Whats the difference between xl2546 and the k/s model?
This is stupid. All you did is replace a stand. A monitor stand costs $20 on Amazon. How about you guys focus on making a monitor that has a true 1ms response time without overshoot. Monitor companies have been advertising response time such as 1ms and 0.5ms for so many years, yet there is still no such monitor.

Its Benq they haven't made anything significant for a year now. All they do to their mouse is change the feet and upgrade the sensor after 4 year, What do you expect.

Long range aiming. Something long range appears as a small dot even smaller than your crosshair, that's the reason.

Others like me try to sit far and try to adjust by trial and error and hope the bullet hits the head😂. I personally experience this, whenever I load up aim botz on csgo and toggle long range. Their head is smaller than the gap in my crosshair. Like
@@Dirtbuik i think what @peacemekka was trying to say is, if you have a black screen where each 10 seconds a single pixel turns white, youd be able to spot that better at a closer position to the screen compared to say 2m away. Obviously this is a pretty exaggerated but i think it serves a valid point

240hz is the go too for rn even though 360 is coming out. This monitor is only for those who want to take fps seriously imo. As time passes ppl are still not gonna be upgrading to 360 for along time since it costs a lot. This one is no different, since this the golden boy of tournaments and is endorsed by many pros but it costs so much. Plus I’m still triggered when I couldn’t get my hands on one and when I was waiting for restock they stopped manufacturing them even tho they just came out and came out with this.
Mmmm honestly this monitor is not "the golden boy of tournaments" anymore... It is outdated on release!
Just think about how much money is invested in these kind of LAN Tournament events, obviously they have the capability of getting 360hz monitors for all the players. And probably they could just reuse them in other esports events that rent them...
And looking it for the perspective of a pro player, they always want and need the best of the market that gives them the top of the edge advantages in competition, so it would be so fucking stupid to get a 240hz monitor while there are so many 360hz monitors with a lot less input delay, motion blur and better motion clarity because of the 120hz extra. And if they can't afford it with her own money (a thing that I honestly don't think would happen...), they just can ask their eSport's organization to provide them with one to have the best results possible in tourneys...
Poor guys or tourneys that are sponsored by Zowie, because their player's skills would be handicapped because of the 240hz monitor...
Hi I have issues with my xl2546 the switch thing where I can change settings is not working it’s not switching setting when I press 1,2 or 3 and sometimes the screen just flashes very much

1. reset monitor: menu/system/reset/reset all
2. unplug S Switch, and turn off the monitor, and unplug power cord to rest it for 5 mins, as to release all electricity completely
3. plug back power cord and S Switch to check if this issue is still or not; if yes, then please kindly apply RMA on our website, we may need to further look into details of this issue and provide assistance accordingly.

@@aetherflo g sync helps when ur GPU can't push fps equal or higher than ur refresh rate....no benefit of g sync in e sports games and titles. It's helpful in AAA titles.

They cater to esports, frankly anything above 240hz is a gimmick and therefore they aren't going that route for now. Too many limitations with hardware apart from the monitor with most competitive games.

I've purchased this monitor for making tests, possibly to make it as my main one. Well, I'am a bit dissapointed because the colors are much darker compare to my 2746s..
As Zowie says, the panel is 100 same on 2746s and 2546k , but guys, its completely not. The colors are darker and reddish (that red is almost burning my eyes)
So after some tweaking (tried different settings), it got a bit better, but red is still a bit of an issue.
Overall, the monitor itself is good, the picture is smooth as other 240 benq panels etc., but color issues is the reason why I'll not recommend this monitor.

These monitors are targeted for eSports players. Not for people who play casually. 1440p is nice but having a higher fps is what matters most to professionals.

@@argg.x This monitor as of right now is the best on the market when it comes to eSports (360hz monitor by Asus is in the making but not released yet). It is however very pricey and the reason for that price is because it's aimed at eSports players and professionals who have a lot of money to spend on expensive equipment like this. If you have a lot of money or you're seriously thinking about going pro then sure but if not then i would recommend the Alienware AW2521HF or you could wait for the Asus 360hz monitor to release but i guarantee you it will be very expensive as there's no competitors for them to compete with meaning they can charge a high price.

Edit: didn't take much research to solidify my points, makes no different to brightness... They're also much more efficient than standard IPS so think you need to do a bit of research...

@@bluesun_0 Dimming zones have nothing to do with IPS specifically. If they are a thing on a monitor at all, they are behind the panel itself. Also, not a single one of the monitors using .5ms IPS panels at this time has dimming zones. You have literally no fucking idea what you're talking about.
This monitor is for eSports players and professionals. It's there top end monitor so you can expect it to be this expensive and lets not forget that they're probably not making many of the them as how many are made and bought affects pricing. That's why when there's limited stock on something prices can go up. TN panels have the lowest response times so it makes sense for them to use it as they're target audience is *drum roll please* eSports and professional players! If you're not happy with what BenQ is making then use your wallet and buy from another monitor brand. No point complaining unless you're going to put your money were your mouth is at as BenQ like most other companies only care about money and as long as they're making a profit they don't really care unless of course there is a huge demand for said product but only time will tell and they honestly don't really need to focus on high end display monitors as they're still making money.
If i have two offers 1) XL2540K VS 2) XL2546 at the same price range which one would be recommended for less motion blur and less ghosting in fps games :) ?

Yeah, K has slightlyyyyyyy faster but the difference is subtle.
And the variable sync is also the difference which you also mentioned; the benefit depends on whether your pc/game has a stable and high fps or not; this may be more noticeable when you have a low and unstable fps condition; or you may less likely to use it when it is high and stable already, especially if you have concern when it is been enabled.
heyo ive had this monitor one year going great until i tried adjusting the stand ie rotating the monitor to face me with the footstand facing away, but it looks like its locked in or stuck? ur help is appreciated w this mono i dont wanna risk breaking this

I think maybe the monitor is off the rail, the solution is to hold the monitor head by two hands, and evenly to force the monitor head to up and down as to bring it back to the rail.
