- BMW F10 M5 S63 with the complain of vibrations while driving at small engine loads. It is noticeable at 5th 6th and 7 gear on small engine loads on RPMs not higher than 3000. We going to try to diagnose this issue with Steelman Wireless ChassisEAR Diagnostic Device Kit.
Parts that the owner already replaced before coming to us:
Flywheel + clutch
Engine bushings
CV Axles
Driveshaft balance - checked out
MAF sensors
Lambda sensors
Injectors
Spark plugs + coils
No fault/error codes related to the issue in all of the control modules in the car.

Fascinating problem, guys! Thanks for sharing. Have a good one. Regards Nico.
I had vibrations during acceleration on 2nd gear in my E92 M3 6 speed. The problem was that the center rubber mounts which support the exhaust were old and were sagging. During acceleration the exhaust pipes were hitting metal to metal on the center support plate and vibrations were sent thru the whole car body
If the vibration is in multiple gears but at the same rpm range you would think it is an issue with the input side of the gearbox. Wheel bearings can be measured with a dial indicator. But wheel bearings increase speed with the speed of the car no matter what gear you are in. I would look at the adaptations in the trans and see if you see anything there. The B clutch is input for higher gears.
Thanks for the ideas! I didn't mean that the wheel bearing can cause this, I just said that the tool can help to diagnose a bad wheel bearing if there is a wailing noise coming from somewhere.
@@crank3646yes, that wheel bearing comment was more for viewers sorry. My favorites are your rebuild videos.
Nice video and fancy tools :) Have you checked the front Thrust arms? Vibartions on F10 chassis are often due to that.
