I bought a black 2RS in june and i love it. It does not bother me about the hard plastic, but then i am not about to pay 40 thousand to a hundred thousand dollars for a car.
What's amazes me,is the haters who hope this car fails! My sister had a 1990 Geo Metro ( 3 cylinders, 53 Hp). It had 72000 when she got it, 147,000 when she sold it. I lived in Germany, we had the 26hp, 2 cylinder Trabbi, and Italy had tiny motor cars, that they drove forever! Maintenance, Maintenance, Maintenance! In Japan they have several kei cars ( 660 c.c. ). So, its a cruise4, not a sports car. Just a pretty sedan- station wagon- hatchback! 162 ft torque beats my 6 year driver 2013 chevy sonic 121 ft torque/133 hp. I have 100,500 miles, and no problems, yet.
Definitely no memory seats however they are heated. That right toggle on the steering wheel can be pressed and when you do press and realese it gives you the option for 3 different guages and two other options. It cracks me up that people like to complain about hard plastics and the small engine. This is a $25k vehicle people with a ton a features and it's absolutely amazing they are able to sell them at this price. Nevermind the fact that they come from South Korea which can't be cheap.
😂😂😂 this comment had me rolling especially when you said it's not cheap to bring this junk over 😂 , it is incredibly cheap u fool It's Daewood , nothing but low quality all the way around especially from Korea
10,000 miles on mine, it has been one hell of a performer. I have absolutely no issues with the car at all. Mine is a 1LS, with the only option being the Black paint color.
Most of Hyundai and KIA cars here in SoCal also Toyota dealerships all have $1800 to $5000 dealer markups. For that much of markups, I will take the Chevy any day any time. Don’t care about the resale value, it’s only 25 grand, and it’s made in South Korea, so the quality should be on par with Hyundai or Kia. This is the best budget SUV out there.
In the DC area I have seen 10K markups on the new Trax and they still can't keep them in. I was able to negotiate a just under 4k markup. In the large metro I think dealerships are using the low price to squeeze out higher prices, as people will still look at anything under $40K as a deal
You must be the dumbest person to believe hyundai and kia make quality cars when their service bays are constantly filled up for engine replacements 😂 For 25k , go get a mazda , it'll actually last unlike this load of junk
Hi I just drove the new Chevy Trax today and absolutely love it. I can’t wait to buy one. I’ve already leased two Trax’s back to back and thought those were great but I wanted all of the new safety features they’ve added to it, plus a little more pick up which this new Trax has. I love the larger info center and the new design, along with the great price. Chevy you’ve outdone yourself. As far as not having a pull down cup holder in the back, I am a single senior, that never has more than two people in the car at one time so that isn’t an issue for me. I just wish I could get my hands on one now. I live in the suburbs of Chicago and you can’t find these anywhere because they are gone before they even get them in. It took me three weeks to even test drive one. I have been using this time to listen to all the reviews online which has helped me make a positive decision. Thank you for the great review!
Is it me or you had the perfect weather for your video great sunlight and the clouds in the background was picturous I wish I could have seen more of the exterior but this and the Buick Envista are on my short list, the Buick gives you a power hatch, but great review 👍
This is nice, but I staying faithful to the 2024 Trailblazer RS AWD! A few more features that I like, that this Trax doesn't have. But it's still nice.
I was interested in this car until you mention that it does not have all wheel drive. thank you for the video it answered many of my questions, I am deciding for the Blazer.
I like this vehicle. I test drove one. But I didn’t buy it for two reasons: 1. Waiting for government crash test results. I guess they are even in short supply for the government to crash test! 2. The dealer I dealt with wanted to add a $1300 “market adjustment” to the MSRP, along with other dealer fees. Other dealers are doing the same based on my website research. Dealers are going to have to stop doing this or else they’ll be losing customers. I’m not paying any other fees above MSRP except for tax, title, license, and a reasonable doc. fee.
@@sentry8992 Market adjustment is when they slap on an extra few thousand so that you can be grateful you paid MSRP during negotiation. It’s a sneaky way of them winning no matter what. You use to be able to knock 1-2% off MSRP without breaking a sweat on new vehicles especially with crap vehicles produced by Chevy.
Yeah and the movies were 5 cents, you didn’t have a freezer and had to get blocks of ice delivered to your house and you made $4k a year. Times are changing gramps.
It is amazing-looking and the interior is very nice. But I don't know about turbo 1.2s is it just me or does that not scream, planned obsolescence. You can get a NA 2.0 elsewhere that is planned endurance. For around the same $. But yeah this looks better.
It is planned obsolescence unfortunately but GM is committed to all electric by 2035 so these models will probably be the last ICE designs you can buy from GM.
That’s under $25,000 without options like the moonroof and adaptive cruise control. Not sure though if that $27,000 price tag includes taxes and destination charges.
Let me start out by saying Chevy did a great job with the new design. That being said I just don't trust a tiny 1.2 liter 3 cylinder engine in an SUV. If it had a 4 cylinder and more horsepower I would definitely be interested. I can understand why Chevy is trying to create vehicles that are more cost friendly however I think it's really going to hurt the Trailblazer sales given both the Trax and Trailblazer are both competing with one another to be Chevy's best small SUV. Not all will agree with me...but can we at least all agree when asking the question: why no back cupholders?
That huge info screen area is going to be a major nuisance. Super reflective glare and dust. Everyone is doing it, doesn’t mean it’s right. Not to mention it’s a huge distraction while driving trying to touch right buttons in sunny weather
Look at this thing. How else do you think they were able to get the prices so low? They had to be wise with every aspect of manufacturing to make a profit off this model. I also don’t understand why Americans rub their noses in Buick and China’s business. That country has way more respect and love for the Buick brand and sales figures reflect that.
The Buick Envista sold in N America is not assembled in China. The Envista is being assembled in GM's S Korean plants along with the Trax for the N American market. While it is correct that GM makes a version of the Envista plus a version of the Trax (called Seeker) in China, those vehicles are sold in that market and not exported to N. America.
