turkey. The Nazis just copied the swastika for their racist views, without knowing the true origins.
Jalpa needs to grow up. I mean, she wants to play games and get on with the wrong sort, yet she wants them to have the same ideas as her about marriage. Just not gonna happen. She needs to get her act together and put some work in. Hasmeeta is picky, but it's understandable because she's got her act together and wants someone who's on her level. And Amardeep is a boy, not a man haha. He can't keep up with the ladies! That girl he went on a date with was a bit bitchy though.
I felt terrible for Amardeep. His date was terrible. I agree that looks are important to a certain point; but to be with someone just for their looks is so immature and shallow.
That Diep guy Jalpa likes patted her head like a lil puppy. That’s non-verbal gesture shows that he’s just not that into her and she is in the friend zone...He even admitted he didn’t want hurt her feelings. She finally met somebody who she is not his type LOL. Honestly, she doesn’t look like she wants to be married. She is a pretty young lady ...Just wondering why she’s even on the show.
This show really moved me. Hasmita seems such a beautiful soul, with a lovely personality and inner strength. I really wish her all the very best whatever she is doing now.
Gosh I love how Depeche knew Hasmita for like two seconds and person and says, yeah lets get married! Now that is commitment! This is a good sign of someone who is ready to be married, no games and they will not string you along. The wedding was very beautiful, I really love their culture they are so sweet and I love what they wear at their wedding, so beautiful! Ha-ha I laughed about the whole village being invited! 1500 omg, that's a lot ha ha.
I'm not into anything hindi, but it was plain to see hasmita & Depeche would hit it off well. She had "eyes" for him from the beginning & he was shy, reserved & "safe" enough for her. They both were humble in demeanor and expectations it seems and as such, they conjoined whereas the (contrasting/critical) others did not. No wonder is it?
Can you imagine starting a year single where anything in your life could happen, and ending it with your husband. Personally for me I couldn't cope with such swift proceedings, it takes a while for me to settle to something new and take it all in lol
wow the date at the end with Amardeep was terrible. She was quite horrible. Sure he has a boyish charm -- which I dont mind, but some women would - but he wasn't rude or mean to her - she was horrible and in a mood right from the start. Geez...you'll stay single that way! Loved the story with Hasmita, so sweet.
janelia19 true, but I’m sure Amardeep was banging on about looks in the beginning as well wasn’t he? Unless he changed his mind during the making of this documentary.
I laughed so hard at that one lol!!!! As a Muslim if a boy cannot tend to my daughter as she can tend to him, best believe I will slam that phone! Lol Well that and if he can't season a chicken lol
No wonder that girl who Amardeep met is still single. What an awful bunch of women he met. He must have had bad karma. OK, he is a bit cocky, but at least he is not rude, like these awful women he met in these dates.
I'm so happy for Hasmita. I knew when her mother reminded her that she's not a girl but now a woman, and Hasmita recognized that's " she's a Grown woman"... then on the date in Dubai...she was nothing but a Woman, I knew her marriage was setting in place. and I think she got alot of Blessings and good luck from her Mother just cuz she was sent away and married at 17, I think that had alot do bless Hasmita wedding. God Bless them.so nice
Are hasmeeta and deepish still married? They look so cute and happy together. I really respect both for taking such a step. And indeed marriage isn't about roses, it's about building a strong team.
Actually, I dont agree with you at all. Deepish scored big time, its like he hit the lottery with Hasmeeta, not only is she beautiful, sexy, intelligent but she's a brit. has a british passport. Deepish is one lucky man to have her... but i hope he does turn out to be the guy hasmeeta's wishing for.
Baharigak Who gives a fuck about whether someone is British or not?!! While I agree that she's all the things you said, you obviously never got to know him the way Hasmeeta did. So its pretty unfair to be sexist towards him.
Hahahaha, I am from the Netherlands and last weekend I visited Southall, London. Guess who I saw passing by, Deepish, hahahaha. Well, I could have asked him personally, if he is still with Hasmeeta, but that might be a bit rude.
I wonder why does that auntie think that if you are beautiful and not married, it's wasting your life...one can be beautiful and single there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Why the need to be tied down to someone, to make your life valuable?
Sam Pickles its mean ...Hail Govinda, Hail Gopala...... Govinda and gopala...name of lord krishna...you can Google or go 2 youtube songs are there.....P
After watching this documentary there’s no doubt that people find hard to meet potential partners. There is a huge checklist that is impossible to tick off all the boxes. The girl at 13.45 said its a huge turn off that the boy doesn’t speak English properly and yet wants someone from her mum’s village. May I point out with all due respect that your mum struggles with English too and yet she is an an integral part of your life. Stop judging people so quickly. Its a very faulty way of thinking.
At least you are 50 and not with the wrong person. Find love in yourself first. I have a boyfriend but we are too broke to get married and have children at this moment. We are also in school. It just may not happen for us because I refuse to have children unless I am financially set and secure. My situation does make me a bit sad but it would be worse to be poor and unable to care for a child when I could give them the "world". And life is not only about marriage and children.
Hasmita and her husband, make a FANTASTIC couple🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤. Wishing both of them a very happy, long-lasting,fruitful married life Filled with love ❤❤❤,Peace and ALL the good things in life🙏🙏
Everyone is not ready for marriage just because of tradition. Trust they will just hurt each other with the baggage and immaturity they bring into a marriage.
Why do people keep saying a womans life is a waste if not married by a certain time or married at all? I'm not married, 30, and I don't feel my life is a waste.
I may be the only one in the comments, but I am worried about Hasmita. I wonder how she is doing today. I'm not sure that he was right for her... I think she succumbed to pressure from family, and the whole scene at 48:27 tells me she would be going against herself to please him. Also, that hum of doubt when they asked Depesh if he thought she was the right one. She didn't need to rush things even though she was 28. I respect people who take their time no matter what their family thinks. You don't want to be miserable after a decade of marriage.
I'm thoroughly enjoying watching this one, I just watched the Muslim episode which was lovely though had a bit more of a 'strict' vibe to it. I know there is such a stigma around arranged marriages because of some bad experiences highlighted in the press but this goes to show that it can work as long as the right people are involved and have full support of loving families and there is love. from watching this as well as the Muslim episode, I get a complete family oriented impression which is so wonderful to see especially in Britain where as we all can easily see for ourselves, a lot of young men and women have no respect for themselves let alone others and the institute of marriage. I'm a white British female, of no particular religion (though christened am still searching for the right one for me), me and my sister were raised very strict (brother seemed to have no reigns?!) and when I met my future partner I had to introduce him to my parents and ask for their approval, my grandparents were the same with my mother and I will be just the same with my children. I think us Brits should take more influence from other cultures because clearly British culture is going to pits unless the newer generations are different
MyNatural WayX heres the thing about we Muslims we just love being pure on our wedding night because no man wants a girl who's been around the block in our culture.
Poor Amardeep just can't get a break LOL I think his not really serious and girls can see that he just needs to mature and keep looking. I wish Hamita and her new hubby all the best they make a beautiful couple. And as for Madhaper she needs to stop settling for bad boys cos all they do is waste your time. If she's really serious she needs to find someone who is looking for the same thing as her and once a guy tells you I'm bad for you believer him! Run a away they are bad news.
@ Ray I'm not British I'm Aussie but as for what he was doing he was acting really immature and he clearly was looking for something casual you can tell that by his behaviour. He was polite at first I agree with you but as the conversations with the girls went further he came across as inappropriate
Jalpa is not open to meeting new guys cause she is clearly waiting on Deep to get it together and commit to her. Unfortunately that doesn't always work. She could be setting herself up for heartbreak.
Hasmeeta is so pretty n she deserves a good husband hasmeeta your mum is so beautiful and im happy you have made her proude. U will look lovely as a traditional bride ur dad will be happy. Congratulations i cant wait till u say yes. God bless keep your mun in your thoughts n ur dad n u will make right decision hv fun
When has Hazmeeta said thank you, I think it threw him off because not very many women, thank men anymore for taking them on the really nice date. You could tell he was really looking at her. Thinking deeply about it as she's just grateful to be riding on the boat talking, eating dinner not asking for anything. Neat..
Those "Amardeep didnt get a reply" parts killed me LOL
He’s way too impressed with himself.
Juniper Hill I agree. He doesn’t want an ugly girl, but he’s revolting.
Y'all are savage

He was clown of the show 😂
A bit too cocky.
I quite enjoyed the recurring joke about girls not replying to Amardeep
Hasmeeta did well. I am so happy for her and her hubby. There truly is someone out there for everyone. Never give up people.

Hasmita's guy was smitten with her from the airport! He seems quiet. They make a very cute couple!
Hasmeeta and her hubby make a beautiful couple. Dreams do come true sometimes. The other 2 just need to grow up.
Amardeep isn't quite as smooth as he think he is lol 😂
He acts about 17😅

He was polite at first I agree with you but as the conversations with the girls went further he came across as inappropriate
Alright I know Amardeep is a bit cocky but man they cut deep with the black "Amardeep didn't get a reply" screens 😭
Jalpa is not open to meeting new guys cause she is clearly waiting on Deep to get it together and commit to her. Unfortunately that doesn't always work. She could be setting herself up for heartbreak.
Wonderful happy ending, two beautiful people. Nobody does spectacular weddings like the Hindus! Awesome! Many Blessings on your life together!
Thank You!!

I love a happy ending!!
When has Hazmeeta said thank you, I think it threw him off because not very many women, thank men anymore for taking them on the really nice date. You could tell he was really looking at her. Thinking deeply about it as she's just grateful to be riding on the boat talking, eating dinner not asking for anything. Neat..
Amar is a legend. "If she's fat, we will talk about food." 🤣🤣🤣
Amardeep and his rejections #sadlife
Folk from Madhapar seem to be happier and more mature than others!
Lol amardeep needs to calm down . Just live his life grow up and mature a little and then try again
Manal&Zayn, and he is still a bit of a boy. His dates senses that on him that is why they get nasty on him...LOL...
