    This is cute and all... but in real life it looks *much* more impressive. It's a shame that you can't really show what good black frame insertion/motion blur reduction like DyAc+ looks like in a video. It's kind of like showing what HDR looks like on an SDR screen.

      Hi, if you are asking the DyAc on XL2411K vs. the motion blur reduction of XL2411P or XL2430, basically they are similar, but we did some adjustment and fine tune on XL2411K.
      if you are asking the DyAc on our 240hz model, then it is very different to motion blur reduction feature, the DyAc performance on our 240hz is much clear than motion blur reduction by our customized panel, and circuit to make this feature.

    On the xl2546 non-k, the Dynamic Accuracy is listed as "DyAC". While, on the xl2546k, it is listed as DyAC+. Is there a significant different between the two? I was planning on getting an xl2546 but then it had come to my attention that the xl2546 could possibly be sharing the same Dynamic technology as the previous xl2411p.

    • @ZOWIEeSports
      @ZOWIEeSports  3 роки тому +2

      Hi, the main DyAc version difference between XL2546 and Xl2546K comes from panel hardware difference, the panel of XL2546K is little faster than XL2546, so the DyAc performance is also a slightlllyy different.
      And by the way, XL2411P doesn't have DyAc, ohh...maybe you meant: motion blur reduction; if yes, the performance on XL2411P is totally not on the same par comparing to Xl2546/XL2546K which performance much more better ^_^

    Hey, whats your recommendation regarding FPS cap in Valorant? I can easily reach a steady 240fps. If i uncap it fluctuates between 300-500. Im not sure if DYAC+ works better on capped vs uncapped. It feels like capped gives me a clearer picture sometimes but im not 100% sure so i would like to have your recommendation on the matter. Thanks in advance.

    • @ZOWIEeSports
      @ZOWIEeSports  3 роки тому +7

      Hi, i think a stable fps is a more ideal condition to work with DyAc, especially the capped fps is above 240; if your fps deviates a lot (uncapped) originally the smoothness will be not that good no matter if you have DyAc or not.
      So i would like to suggest you to follow your feeling to the one you feels clearer/smoother. Cheers ^_^

      Hi, thanks for your support. i think even if you connect with PS4 for capped 60hz, the 60hz latency on our XL will be better than most of monitors for sure; and a higher refresh rate monitor will display 60hz when the console feed it 60hz content, won't won't a higher hz then 60hz when the incoming signal is 60hz. But i did see some article and sharing of a higher hz monitor can reduce the input lag when it is running as 60hz, i think there are too many factors may impact the real feeling, maybe you can try it personally, will be more precise :)

    • @ZOWIEeSports
      @ZOWIEeSports  2 роки тому

      ideally, better to get your game above 240fps, but whether if you will get a worse visual experience or not: it also depends on whether if your fps is stable or not. in case if your fps is lower than 240fps and also deviates dramatically, then maybe DyAc could be a future feature to you when your game is far beyond 240fps and keep it as stably.

    Hi zowie, i'm considering buy a new monitor for fps games like CS and I don't wanna spend a lot of money, so im between the XL2411k which has a brand new design and Dyac Premium, and the XL2540: 240hz but no dyac. Which one should i buy? people say that 144 to 240 its not that diffrent , like 60hz to 144. So im wondering if is dyac premium that good? for me to choose the 144hz instead of 240hz?

    • @ZOWIEeSports
      @ZOWIEeSports  3 роки тому

      Hi, not sure if your GPU is capable of 240hz?
      If yes, then i personally think you should consider XL2540K first, you can check more discussion on forums, then you will know most of ppl can tell the differnece of 144hz to 240hz.
      And also: XL2411K's DyAc has some limitation: the birghtness will drop when DyAc turn to Premium, some ppl can't get used to this, so if there is one shot, and also your PC is more than good enough to run 240hz, then i think XL2540K is my sincere suggestion. If any question, please feel free to let me know.

    • @allurex9801

      @@ZOWIEeSports Thanks for the reply! my pc is capable of 240hz and concerning about the brightness drop its not a problem for me at all... i talked about this issue because of some motion blur tests that i saw on youtube, where dyac REALLY reduces a lot of motion blur (in UFO test 144hz with dyac premium has a pretty clear image in comparison to dyac off, other monitors even in 240hz and above doesnt reach this level of "clearness" without this feature). Nowadays i have a common monitor (75hz), and i think 144hz will be good enough for me, it will not be as good as 240hz off course but the motion blur massive reduction really attracts me. Unfortunately i can't buy the Xl2546k now.

    • @ZOWIEeSports
      @ZOWIEeSports  3 роки тому

      @@allurex9801 sorry for late reply.
      Actually, a higher refresh rate is also beneficial to the blurry issue, and more than that, the smoothness of a 240hz is something DyAc can't achieve; the blur reduction of DyAc is also based on a higher refresh rate- which means the DyAc performance is better when the hz is higher--> and it also means: the DyAc on 144hz is not such good as it does on 240hz. And also, there is also a concern on XL2411K: the brightness will drop around 50%off when DyAc is enabled on Xl2411K, this is due to this panel limitation. So i personally think: if your pc is capable of smooth 240hz, and if you also plays competitive fps games, then you should consider XL2540K more than Xl2411K, as better leverage your good PC resource :D
      Don't worry about XL2546K, it will waiting for you at somewhere in the near future, if you need it. :)

      hi, sorry for late reply. DyAc doesn't create input lag, but it does enhance the non-smooth feeling when the fps is below 100 or when fps has big gap between hz. Since each one may have different perception to the feeling, so i would like to suggest you try to play several hours by DyAc off and Premium as to feel the difference and which one you like. More than that, i would like to suggest you to set AMA: as premium, it is the monitor response time overdrive feature, when the response time/latency is less when you set AMA as premium.

      Hi, sorry for late reply.
      The DyAc won't add input lag, since it doesn't add any extra loading to the image processing to the monitor nor to the computer.
      Other than this, i would like you can try it in game for period of time, as to feel if you like it or not, since it provides different spreading control, dynamic vision feeling in competitive fps titles, everyone has different preference to the feeling, someone like it, and may someone still prefer the general feeling without, it is about personal preference :)
      for more information about DyAc:

      You can feel free to contact us via our social media: ZOWIEbyBenQ on FB or twitter, i will be happy to further understand what game title you play, and also your overall experience to your XL2546K, and then i can provide further assistance accordingly ;)

      @ZOWIEeSports  3 роки тому +1

      Hi, sorry for late reply.
      Emmm.....the answer is yes from my perspective, or otherwise we won't propose new model :D
      Sorry, be honest i think it depends on each one's preference; someone prefers XL2546K due to:
      1. smaller stand for a more space for your keyboard and mousepad placement, and also more room for your mouse movement.
      2. the panel of XL2546K is litttttttle faster than XL2546, someone can feel the difference, but someone can't.
      3. XL2546K has "XL setting feature", ppl can use it to share his own monitor color setting to his friend, or receive his friends' setting if they are also using our new K series. Maybe you think this is not really that practical since your friends doesn't have K monitor yet, and then they may like this because of: you can use this feature to receive more color setting for more game titles, the first one setting you can receive from ZOWIE is: Valorant mode, this is the color setting we fine tuned for this game :)
      4. The XL2546K monitor has a more intuitive and easy to adjust menu, all the features related to game, you only need to have one click, and then you will be ready to adjust, no need to explore the complicated menu treeee.
      5. The XL2546K is compatible with 1080p@120hz for PS5; XL2546 can't due to when XL2546 was born, the timing format from PS5 is not been adopted yet.
      i think those are major differences, if any question, please feel free to let me know ;)

      @@ZOWIEeSports right now i am using 60hz 5ms response time monitors with no ELMB, Black EQ, etc so no matter which zowie monitor i pick it will be game changing for me, im looking at 240hz monitors specifically as i get well over 144 frames in all of the games that i play and i dont want to put processing power to waste if im upgrading my monitor as i want it to last 2-3+ years to come.
      i originally ordered a lenovo y-25 y-25 but quickly cancelled it after hearing of its huge ghosting issues as they pushed for a 1ms response time without thinking of the drawbacks and not having any sort of ELMB, hence why i started looking at zowie monitors as i heard that DyAc is the best in the business
      hearing this you may be confused as to why i mention the XL2540K as it doesnt have DyAc, this is because i noticed that the XL2540K has a 240hz refresh rate whilst also being well within my budget at an extremely good price point being slightly more expensive than the lenovo but less expensive than most other competition whilst also having extremely good black equalisers and contrast settings
      like i said i know that the XL2540K doesnt have any sort of motion blur reduction but i freeze framed some of my gameplay on my current monitor and noticed insane amounts of ghosting and blur that i couldnt perceive as ive spent years on this monitor without batting an eyelid at it and therefore i believe i wouldnt even notice the blur on any 240hz monitor as iirc they're extreme amounts better in that regard even without any sort of motion blur reduction and since the XL2540K isnt trying to push 1ms on an ips panel i have the understanding that it has lesser amounts of motion blur and ghosting than its IPS competition (correct me if im wrong)
      do you think that the XL2540K would be a good fit for my bridge from 60hz to 240hz or should i save up alot more (to me) in order to get one with DyAc or DyAc+ technology? i hope i laid this out in a way you can understand my points i am not trying to be a top esports contender i am just trying to bridge the gap and make my way further towards the top whilst keeping a good user experience (afaik the K series have made alot of QOL changes for users)

      @@apj.-.-.-.-.-.-.-119 Hi, sorrryyy for my late reply, and also thanks for your sharing let me understand your consideration better, it is impressive :)
      From my point of view, the improvement from a 60hz to a 240hz is already be a very big step ahead, i know you may won't upgrade your PC to a 240hz condition that fast, but i think a 240hz monitor upgrade will be a worthy investment and also can avoid the hassle to further monitor upgrade from 144hz to 240hz when you updated your PC. So from my point of view, i will recommend XL2540K instead of XL2411K "IF" XL2540K is under your acceptable price range, and also you play competitively and also may have plan to update your PC in the future.
      And once you decided, then i think you can feel free to it, no need to be bothered if add more budget to a better one model (even i always stuck in between such hassle :D).
      Even XL2540 doesn't have DyAc, but the smoothness and clarity should be much better than your previous 60hz monitor. And especially the feeling of DyAc (or what other strobing) is very subjective, someone likes it, and someone might not like it, but a higher refresh rate benefit is very easy to be recognized by most of ppl (you will for sure), and that is why i think you choose XL2540K is quiet okay.
      And most of our features and design on XL2540K is almost same to XL2546K (fast response, black equalizier, color vibrance, XL setting to Share, FPS color settings, smaller stand, monitor stability, height, tilt flexibility...); even XL2546S has more added (DyAc+ , S Switch, Shields) which you may already know.
      Again, thanks for your sharing; i try my best to share you my idea such what i will tell to my friend who has similar condition as yours; i don't want to sell out, i wish my suggestion can be relevant to you. Hello, I have a question regarding the xl2540 and xl2546. I've tried finding what's the difference between the 2 but I still don't really understand. Does the 2546 have better dyac? Or like better response time? Someone pls explain. Thanks in advance.

      hi, the main difference is: XL2546 has DyAc but Xl2540 doesn't. More than that, XL2546 has Shields, S Switch (remote controller) but XL2540 doesn't.
      Regarding the response time, they are the same.

      Hi, if you are mentioning the DyAc+ on XL2546K; when you turn on and off the DyAc+, our brightness "number" shown on the menu will be different, but actually the brightness are almost the same.
      This is due to our DyAc+ will automatically adjust the brightness as to keep the same level when it is on and off, so you don't need to worry if the brightness "number" change.

      @@ZOWIEeSports i use XL2546, but i am competetive gamer and me and a lot of other gamer changing now to 360hz. Unfortunately this 360hz train you missed. I was on zowies webside and saw the release from the "k" version. But this version includes not really improvements (execpt dyac+). Therefore, I assume that zowie will not release a monitor for the time being. Now I will upgrade to asus/alienware 360hz. I have already tested the Asus one. If zowie will release the new monitor, i will change back (maybe). I think you need 6-12 month until i can but it. In my oppinion zowies biggest advantage is the black equalizer. Much better as asus PG259QN. We need an monitor like this: 360hz, fullhd, black equalizer from zowie, gsync (you will notive the improvement instantly), dyac+, blue light filter, nvidia reflex modul :) if TN or IPS should be deep tested. On IPS Valorant looks like "WOW was there an grafic patch??" But the problem on competetive, there is too much contrast and information for my eyes. On TN the maps are lot more "clear" and less shadows. Is easier to focus. Kindly regards,

      so i wanted to switch from 144hz to 240hz and i just bought a Benq XL2746s to play valorant and replace my old XL2720z . (i make around 160-260 fps)
      When i started playing i noticed that if i was standing still without touching my mouse or keyboard the game would look sharp and clean, but as soon as i started either just moving around with my keyboard or just standing still but moving my pov with the mouse the screen would not look sharp and clean anymore, it looks like i can see the grid of the pannel, like a lot of little squares. it stops as soon as i stop moving and comes back to sharp and clean.
      Also when I’m in a gun fight and other players are moving and I’m still it’s noticeable.
      i noticed the only moment when the problem doesnt occur is when im both moving myself around and also my pov. i also tried to watch some videos on youtube and as soon as the video moves i get that grid looks again.
      that is very disturbing to me because the image is inconsistent.
      i didn't have this issue with my old XL2720z but what im trying to understand is if, the problem is my monitor itself.
      Or an FPS being low sync issue etc.
      or do I need to chase warranty?
      I plan on updating my PC soon.
      New CPU and GPU etc so my FPS should be 300+ soon.
      But yeah I brought the monitor for the dyac feature as it’s pushed so hard for csgo and valorant. But I’m really not getting on with it at the moment...
      I’ve almost thought about switching back to my 10 year old 2720z which I have always loved!

      You can set the highest setting of both DyAc and AMA (Premium), it won't conflict.
      Regarding the response time, there is no common standard response time measurement and definition, so i avoid telling you any number as to make you confused. But i would like to say:
      you don't need to worry, its native response time is the fattest one comparing to other 240hz monitors.
