It depends on your tastes. It might become overpowering depending on how many spices you've got in your curry. If you have more in the curry, sometimes less chicken seasonings work. It's all down to personal preference.
I partially agree with you tbh. I tend to put southern fried chicken with mine, but that's just me.

I’m Japanese and I approve this. It’s interesting you put it in the mixer to make it smoother. I will try it to.

For those of yall who don't know how to not burn a roux, just use a high temp oil instead of butter lol. I just figured someone might need this information.

As a part Japanese person, This is honestly an interesting way how to make Japanese curry, You can just do the simple way of making it with (Onions, Potatoes, Carrots, and Any kind of meat, (Chicken is always the popular choice) but either way, this is the most creative way of making it ❤️

The chicken cutlers are called "Milanesas" in my country Argentina. And we have tonnnns of other variations: we do them with other meats like cow or pig, or we also do them with eggplants for vegeterians too, and we use breadcrumbs or other things like oat flour to coat them. Some of them also have ham and cheese on top. We est them with smashed potatoes or pasta on the side, or french fries or salad. It's a distinguish dish in our gastronomy!! ❤❤❤

nice! so many different ways to make katsu - i opt for honey and sesame oil with rice vinegar added at the end instead of oyster sauce and i round the whole thing out with coconut milk - elite dish!

    Tips:
    - replace flour and water with coconut milk
    - marinate chicken in any pickle juice for at least 40 mins before breading
    - cook oil with seasoning and herbs before adding rice and water all in one pan for deluxe rice
    - (optional) use brown rice

When I lived in Japan and discovered tonkatsu...my life changed. Japanese food is SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST SUSHI. WHICH IS ALSO BOMB. Did I mention I got super fat when I was there? Love katsu curry.
