For everyone looking to bake it without having to rewind the video a bunch of times like I did, I’m adding the recipe below. Thank you so much Chef Tyler for this recipe! I just ate some and they are phenomenal! - 1 Roll of premade Pillsbury flaky layers biscuits - 1 package of Pepperoni - 1 block of Swiss cheese - 1 block of mild cheddar cheese - 3 TBSP butter (will need some extra) - 1 egg - 1 TBSP Fresh basil - 1 clove of garlic You will need a baking sheet or a oven-safe dish 1. Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit 2. Remove biscuits from the package and lay out 3. Cut up pepperoni and cheese 4. Gently spread the biscuit dough by hand 5. Once spread, fill the biscuit with all three ingredients 6. Seal the biscuit into a ball, making sure to properly seal the inside to avoid leaking ingredients during baking 7. Rub some butter on the baking dish to avoid sticking (use extra) 8. Crack 1 egg into bowl, whisk, and brush over top of uncooked biscuits 9. Bake biscuits in oven at 350° for 12-15 minutes (larger biscuits will likely take around 18 minutes) 10. While the biscuits are baking, chop 1 TBSP of basil and 1 clove of garlic 11. Melt 3 TBSP of butter in a bowl and combine with basil and garlic 12. Once biscuits are done, brush the butter mixture over the biscuits as they cool 13. Enjoy! As someone who's allergic to tomatoes, I sincerely appreciate that this is a pizza related recipe that only puts the tomatoes in at the very end. The actual balls don't require the tomatoes for any reason and I can just easily skip that part! Thank you!

But when I'm seeing recipes and say to simmer it in the tomato sauce or something, I just give a disappointed sigh. Mostly because when I actually have a pizza for myself, I substitute alfredo sauce in its place. So if I can't substitute alfredo sauce in there, then I basically just sigh and move on.

Nice! We did this as kids, but we would just flatten out the rolls and then put the cheese and pepperoni on top and just had mini pizzas. Was our favorite thing in the world when I was a kid and much cheaper than ordering a pizza.

This is actually a really good stay at home date idea. Easy and simplistic great for making it with that special someone. But also tasty and good presentation.
This is a Recipe from WV originally. Coal miners were mostly Italian in WV they were immigrants. They had cheese pepperoni and bread in their lunch pale in the mines. But they didn’t have enough time to finish all 3. So one went home and asked there wife to combine them. So they used pepperoni dough and cheese and baked them. WV
Oh hey!! This is one of my favorite lower effort meals, I make it all the time; but I always use shredded cheese, cubes look much easier! I also never thought to put garlic and basil in with the butter, trying that next time too
As a West Virginian I recognize these almost immediately. These are basically pepperoni rolls in bite size form. That being said, I'm excited to try making these. These look like my next addiction.
I can't say these are exactly bite sized. Considering each is a biscuit, even if a bit squished down, maybe more like 3-5, depending on how fast you gatta wolf it down.

The only draw back was the lack of fillings, but I'm pretty sure it was an issue with the type of biscuits we ourselves used, lol but anyway thanks a ton for this. And I won't say no to alternate biscuit suggestions if anyone found a type that'd hold more filling safely.
