Great review. I bought the 2025 Activ in black about a month ago. But for anybody watching this, and I've seen it on other videos as well, the dealers are dropping the ball in makeready before delivery to the customer. If you look at the infotainment system when he's running through the features, the psi of the tires are in the high 40s. That's wrong . That's how they come when shipped to the dealer. My dealer missed it as well, and when I properly inflated the tires according to what's on the driver's door, 35 in the front, 32 in the rear, the ride quality was a ton better. All that said, just passed 3k and loving it so far. Great little vehicle.
Have the 2025 1RS. 1600 miles. No issues. Drives, rides very well. Had to emergency move out of the way today because of stupid driver blowing thru red light. It definitely can get out of its own way. This was first serious test of capability and it passed with flying colors
People need to not hate on these 3 cylinders.. typically turbo engines have a lot of torque which is what you feel when accelerating. Also don't expect 200 horsepower out of a 20k car... That's not how it works.
Love the safety features. They definitely let you know what's happening. The engine is more than enough for me.I didn't buy a Camaro.I bought a Trax.$24k for my LT.
I think the new Trax is a whole lot better than the new one. I hate the old Trax, and the old Buick Encore. The new Trax and Envista looks way better. The 2RS is how I would get a new Trax.
I feel like that adaptive cruise control is kinda awkward how it uses the same button to change the gap as it does to adjust the sensitivity of the forward collision warning
I like this vehicle, but I have concerns about the long-term durability of the wet timing belt. I've seen reviews of other Chevy cars that have this type of belt, like the Chevy Onix, and it seems they start to break around 50,000 miles.
Love mine!! Soft ride and much power than my 2020 hyundai tucson . the only complaint from my teens are the lack of cup holders 😅 im not worriied at all
@@northwestnonproductive164 honestly I don't think anything makes it better, they have the exact same engine, I just like the looks of the Envista a little more
You’d just be paying more for an Envista than a Trax since Buick is a “premium” name brand even though the Envista has the same engine as the Trax on all of its models.
@@Cerby1979 I know, I just like the outer look a lot more and the more features it has, and they at least put a splash guard under it, my hood has only been popped maybe 5 times now and the engine looks like it got sprayed with dust and dirt, so going to put a trailblazer guard under it
Which tire size road better 19,18,or 17. They claim 19 inch wheels corner better and drive better. Did you notice a difference. Kia soul nissan kicks or chevy trax which drives better. Of its the way chevy trax looks better. I love ❤️ it
I assume that the tiny 3 cylinder 300HP engine in the Corolla GR is ok??? I agree that this is stupid, but if not driven too hard and taken care of it should last for at least 10 years. But, the wet timing belt seems REALLY STOOPID.
@@bmw803 I think it would be fine, but obviously understand that it has the potential for turbo replacement, engine issues and belt servicing. If you are okay with this going in then great. Others may want to spend a few more thousand bucks and potentially forego the above maintenance/replacement and get a non-turbo and timing chain vehicle (yes we know about timing chains).
You expecting a lot more for that price point? These vehicles are selling very well and my nearest Chevy dealership is having a hard time with getting in more Trax vehicles since they’re in high demand. Same goes for the Envista though not at a rate like the Trax but still leaving dealership lots.

Picked mine up on Thursday, love it
I bought a pretty exact version of this vehicle. It's making it's first 180 mile nonstop run to Phoenix. First of many.
How did it go? Thinking about getting an Envista (which has the same engine) and needed to know how that engine handles on long road trips.
Great review, I bought the IRS in April from Hornbeck Chevrolet in Northeast Pa. Best vehicle I ever had. A game changer in compact SUV market.
I bought this today and i absolutely love it!
I just bought mine on Saturday. The one you see on the screen is exactly what mine looks like. It's amazing.
@@danielgoetz7821I got a 2024 LT. 10k miles almost no problems yet

I have a 2RS like this one loaded over a year a year and i love it!

Just got my 2RS 3 days ago, great vehicle for the $$$
I’m not quite ready to replace my vehicle. This is the first vehicle that I am going to look at.

Love the design interior and color as good looking as anything else in it's class 😜.? And price ?
I feel like that adaptive cruise control is kinda awkward how it uses the same button to change the gap as it does to adjust the sensitivity of the forward collision warning
I also like this red color in the Buick Envista ST. As far as the new Buick Envista Avenir, the Ocean Blue color looks great on that car.
I wish it’s a four-cylinder. I miss them.
I mean it still gets the job done. The 4 cylinder had the same horsepower as this one at first.
Love everything!
how does it feel over bumps? Especially with the bigger wheels?

If someone has a 2024 Trax with 50k miles on it, what is their daily commute? 80+ miles?
This engine has been used for years in other models.

My AC died on my new Chevy trax 2025 1RS 😢 with only 2k miles on it now I have to be driving a rental car until my back order part gets here
How do you get the lights to flicker like that?
They don't flicker. It's the camera's refresh rate that's making you see it that way because they're LEDs.
Just got an LT a week ago, wish I'd of seen the 2025 Buick Envista before going with this
What makes the Envista better than this? I was looking at them both.

How can lock the door?
Chevrolet trax 2025 is timing belt or timing chain?
Belt
Tiny turbo and oil bath timing belt!

@@bmw803 I also heard it was a GDI engine (carbon buildup possible) but haven't confirmed
@brandy7442 most engines today are all GDI, so by now hopefully these Geniuses figured out how to have engines without that problem.
It looks like the cruze interior.
1.2 turbo...yea, that's for me, sure.
I have one, am LT with a couple options, if I didn’t tell you it was a three you would never guess, it has good torque.
It's good enough for people on a budget and don't beat the engine. I don't like the idea either, but we need more affordable vehicles.
