Richard Kays hopes to get married, but his lack of dating experience makes his mission a challenging one.

I was married at age 24, and that didn’t work out. And if I’m honest, I knew marrying him that it wasn’t “a match made by God” (but for certain reasons I felt I had to marry him)((🤰🏻)) after a 5 year marriage we divorced. I waited another 8 years and at the age of 37 God definitely showed me who I was supposed to marry, and we’ve been happily married ever since.
Moral of the story: wait until you feel God has revealed the right person to you. Even if you’re 37, it will be better than an unhappy marriage that ends in divorce.
My story is way more full of trials and tribulations however the gist is the same I met my second husband when I was 39 and a single Mom he never married and no children and God put him into my life and we have raised my son together and he will be going into the marine corps next year and 10 yrs on we are happy and blessed!!!!!🤟🏼🥰❤️

It's the 24th January and I'm sat in Jake's house watching TV. After finishing filming Strictly Soulmates I decided to come and visit Jake here in California so that we could get to know each other better.
I've been here almost a month now and we've had tons of fun visiting Disneyland and the Grand Canyon, and I've got to meet all of his family and friends.
Unfortunately the relationship didn't work out quite like Jake and I expected, but we've managed to stay really good friends. It's been good to get to know him better without cameras and microphones and just us anyway. Jake had to fly back to California from England a week after we met so we didn't really get a chance to get to know each other properly during the filming.
So now I'm getting ready to head back to England in a couple of days. I'm excited to get back to my youth work and see my family! I'll be sad to leave Jake and his family though; they have been really good to me here. But I'm sure we'll all keep in touch, and Jake will always be welcome to visit me in Manchester anytime!

Were supposed to marry someone who is in the “likeness of God” so to me that means someone who tries to be Godly, someone who understands we’re not perfect because we’re human, and someone who shares the same religious views as you and tries to carry them out in their daily life.
Like you said, their in for a big disappointment if their looking for God the father.
Actually, the bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything shall be added unto you. (In my experience putting God first works, thats just how i got my husband, many happy years). True christians, if they allow God to choose for them, always flourishes in their relationships. Just sharing that this is part of the Christian experience for those who truly trust God. It works, praise God!

Richard cousin said it best. He wants a blonde and not a fake one. I think it was off putting for her to use slang to try to relate. What cringed me the most is he tried to make her feel comfortable with going over words he uses. His whole story line was just sad 😔.
I am not a practicing Christian, I'm more spiritual, but it is so refreshing see normal men. The ones that seem to contact me are only after one thing. Is it really that hard in 2019 to find a guy who wants to get to know you, and doesn't run when you won't sleep with them on the first night? (In not waiting for marriage, just to know the guy first)

They want to marry so they can live their best lives, making love, travelling etc. It's also taught that everyone has a soul mate and they are complete and living how God made them, when they are married. So they feel left behind and like they're missing out when all their friends are getting married. They marry young because they are more mature and serious than non religious people.

It use to be that preachers were paid a bare minimum salary, and all excess was used for the poor and spreading God's word. Now it seems all excess is given to the preacher for nice houses, clothes, airplanes, etc. Satan has entered the church and made it unrecognizable to God. I fear many will hear the words, "I never knew you".

They have “meet-ups” and some denominations give a lot if the control to the parents, it’s complicated, but, in general they don’t have the role you’re thinking about

They are so uncomfortable talking to people and if "God really loved them" I'm sure he wouldnt make them wait 27 years🤦♂️ blinded by fake books I'm an atheist and me and my gf havent been together very long about 11 months so far and we work out great and we trust eachother. A friend of mine who is christian actually just recently cheated on his girlfriend. People are becoming less religious because they realize how crazy these people look and how they act. Live to a moral compass, not a book. Not telling you how to live btw. Philosophy, a deeper understanding, enlightenment requires absolute honesty, truths that have to be learned for yourself not taught. Much of religion is correct and a god may exist but man wrote every word of every scripture that has ever existed.

Omg i was in other religion but im happy im out..... Im just watching this to see others how works but im happy im free and still love God...
So watching this documentary had made me think: God as a separate entity from us doesn't exist but rather "he" is ourselves when making decisions because we find it easier to make decisions when "someone else" approves. So what I'm saying is that when people say God chose this for me or God did this is actually just us feeling confident about our decision. Believing in a god isn't such a bad idea(when you lack confidence in your decision making) but it can give people confidence for wrong decisions like mass murder (if you know what I mean...I don't want to start naming and shaming lol).

I have a clean living reasonable looking, committed christian son who cannot find Miss Right. He isn't too young now. However we are praying for the right one for him. God can sometimes give the man a vision of his future wife. I have heard of it in a couple of cases. My son is not well off but if a woman is a true christian she would not worry about that. Being that we are the final generation to Jesus return now, he isn't holding his breath waiting. He gets on with his busy life. In his church it is only elderly, married people, and singles who have had kids (most are not living the christian life). We have to rely on God (if it is meant to be in his case) to provide a kind loyal person.

He had finished his degree, had no car, no job, no friend, no wife nothing, but we prayed (he and I) and he met a girl in the office who was very keen on him.The rest is history for him they are married a while now and have a gorgeous little baby boy. His wife was a girl who hadn't slept with anyone (rare) and was christian and I believe because they were faithful God really blessed them. All my (eldest) son's prayers were answered.
