I've recently bought the C300 the other day from Anker's website for $60 off, bringing it down to $190 before tax. No carrying strap though, but I don't think I'll need to carry this around everywhere anyway.
The C300 DC has just been announced here and it will be available from the 26th. With a discount it costs the same as the Ugreen 300w. But I'm only getting the DC as a supplement to the Anker C800 and 555. Thanks anyway for the comparison between AC and DC. That shows how much space you need for the AC option.
Agreed it is a significant difference with the DC only, much smaller! I also have that C800, love that thing and the DC I think will be the perfect supplement for it, supposed to get mine in a few days!
Odd that the label on the bottom does not list a 12V PDO, but the KM003C shows a 12V PDO. Does the 12V PDO actually work? Have you tried triggering it with the KM003C? The lights flickering is not a good sign. Something is wrong with the output sine wave. Do the lights pull more than 300W or have more than 300W inrush? It's possible that it was triggering SurgePad, which lowers the output voltage to keep total wattage under 300W. The Anker 522 does not have SurgePad, which explains why it couldn't power it at all. Did one light alone flicker too? Is there a way to turn off SurgePad in the app? On the C1000 only one outlet is SurgePad as one should never use anything but purely resistive loads with it. It might damage some devices and appliances, including motors and fridge compressors. Be careful. EcoFlow announced their River 3 Plus yesterday. It can sustain a true 600W load. Like the C300 it also has a 10ms UPS, but it also has a HID USB port for a computer to tell it to shutdown when exhausted. I don't think they announced pricing yet. Anker used three 60mm high speed fans on their C1000. They drone at low utilization and sound like a blow dryer at high utilization. Apparently they don't learn from their mistakes. Seriously, why couldn't they use a larger fan with high static pressure and fluid dynamic bearings?

@@wwjoshdew The River 2 also has a 300W limit and their SurgePad is called X-Boost. All of these features lower voltage to decrease wattage. They may use slightly different algorithms allowing one to work more normally than the other. Either way, don't plug your lights into either as you may damage the LED drivers inside. Try plugging in your lights into a normal wall outlet through a power meter. I bet they draw way more than 300W. I believe the River 2 allows X-Boost to be disabled in the app. I always disable such features. It's only safe to use with appliances like a hot plate, tea kettle, or heater without electronics. It effectively simulates a brownout.

For AC UPS mode on the C300: if the battery depletes completely in a prolonged outage, do the AC output ports start working again as soon as AC input power returns? Or, as the manual suggests, do you have to manually press a button to re-enable the AC output, making it basically useless as an unattended UPS? Thanks!
I believe I had to press the button to turn it back on, and I had to wait until it was two percent. Wouldn’t let me press the button to activate the AC ports until it had a bit of charge back in it.
