In this final episode we see Devin recording with the awesome Tigers in a Tank Choir and he looks back on how this album came to be.

Devin's vocal is just... heavenly. Heavenly is not enough to describe his voice. It's beyond anything imaginable.
"Offer Your Light" is so fucking kickass. It's a force of nature. Straightforward, no bullshit!
Dev, for your info, (for future attempts) you can multi track a 'virtual' choir, but you need to move the singers around vs the same mic position for every layer or else it will never stack convincingly and in certain cases with very 'tight' singers you can get phase cancellation .

I though at 4:16 "you want us to switch?" was about that.
I don't know why every time I have an existential crisis I end up watching and listening to Devin. Another mind that has a focus on so many things that it's hard to see how it all intertwines. Every time you listen to a track, you'll pick out something else you can no longer hear the song without. It is "just music". The man "just" happens to be a genius and he does it through raw emotion and persistence.
Devy has the most beautiful smile on earth.

I only buy digital most of the time but I have to say I do miss sitting down and looking at the booklet of cd casea like the old days, reading the lyrics while listening, it's a lost art lol
Transcendence is, by far, DTP's best release (and that's saying a LOT). Thank you to everyone involved for creating such glorious music for all.
There isn't, nor has there ever been, a man on Earth I have cared for and respected so much despite never having met them.
I would travel anywhere on the planet to tell him how much his music and his growth has influenced me. He is what makes me so proud to be in music. I love you, Dev. And every sigle one of your bandmates. Thank you for changing my life forever.
Transcendence turns out to be a masterpiece! I listen metal and progressive metal since I was 8 years old and I never heard such a wonderful album ever in my life!

The album is an endless well of inspiration.
I love Dev so much. Beginning of his career up to this, there isn't a bad piece of music. I do have a special place in my heart for Terria, though.
PS, the fork scraping on the plate in the last three seconds KILLED ME.
I fucking love everything about these videos, the insight, laboring and the soul of it. it truly shows Devin you out your all into this, that's what I love about this band. the bonus is some of the greatest musicians on the planet and the heaviest sound ever produced. every time I listen to this album I hear something new and there's time I just get emotional like I'm ready to bust out and cry, it's that moving for me. can't wait for the next one, but this one and Addicted, to me, are the pinnacle of epicness!! I absolutely LOVE the new record. It's truly amazing. I'd even venture to say that it's one of your best. That being said, Secret Sciences REALLY had a profound effect on me. It hit me like a ton of bricks (in a GOOD way). It really resonates within me. It's something I NEEDED to hear. I've been through so much turmoil in my life, esp in the last 3 or 4 years now and I've always worried myself sick.. I have the worst anxiety ever. On top of that, I have suffered with insomnia for over 16 years.. so lack of sleep combined with anxiety mixed with all the crap that's going on in my life... it's a bit overwhelming.. and for some reason Secret Sciences just really spoke to me. It's something I NEEDED to hear. Thank you for the music you create, Devin.. you and your band will always be among my favorite musicians of all time.

Ok. That's enough. Enough I said! Just bought the 2CD + T-shirt to support you, even when I downloaded the album like weeks ago. One more thing; Stormbending is a fabulous super epic track. Thanks to you and the band, and all who helped creating it.
After having this on my driving rota for a couple weeks now, I can say that this is the most solid album from the DTP. It is so well produced, I can't name a track as best or worst.
