Lunar Strain was recorded in 1993, most band members including vocalist Mikeal Stanne where 19 at that time (Anders is a year older than Mikael). You have heard several different drummers if you listened till all In Flames albums. Jesper Strömblad played drums on Lunar Strain but switched to guitar after that album. Björn Gelotte joined the band 98 and played drums on The Jester Race and Whoracle befor switching to guitar, after him it’s Daniel Svensson 1998-2015, Joe Rickards 2016-2018 and Tanner Wayne from 2018. In Flames also released an EP 95 (Subterranean) where Dark Tranqulitys drummer Anders Jivarp plays on some of the tracks and Arch Enemys drummer Daniel Erlandsson plays on some.

Maybe you'll start reacting to Dark Tranquillity again. The Halo Effect's vocalist is the same. You should check out Misery's Crown with his low clean vocals, and epic live in Milan 'The Treason Wall' and 'Insanity's Crescendo'.

Funny thing, none of the band members playing this song are in the band currently. It's a completely different band altogether.
Though I enjoy the music from this early on, you can hear that it's made by teens/tweens with very little music knowledge and experience. Talented, for sure, and with some great and innovative ideas! But a diamond in the rough. Very rough.

Mikael Stanne is one of my top 5 all timr death metal vocalists, Dark Tranquillity and In Flames are the godfathers of the Gothenburg sound

They released Lunar Strain in 94. Actually, in next year it's gonna be 30 year anniversary of this album, they could remake/remaster this album with Anders on vocals. Also highly recommending title track from this album, total masterpiece.

Hi Dan, greetings from the UK. I love all your reactions man. Glad youve recently jumped on the Gojira band wagon. I'm a massive Korn fan too. And arnt Sleep Token quite something. I would donate to make some requests but pretty skint at the minute. But even if you don't react to these guys on your channel at some stage I think you would dig them and enjoy some of thier material in your own time. The first is the song Memories of the Afterlife by Human Error. Think they disbanded a long time ago after barely getting started. I randomly came across thier album by the same name (as the song above) a long time ago on UA-cam and was blown away by it. But couldn't stream any songs or albums by the band anywhere else on the net and could find next to no info on them. Anyway Human Error - MOTAL is a melodic metalcore masterpiece. Also could you check out Shade or Hollow by Heart of a Coward. After Lifeless Years or Empereal by Sylosis. And Echoes or With Different Eyes by The Eyes of a Traitor. Would be much appreciated.
