As a mom, who quit her successful law enforcement career protecting children, to take care of her own, who is also called by God to help protect His children in this season of babies and toddlers and homeschooling as well… it’s so helpful to hear your rawness. It ministers to me so much. It makes me feel less alone and less condemnation for not being enough for my babies and for the calling. Please never stop as long as God calls you to this! Thanks so much!❤
I’m a single mom and widow and I thank you both and the Bevere family for these amazing podcasts and videos! My husband passed when my daughter was 6months old, she’s now 4.5 and I’m going through a difficult time with her. I’m going through all the avenues I can to overcome this issue for her and with her, including building myself up the best I can to be the best I can be for her, leaving the rest to God. I feel weary but I’m trying to lean into God more. Prayers appreciated, God is good 🙏🏼🙌🏼
I’ve been watching you guys talk about family and I’m loving it! It’s such a challenge topic! I’m loving your honesty, simplicity and rawness about everything you are talking about it! I’m learning so much! Please keep up the good work and may God continue to bless and encourage you even more! I also loved when you had your kids joining you on the other episode! ❤
I needed this. The comparison is so real and it quickly turns into that mom guilt. When that guilt gets so heavy it tends to shut me down where I don’t even leverage what we have. I shut down because the enemy is so loud in my thoughts telling me that I’ve already failed the day as a mom. This is all so real and a daily battle. Thank you for sharing this and it’s nice to not feel alone (as the enemy wants us to feel).
I'm not a mom yet, but these podcasts feel like such a massive gift of preparation to me! Thank you, Addison & Juli, for sharing your family and wisdom with us. Truly so grateful!
That’s funny you say that! When I was pregnant with my first child, I added watching the Beveres to my “birth prep” haha! God used their online presence to calm my anxieties about parenting. ❤
Great haircut, Julie! What a great episode. I had to keep pausing the video to write notes! These episodes help to remind me that God is more active in my child’s life than I am. I also loved what you shared about how we are God’s children and are kind of in this continuous season of “growing up”. I look forward to more episodes ❤ Thanks, again!
Thanks 🙏 I am a mom of three preteen daughter, teenage son and an eight-year-old. I have to say this been one of my greatest broadcast that I’ve heard. I’m praying that you guys continue to do more and more sounds so real to me to my family thank you for your testimoniesand may God continue to use you guys. I gotta say I saw at least three episodes today and I’ve been blessed thank you.
Brazilian mom here being soooo blessed by you❤ May God vive you strengh and wisdom to take care of your own and the ones God is giving you. Love you, guys!
I really want to thank you both for being steadfast not only in faith but with this podcast/channel. It has served in deep ways to not only my life and family, but many others as well. Anything “Bevere” is anointed, however your approach and discussions are always authentic, delivered in love and rooted in the Fear of the Lord. Keep sharing your wisdom, it’s impacting many even when you don’t know why you’re doing it. As a mom of 3, who prayed this morning to have more grace for myself because I have little to none-this message hit home in a very practical and non-overwhelming way. Thank YOU🫶🏻
Being so blessed by these videos! Thank you all for your faithfulness to God’s call in this venture. I’ve always loved and known Lisa + John (via books as a kid + then following on social media) and now feel like you’re friends I get to glean wisdom from in my living room 😄 the beauty of the body of Christ. These videos and topics are so needed in the body so thank you for speaking up, as such godly examples for many to learn from! You all exude the joy of The Lord. Glory to God. God bless all of you beautiful Beveres!
Thank you so much for this wisdom and advice. I have a 2 year old. And there was so much truth that you both shared that can not only help me now, but that also prepares me for the future. Thank you for allowing the Father to use you. I’m truly grateful for the time you take to equip other saints for the glory of our Father. Thank you!
So good! As a mom with a 6, 5, and 1 year old it’s easy to feel mom guilt. Over not doing enough or doing too much.. and I’m really realizing I have a lot of soft spots when it comes to parenting that I need the Lord to come strengthen and fortify.
I am so glad I stumbled upon your podcast. Every episode is changing my heart posture to parenting my two beautiful toddlers and my marriage to my wonderful husband. I would love to know… where to start? I was raised in an Australian Catholic household, but after high school and starting university my faith seemed to lose priority, competing with the pressures and demands of life. My husband does not know the Lord… where does one begin…? Thank you for your wisdom 🙏🏼
And I wanna say, this is 1st time Listening...where the heck did a guy like this come from? Lol...Hes so aware and sensible...I appreciated Listening to him.
My youngest of 4 just graduated high school and as I listen to this message on G.U.I.L.T. the relevance is just as meaningful to me as a mother now as it would have been with young kids. I so appreciate the Real.Authentic.Way. format and the genuine conversation I can easily hear while entering into the topic presented.
Soooo good! Thankyou Addison and Jules! There is so much richness in your chat today. Being humble and receiving God's grace every day ...multiple times!! I love that God is what our children need. We are their parents...being who we are, partnering with God❤...loving them. I love the simple things in life to spend time with our children .....coming out of who we are.. how God has made us...having a tunnel vision to share ourselves with our children. To enjoy being 'us' 🌹 Thanks Jules for that reminder. Yours is cooking, mine is music😊 Living day in, day out, bit by bit teaching them to know wisdom and instruction. Coming back full circle to the 'fear of God is the beginning of wisdom'. Mum guilt is so real but I feel encouraged again to know that God loves our children more than we do. ...He has a plan and I need to trust Him. He will guide us if we let Him.. Thanks for being honest, both of you! Love C xo ❤🌿 ❤🌿
It's always refreshing to watch and listen to your discussions. As a mum walking through the teen phase with my teenage son I've learnt a lot and it's made me a better mum by God's grace. God bless you ❤
This was so great and so needed. Julie, your hair cut is adorable. I’m 62. I’ve so been there. I am a first generation believer in my family. I was saved at 18. I had my first child at 23. I knew I wanted to raise my children in a Christian home but didn’t have the upbringing myself. I made tons of mistakes. I had so much guilt over the mistakes I made. Also, Julie try your best to do the self care. It’s very important for your mental and physical health. When you do it for yourself, you teach your kids it’s important too. Blessings to you both and to your family!
Thank you for another amazing podcast ! I would love to see a podcast about your love story and how you guys started dating and the obstacles you had when you started your marriage. I have heard a little from another podcast Julie did but knowing your backgrounds are different and here you both are sooo many years after and the beautiful marriage and family you have now it’s so inspiring! So I would love to see how you started and what working through together to heal and build the strong marriage you have now was like.
Thank you Jesus I needed this one for sure new mama here! My boys 18 months old 🙏🏼 the best gift of all time is being a mama I didn’t grow up in a Christ centered home at all it’s all new to me a being a wife and a mama but I was definitely led here for a purpose can’t wait o finish listening and sending prayers to all the moms 🤍
Thank you Addison and Juli for putting words to what I didn’t know how to ask as a Mom in the early stages and for illuminating some things I need to address with Holy Spirit moving forward. The Lord bless you!
thank you. I have 4 kids (10, 8, 6 &3) and due to their different personalities it can feel very chaotic most times. I also work from home so the mom guilt is very real. I feel I should be able to do it all and know how to fix it all.
Thank you so much for sharing about this topic. Absolutely so encouraging and I needed to hear this msg. Am greatly encouraged and I thank you both. God bless ❤❤
Elvira Gill: Binge watching your channel for the past 2 hours, my highlight of the month!!!! Christ be the Glory!!! Deep gratitude Addison and Juli for showing up and bringing your best though it aches being away from your teenagers, you made a difference as you planted seeds through Christ. I am preparing my mind, body and spirit for the Gill's ( my offspring) that will come into existance in planet earth through His grace and mercy and crazy Faith 2025!! THANK YOU!!!!
I want to be a mom but already struggle with the idea of "Am I enough" and specially "Am I ready?" Thank you for this honest conversation and for reminding me that I do not have to be everything for my future kids. God will give every parent grace 🙏 His burden is light
This is so good! As a mom of 4 in a blended family- there are times where guilt about my past has tried to creep in, but God's sovereignty and redemption is too good. So grateful. For content purposes: I'm curious how you structure teaching your children biblical truths, who are all at different ages. Other than the small personal moments where you get to share biblical principals - how do the two of you teach your children to read their bibles? I have 5 year old twins, an 8 year old, and 12 year old and struggle with knowing how to teach all of them and how to schedule the teaching, and where to start. I would love to hear a podcast on how you encourage your children to read their bible and how to study it.
Thank you for your sacrifice of time and sharing wisdom from your current season. I love these conversations and find it very helpful as I am in the same season with parenting. Thank you. 😊
Thank you for your costly sacrifice to make these podcasts. This is the first time listening to your podcast and I found this one to be so encouraging. I would love to hear from you about navigating through dealing with and directing teenage kids to have a personal relationship themselves with God when they are so rebellious and resisting (maybe you have done one already - I will search), as I too have 4 kids - the eldest being a boy of 14 and the youngest a boy of 5. I find the teenage years by far the most challenging and emotionally draining (even in light of very difficult baby years of colic and reflux and difficulty feeding and everything that goes with that) as they challenge everything you say/do and have such strong opinions and desires to be totally independent and think they know everything and also what is best, when it is not. How do you successfully navigate through that?
I'd like to try the same things you suggested but we have small kids so I feel like it has to look different to me, like go on a walk on my own, I can't do that right now. But thank you for this episode, very much needed!
Hi Beveres! Really enjoying the wisdom found in your podcast. I have a question that I feel my own upbringing didn't prepare me for. I know that the two of you aren't there yet, but have you thought about what boundaries you'll set up for your children once they hit the dating stage? Long story short, we allowed our 17 year old to start dating when she was 14. Mostly because we thought the boy was a wonderful boy, and at the time, couldn't come up with a reason to say no. We set strict boundaries, one of which was, that they are not allowed to be alone. Well, he is now 18 and she is a few months away from 18. Our daughter is very respectful and won't go against our rules (praise God) but I find myself wondering if (and when) that rule should be lifted? Honestly, the older they get, the more "dangerous" I think it is for them to be alone. I do regret letting her date so soon. Not because anything bad has happened, but because we are now in a situation where she's older and more familiar with him and they will likely be asking when can they hang out ..... alone. His family is much more "worldly" than we are and I'd like to be able to share some wisdom with him on why we want to keep the boundaries in place. But all I have is a gut feeling. He is a good young man. He was raised to believe in Jesus etc, but he is too busy pursuing worldly success right now and not pursuing Jesus (this is what his father models for him). This causes me concern too as I don't want my daughter's heart to get too connected if he continues down this path. I also want to give her space, respect, and show her that I trust her. Because, frankly, I do. So... just curious about your thoughts on this subject and what wisdom you may have to share. Thank you.
I stay off social media. I Don't watch other people's lives. I am Single Mom and homeschool 4 kids...our life Is chaos and dysfunctional but Whatever. We love each other. I do everything I can and I'm proud of myself. The end. We enjoy life!!! ❤ I am not over thinking anymore. I'm living!!
Hey guys, thank you so much for your wisdom and vulnerability. I am divorced now for 4 + years. Can you share on divorced families as well. When your kids stay with one parent as the primary parent and you only see your kids every second weekend.
So grateful you guys are having these open conversations that remind us all that each day we all need to give our kids and ourselves space to grow and keep our relationships intact. Also, did you say defrag (19:37ish) Addison!? Like I used to defrag my computer? That took me back 😆
I kind of miss the traditional house background that seems so cozy and inviting 🙃 however, I can imagine that having to clean up before each session is a nuisance😅
I dare say it's not even unique to being a mum. The constant voice that says 'you have failed' over and over, whispering itself in every nook and cranny of life. I personally think it's a targeted attack by the enemy on women...
I have friends that dated divorced Christian women with kids, and they said that the women most of the time felt guilty for the divorce and tried to compensate. They would put the kids before the relationship instead of balancing both. Jewish mothers are the best. They keep everything in place. 😀😀
I am in Florida. We cancelled our disney passes cause I HATE it! Lines, tourists , the HEAT! We are okay not going back in a few years 😅 I already commented but I am finally finishing this podcast (mom life 🥲)

Hi! Thank you for sharing your wisdom through the Word. 🙏🏽 I needed this.

💯💯💯💯
I am only 5 mins in and I wantes to say thank you for sharing this topic. I can see I am not alone and I appreciate that
Thank you so much for this! This is truly so helpful!
This was great! Interested in hearing about friend influences for 1st grade age and navigating tough relationships/ influences that are unavoidable.

Have you listened to Jordan Peterson and/or Jonathan Pageau?
Can you guys make a podcast in Homeschool! Please
Funny you say that. Stay tuned... (coming sooner than you think)! :)
